Amazing Safari Adventure in Tanzania
Great experience with Serengeti Clarity. Teresa’s communication was prompt and thorough as we planned this once-in-a-lifetime trip. One small accommodation hiccup came up but was eventually rectified. We highly recommend the accommodations at Mbuni Serengeti Camp and Eileen’s Trees Inn.
Shout out to Ebenezer, who picked us up from JRO and gave us a great city tour to start the trip.
My husband researched extensively, and from previous reviews, we knew we wanted Abdul Mhando as our guide. Wildlife encounters depend on nature and timing — never guaranteed. But Abdul’s experience made all the difference, positioning us perfectly for photos and videos. He has sharp eagle eyes, spotting wildlife from far distances. As he put it, “you are here to see” — and he made sure we were in awe of what we saw. He’s also courteous, polite, and a safe driver on the bumpy roads — we always felt safe in his hands.
Huge thanks to Teresa, Ebenezer, and Abdul for an incredible safari. Highly recommend — be sure to ask for Abdul! Asante sana!!
Tips: Vegetarian meals are well accommodated, but pescatarian isn’t always available. Bring toilet paper, a buff for the dust (dry season), and hair ties + good conditioner — hair gets knotted and dry. Don’t expect wifi in the vehicle or reliable network in parts of the Serengeti.

Best management!
They did really good management when I visited as a sharing traveller to Masai Mara. We 8 strangers comfortably shared the vehicle with enough stops en route the destination.
Very well known guide and a good support team of Outer world Safari. Thanks to manager Ariana

Wonderful Experience!
We had a great experience with Africa Big Cats Safaris. Everything was well organized, clear, and smooth from start to finish. The team was friendly, professional, and very attentive.
A special thank you to our guide, Mr. Venance, who was excellent. He was knowledgeable, patient, and always respectful of our preferences. He worked very hard to find the animals we wanted to see, and we were lucky enough to see so many amazing animals during our safari.
We were very satisfied with the whole experience and would definitely recommend Africa Big Cats Safaris!

You won't regret a trip with Wild Planet Safari!
Communication before the trip was always quick, efficient, and with thorough information.
The process of pick up, etc was very smooth.
We did a 3 day trip with them, staying in a rest camp in Kruger.
Our guide Eric was exceptional!! He was so knowledgeable, knew the best places to find animals, knew their behaviors so we saw things we would have missed without him. He is a great cook as well! Perfect tour guide!!!
You won't regret a trip with Wild Planet Safari! When you deal with them, you are dealing with the owners, so they take great care with every step.

Very knowledgeably, efficient, friendly and helpful
Our tour was fantastic with Jabiri, our guide. He made every effort to make sure we saw all the wildlife and sights we wanted to see including lion, buffalo, leopard, cheetah, hyena, elephants, giraffe and more. We even saw a rare black rhino. We particularly wanted to see the river crossings of the wildebeest and zebras. This we saw on four occasions! Jabiri was flexible with his plans to ensure we had the best experience possible. All our accommodation was very good, friendly staff, comfortable and good food. Lionking were patient and helpful with the planning process. We would certainly recommend using them

Absolutely best Safari company!
I'm not usually the one who writes reviews, but Tanzania Roadside Expeditions earned this one.
We picked Tanzania Roadside Expeditions for our 11 day trip to Kenya and Tanzania, because they were a local company, and that turned out to be the best decision. There was no middlemen, and no miscommunication — just people who know their own country and genuinely care about doing it right.
They delivered everything they promised. The stays, the comfortable transfers, even the minute detail across Kenya and Tanzania went exactly as planned, with zero hiccups. That kind of reliability is hard to appreciate until you're on the other side of the world trusting someone with your whole trip.
The owner, Paul, and our guides - James and Steven are the real deal. They clearly knew their stuff — sharp, calm, and great at getting us into the right place at the right time. We saw the Mara river crossing up close two days in a row and all of the Big 5, and that doesn't happen without guides who know what they are doing.
What we liked most is that it never felt like a packaged tour. It felt personal — like we were being looked after by friends. By the end, we'd honestly gained a new African family away from home.
If you're planning a safari in East Africa, book with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions. You won't regret it.

This was truly one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives.
This was truly one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives.
From the very beginning, we were incredibly well looked after, and the team made several adjustments to ensure we had the utmost comfort throughout the experience.
Our guide was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate, explaining everything about the parks, the animals we encountered, and the surrounding environment.
Everything was perfectly organized, and we felt supported and cared for throughout the entire safari. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari in Tanzania!

Excellent client servicing from the inquiry phase to the very end.
Great attitude, they’ll go out of their way to make sure you get the best experience.
I did the maasai mara safari and they were eager to show us everything, they made sure we’re comfortable and everyone had an opportunity to photograph the animals & enjoy themselves.
Thank you very much to the entire team.
Maurine for handling the booking process and the logistics. And Both Ben & Laso our guides for the great experience!

Overall, very average. Lacking atmosphere and not comfortable.
Rather expensive for what felt like a very average experience. Accommodation was as expected and quite nice. Food was also ok, nothing special.
Vehicle very old, rattly and not very comfortable. One of the oldest we saw. Which was a shame given how long you spend it it every day.
The driver was similar to an Uber driver, hard to communicate in English and lacking detail or any excitement at all. Gave up asking any questions.
The overall experience felt disappointing and lacking given the mid to high range price. Recommend keeping options open.

The trip of a lifetime
Our safari trip to Kenya was one of the best experiences we have ever had! We loved every second of our trip, fell in love with Kenya and its beautiful nature, and learned so, so much thanks to our amazing tour guide, Peter!
Beyond the Plains were so helpful from our initial email, throughout our trip, and right until the very end. They answered all of our questions, tailored the perfect trip for us, and made sure we got our dream safari experience. Special thanks to Maurine for all her help planning the trip, and to our guide, Peter, for making sure we had an amazing experience.
We did a 5-night, 6-day safari and visited Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha, and Maasai Mara National Reserve. Our three different accommodations were clean, comfortable, and lovely, with great service and food. We especially recommend staying in a tented camp, as it truly gives you the full experience of being surrounded by nature.
Top tip: The distances between the parks can be quite long (5–6 hours), so definitely consider travelling by small plane to save time. Bring plenty of snacks, both for the drives between parks and for the game drives, as you will be out for long hours.
Thank you, Beyond the Plains, Maurine, and Peter, for the best time! We can’t wait to be back! 🐘🦁❤️
