Perfect :)
Our 5-day safari from Nairobi through the Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and ending in Arusha was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
We especially want to thank our first guide, Sironka. He gave us the perfect start to our trip his knowledge, personality, and the overall vibe made the experience amazing from day one. We were therefore quite surprised and disappointed that we had to change guides at the border. Unfortunately, we were not informed about this in advance, and that was the only part of the trip that left us a bit disappointed.
Our second guide was also excellent. He was very knowledgeable, worked incredibly hard to make our safari special, and even spoke some German, which we really appreciated because it showed how much effort he put into communicating with us.
The accomandations were all perfect for us the food was very good with an good variation.
We were lucky enough to see an incredible variety of animals, and the entire journey was unforgettable. Overall, it was an amazing safari that we would highly recommend. The only suggestion for improvement would be to inform guests beforehand if their guide will be changing during the trip.

An Unforgettable First Safari in Kenya – Thank You Beyond The Plains Safaris!
What an incredible experience! Seven of us recently travelled to Kenya for our very first safari, organised by Beyond The Plains Safaris, and we came home with memories that will stay with us for a very long time.
Our trip began in Nairobi, where we stayed at the Argyle Grand Hotel Nairobi Airport on our arrival in Kenya. We also returned there for one night before our flight home. The Argyle was excellent — comfortable, welcoming and very convenient for the airport, making it a great choice for the beginning and end of our holiday.
From Nairobi, our safari adventure took us to Amboseli National Park, where we stayed at Kibo Safari Camp, followed by the magnificent Maasai Mara, where we stayed at Mara Maisha Camp. Both were wonderful places to stay and gave us two very different but equally memorable safari experiences.
Another highlight was taking a bush flight with Mombasa Air Safari from Amboseli to the Maasai Mara. It was a fantastic experience in itself and saved us a long journey by road. All the transfers and arrangements worked seamlessly, which meant we could simply relax and enjoy the adventure.
Our two driver-guides, Jimmy and Ben, were absolutely brilliant. They were friendly, knowledgeable, patient and professional throughout. They looked after all seven of us extremely well and really added to the enjoyment of our game drives. Their knowledge of the wildlife and the areas we visited was invaluable, and they always seemed determined to give us the best possible safari experience.
A particularly big thank you goes to Fridah Kimathi, our main point of contact at Beyond The Plains Safaris. From the initial planning right through to the trip itself, Fridah was responsive, helpful and reassuring. Organising a trip for seven people involving Nairobi hotels, safari camps, road transfers and a bush flight could easily have become complicated, but Fridah and the team made everything feel effortless.
On our way back to Nairobi, we also stopped for lunch at CJ's at The Waterfront Karen, which was another lovely touch to the itinerary. The food and experience were amazing and it was a great place for the seven of us to relax and enjoy lunch together as our safari adventure was coming to an end.
As this was our first safari, we didn't really know what to expect, but the whole experience exceeded our expectations. From our stays at the Argyle Grand Hotel, Kibo Safari Camp and Mara Maisha Camp, to the game drives, bush flight, wonderful lunch at CJ's, spectacular scenery and, of course, the incredible wildlife, the entire trip was unforgettable.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Beyond The Plains Safaris to anyone considering a safari in Kenya, whether it's your first safari or you're returning to Africa. Everything was extremely well organised, we felt very well looked after throughout, and most importantly, all seven of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
A huge thank you to Fridah, Jimmy, Ben and the entire Beyond The Plains Safaris team for making our first safari such a special and unforgettable experience. We would happily travel with you again!

Martin was amazing.
Martin was our tour guide and he was amazing. It was our first Safari and all the staff were amazing and helpful. The accommodation is beautiful and food is awesome too. We were unable to see all of the big 5 but Martin made up for it in the way he handled all other animal encounters. I highly recommend for the price and experience

We Saw All of the Big Five!
We had an absolutely amazing experience with Balu Travel!
Benzo was an incredible guide, and Tetu was a very reliable and professional driver. They were both extremely caring and made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire journey. Benzo shared so much interesting information about the wildlife, nature, and Maasai Mara, which made the experience even more special.
And the highlight - we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five!
I don’t usually write reviews, but this time I genuinely felt that I had to. Our trip to Maasai Mara was truly unforgettable and will stay in my memory for the rest of my life.
Thank you, Benzo, Tetu, and Balu Travel for such an incredible adventure!
It was excellent and our trip ran very smoothly, could not have been better.
The tour group is excellent. The guides and accommodations were amazing, we saw and learned more than expected, and the company was very responsive and accommodating. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a great and personalized experience. Excellent value and an outstanding trip all around. Highly recommend!
