Unforgettable experience
We were picked up at our Nairobi hotel by Peter, our driver and guide for the following 4 days. We drove to Naivasha and stayed at a beautiful camp, where we experienced our first close encounter with zebras, giraffes and other animals. After a lake boat ride the next day we went on to the Maasai Mara reserve. A several hours drive with rough sopots (you can also choose to fly). We stayed 3 nights at a beautiful camp in a "tent" with bathroom and shower and electricity. The meals were all buffet style and adequate. I particularly liked the Indian food options. At the game rides with Peter, each of which was seveal hours and tailored to our taste and needs, we saw allmkinds of animals at very close range: lions, cheetah, elephants, hypos, hyenas, crocodiles, giraffes, buffalo, countless varieties of antelope, etc. Peter was amazing at spotting them from far away and was an encyclopedia about their name and habits.

The ultimate 10 day safari experience with eXplore Plus Travel & Tours
My husband and I went on a 10 day private safari with eXplore Plus Travel & Tours. We traveled through Kenya & Tanzania in a clean, well equipped private safari Landcruiser. The pop up roof gave us 360 degrees of game viewing. Our English speaking guides who accompanied us from the start of our trip until the very end were of a very high standard, very knowledgable and had great senses of humour. All of our accommodation was very good, we especially loved the experience of staying at Mara Under Canvas. We saw everything we wanted to see and more as well as being lucky enough to be able to tick off the Wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River! The hot air balloon safari & bush breakfast was a WOW extra that we can highly suggest everyone adds to their itinerary. The booking process was seamless through eXplore Plus Travel & Tours. The safari was once in a lifetime. I can highly recommend eXplore Plus Travel & Tours, we will be booking through them again in the future.

Our guide Dennis Mwangi has been excellent — knowledgeable, friendly and brilliant at spotting wildlife. He has really gone above and beyond to make our trip special.
The accommodation has also far exceeded our expectations for a budget safari — comfortable, clean and welcoming.
We still have Hell’s Gate to experience, but so far we couldn’t be happier. Fantastic value for money and we would highly recommend Axis Africa Safaris, especially Dennis! 🇰🇪❤️
