Extremely attentive and responsive service
We started planning our 10-day Tanzanian Safari around 18-months out. So after comparing lots of different tour operators, we selected Destiny Explorers.
We sent an initial enquiry to 3 different companies and the reply from Issa from Destiny Explorers was received first and was by far the most thorough.
After a couple more emails back and forth we started planning our custom itinerary. Issa was great with suggestions and always replied with updates or changes very quickly.
We felt very happy with our decision throughout the booking and payment process, but of course the most important part would be the tour itself.
Thankfully, the tour far exceeded our expectations. Tarimo was our guide and he knows Tanzania's Safari parks backwards. He get a hot tip about where something might be happening or even just a hunch based on past experience about where something could happen and 9 times out of 10 he delivered.
You'll read lots about how rough the roads are on the Safari trail and I can confirm that they are probably rougher than you could imagine, so you are going to want a smooth, considerate driver and Tarimo is both of these.
The accomodation that Issa selected throughout the tour was all of a high standard and the food was always tidy and plentiful.
It also goes without saying that the Wildlife experience was incredible. Multiple close encounters with lions and elephants and we also spotted 5 leopards and 4 rhinos on the tour. These are 2 of the toughest animals to spot, so 1 or 2 is usually good going but Tarimo kept putting us in the right place at the right time.
Overall, we were extremely happy with our decision to use Destiny Explorers and feel it was the perfect option for us.

An Excellent African Safari Experience! Our family had a wonderful time on this tour. We came away genuinely grateful for the experience and left our 10 day Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana tour feeling very happy and recharged.
Tatenda organised and planned the entire trip, and was our main point of contact throughout. His coordination and attention to detail made a real difference. The guides in the field were also exceptional. Brown, Delphista, Figo, Dintle, and Vusi were knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely caring. They made us feel welcomed and looked after throughout, which elevated the entire experience.
The landscapes were stunning. We loved Chobe and seeing all the elephants, and the scenic flight over the Okavango Delta was the highlight of our trip. Every moment exploring these incredible places was special. The tour coordination was excellent. The itinerary was well-planned, logistics ran smoothly, and communication via WhatsApp was quick and responsive. We felt genuinely taken care of from start to finish.

Amazing safari with Humphrey—knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and a fantastic guide!
We did a 4-day safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. Overall, the experience was great. Not only did we see the Big Five and lots of other animals, but our driver, Humphrey, was also very insightful, well-spoken, friendly, and funny. He shared a lot of details about the animals with us and was very open to answering any questions we had. We enjoyed the trip a lot and would definitely recommend it.

Amazing Experience - Okindo was a Champ!!!
It was an amazing experience especially as I travelled with my entire family - the boys love the experience.
Okindo was a super star, he was patient and loving around the kids, that help with the stress of travel with 3 young boys 😊.
As regards cost, I will advice you come along with USD cash for the agency so as to avoid the crazy bank charge of 2.5% and exchange different, that alone cost me more than $500 - crazily annoying - please speak to faith about this to get a better option, I didn't in my case.

Great experience
We had an unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania. Everything was very well organized, from the beginning to the end, and we were able to discover the incredible landscapes and wildlife of Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
A special mention to our guide Eli, who was kind, professional and very knowledgeable. He shared so much about the animals, the parks and Tanzanian culture, while always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment.

Panorama View tour
Had a great day following the panorama route with Rudzani. Great guy, very knowledgable and a great sense of humor. After 2 days of safari we left the hotel around 7 am, leaving Hazyview and going to Johannesburg. We visited 4 sites, God's window, Lisbon Falls, Bourke potholes and three Rondavels. Although the weather wasn't on our side and not everything had a good view because of the fog we managed to make a great day out of it. Thanks Rudzani, I had a wonderful experience!

Humphrey is the best tour guide ever! - Amazing safari experience!
It was an amazing safari! We saw all big five several times and the animals were super close like a few meters. We made awesome pictures and learned a lot about the environment, the animals, plants, culture and much more. We even saw two hunting scenes. Especially our tour guide Humphrey deserves 10 out of 5 stars! He has a huge knowledge, can answer every question, takes care of all travellers, he’s a safe driver and very professional as polite as funny. We enjoyed our 5 days trip with him a lot. A huge thank you to GOSHENNI for an absolutely perfect trip. I want to give a special recommendation to our driver and guide, Mr. Edward Massaki—he worked incredibly hard throughout the journey. He was unfailingly polite, kept the vehicle spotless, and was an exceptional driver who provided truly thoughtful service. When I developed a fever at the Melia, he went out of his way to consult a doctor about what I could and couldn't consume, in addition to managing our entire itinerary. Can you imagine witnessing the "Great Migration" river crossing three times in a single morning? He predicted exactly where the crossing would happen; we waited two hours, and sure enough, the entire herd of wildebeest crossed at that precise spot—it was truly magical. I am also grateful for Mr. Massaki’s wealth of knowledge; he shared so much with us along the way—insights into the wildlife, Africa, Tanzania, and local culture, language, and music. His expertise and perspective gave me so many new insights and made this trip truly extraordinary. I will cherish the memories of this wonderful journey.
