Once we arrived, we met our guide, Tumaini, whose kindness, dedication, and genuine effort to help us see as many animals as possible made our safari truly unforgettable. He gave us incredible days filled with memories that we will cherish forever.

Flawless organisation
Perpetua organised our three day trip to the Masai Mara flawlessly. Communication was excellent and she gave us a range of options to choose from to suit our itinerary and budget. The highlight of our trip was the long early morning game drive with Moses, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Zebra River camp was pleasant - not 5* luxury, but very nice - with good food. We appreciated Phine’s flexibility with our drop-off location at the end of the safari, taking us to Naivasha instead of Nairobi. Overall we had a positive experience with Phine Safaris and would recommend.

What an unforgettable safari experience in Amboseli! Our guide, Musa, was absolutely fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about wildlife. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience, helping us spot incredible animals and sharing fascinating insights along the way. His enthusiasm and attention to detail made the entire adventure even more special. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended!

Pleasant trip from Johannesburg to Kruger
Our tour used Safari Link to get us from Johannesburg to Kruger. Tiyani met us in our hotel lobby and walked us to the bus. He let us know the total trip time and approximate times for our two rest stops. Overall a great experience to get us to the park!

We had an absolutely fantastic trip to Tanzania and in large part because of Makasa! Not only do they partner with amazing lodges and camps, but all the people working for Makasa, from the drivers picking us up at the airport to our guides taking us on safari, were all TOP class! We were three brothers with our families (3 kids each!) and grandparents. We were all very happy with our guides who were really great with the kids. My youngest daughter forgot her teddy bear at Ngorongoro and Makasa somehow managed to get it back to us before we left the country. Amazing! We are indebted to them for life for that and the amazing trip and memories we're left with! Worth every penny!
