We had an amazing safari experience with Savanna Sojourns Safari. We were lucky enough to see both the Big Five and the Ugly Five, which made the trip absolutely unforgettable. Our driver and guide, Steve, was fantastic; truly the best! He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and fully committed throughout the whole safari. He made a huge effort to find the animals, drove us all around the reserve and was always very attentive and focused on giving us the best possible experience. He was also very funny and made the whole safari even more enjoyable. We had such a great time with him, and his good energy made every moment special. You could really see how dedicated he was to his job and how much he cared about making the safari unforgettable for us. Highly recommended, and a very special thank you to Steve!

We had a wonderful safari experience with Savanna Sojourns. We managed to see the Big Five and also the Ugly Five, which was incredible! Steve, our driver and guide, was excellent. He was very professional, friendly and always made a big effort to find the animals and take us to the best spots. He knows the reserve very well and was constantly looking for ways to make the experience better for us. He is also very funny, which made the long drives and the whole safari much more enjoyable. Exceptional
Fantastic safari from start to finish. We were extremely lucky and saw both the Big Five and the Ugly Five during our trip. A special mention has to go to Steve, our driver. He worked incredibly hard throughout the safari, driving us all over the reserve and always trying to find the best sightings. He was professional, attentive and clearly very experienced. What made it even better was his personality; Steve is great fun and kept us laughing during the trip. He was always involved, motivated and focused on making sure we had the best possible safari experience. Highly recommended. Steve is definitely one of the best guides you could ask for.

Tailored experience with knowledgeable guides and quality accommodations close to the parks
We went on a 13-day safari and trekking trip through Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania with Wild Uganda. Planning the trip was easy as Ernest was incredibly communicative and helpful when I needed guidance. The service provided by both guides (Andrew in Uganda and Rwanda and Octavian in Tanzania) was exceptional. We learned a lot about each country and felt safe and well taken care of by our guides.
The accommodations prioritized proximity to the parks, resulting in easier mornings, and shorter lines when entering the parks. Both guides were able to navigate park registration seamlessly and we were able to focus on the animals and nature around us. Both guides were knowledgeable about both wildlife and plant life!
The trip was a great value for the money we paid and we would rebook with Wild Uganda on our next E. Africa safari and trekking trip.

Service could be improved, vague planning.
The driver was excellent, and the hotels, while simple, were decent.
However, regarding the 4-day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru itinerary: it states that you’ll see Lake Naivasha from a viewpoint, but that doesn't actually happen—you drive past it on the road, but there isn't even a stop.
Also, we only spent three hours in Nakuru Park, even though the entrance fee is $95.
The picnic lunch provided during the safari is quite meager—just a piece of bread, a piece of chicken, and some fruit to last the whole day.
On the days we were scheduled to stop at a roadside restaurant for lunch, the stop happened at 11:30 AM 😅.
All in all, the parks were great and the staff were pleasant, but the service itself leaves a lot to be desired.

We were one of the very first customers of Untamed Safaris a few years ago (Namibia, Zimbabwe and South Africa) and felt that safari was so well handled by them that we used them again for this safari (Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda).
