Davis was very responsive and helpful helping us to design our itinerary. We went through a few drafts before we made one that fit our interests and time.
Davis is a wonderful wildlife guide. He is friendly, intelligent and of course an excellent birder. We saw well over 400 species over 14 days, not to mention the primates and mammals we saw too. Throughout every stop on our trip, Davis was organized and well connected with local guides and lodges. We had such a wonderful time in Uganda and would highly recommend Davis and Wide Birding for any tour! Very safe and great value as well.

Reliable, great communication, passionate and tireless driver/guide
I chose Axis safari because I saw so many reviews and good words about them. I can confirm everything. From the very beginning they were polite and no pushing me to decide. I found with them a good mix of accommodation and a good price. We did 6 days safari/5 nights: 2 days masai mara, 1 day lake nakuru and 2 in amboseli. We can achieve all the goals: lions, lioness and cubs, rhyno, cheetah and leopard, giraffe, zebras and so many others. Khalifa, our driver, was so tireless. He tried to find every animals we would love to see going everywhere and knowing every corner of the national parks.
The accommodation were amazing and also our adventure friends.

Fantastic experience!
My 3 day trip was well organised. Uganda is definitely wellunderrated. I really enjoyed all parts of my Uganda trip, from gorillas in Bwindi to relaxing & unique Lake Bunyonyi. Ben was fantastic as a guide & driver. He went above & beyond. He was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful & kind. My only regret was not staying in Uganda to visit more amazing places. I’ll be back, hopefully with Ben from Dav Safari.

We got to experience the great migration of the wildebeest, and Steve guided us through the trip with lots of knowledge and guidance about the history and culture of the amazing Serengeti region. Great migration is greater with Lenchada!
Before planning our trip to Kenya, we got in touch with over 12 tour operators for the Maasai Mara safari.
Amongst these Lenchada was the second cheapest option for a 5 day safari.
We were in touch with Collins L, who was super responsive day-night-weekday-weekend.
Collins helped us tailor a safari based exactly on our dates and requirements.
He only ask for a nominal fee to confirm the booking, and the rest of the amount is paid just before departure.
On the day of the departure, Collins handed us over to Julius.
Julius was our safari guide who has been in the business for over 2 decades.
I had my doubts on the first day of the game drive as Julius did not stop where dozens of jeeps stood, to watch a lion.
He instead continued driving further and took us to a spot with 2 lions!
That's when I knew to blindly trust Julius!
Over the next 5 days we saw hippos, giraffes, elephants, lionesses, wildebeests, cheetahs, leopards and rhinos! Julius just doesn't miss!
Julius has many stories about learning the skill from his father, meeting tourists from all over the world and how his children are doing well at school. He is a positive man and it is refreshing to hear personal stories that are not just about hardships and struggles.
You can even request for Julius at the time of booking your safari. Those who have experience with safaris know that the chances of spotting animals is directly correlated to your guide's expertise!

An unforgettable safari with an excellent team and perfect organisation
My friends and I chose this company for our very first safari, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. We booked a 7-day budget safari and were lucky enough to have Ebby as our driver and David as our cook. They were both incredibly prepared, punctual, professional, and always willing to help and accommodate our requests.
For a budget safari, it was everything we could have asked for and more. The nights in the tents were not the most comfortable, but honestly, they ended up being one of the highlights of the whole trip. Sleeping in the middle of the wilderness and hearing the sounds of the animals around us was an unforgettable experience.
Ebby was an amazing driver and guide. He knew how to navigate the rough roads perfectly and always seemed to know where to go for the best wildlife sightings. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and their behavior, and he was patient and determined to give us the best possible experience. Thanks to him, we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five!
David was also fantastic. He prepared delicious meals for us every day, even in the middle of the parks, and was always friendly and helpful.
The safari was an incredible experience, and we have so many unforgettable memories from these days. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for an amazing safari experience in Tanzania, especially if you are looking for a great balance between price and quality.

A wonderful experience, great organization
We booked the last-minute four-day safari to visit Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Conservation Areas. We immediately received a warm welcome from Happy and his colleagues, who guided us throughout our journey. Besides being an excellent driver, our guide, Healthy, was very knowledgeable and skilled at answering our questions about ethology and the area, and he engaged us by inviting us to participate in interactive games. The meals served during the safari were excellent, as were the accommodations at the two lodges and the campsite (the bathrooms at the campsite could be improved).
