Amazing safari experience with Kapande, exactly what we were looking for!
We had an amazing 8-day safari with Kapande, traveling to three parks (Ruaha, Mikumi, & Nyerere). Communication with Kapande and Uwanda Tours was very easy and clear; we were picked up from our hotel in Iringa to start the safari. The accommodations throughout the week were all very nice, and everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. Kapande was the perfect safari guide; he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals and parks, and he communicated with other guides to make sure we saw plenty of animals.
Overall, it was a 10/10 week! Thank you Uwanda Tours and Kapande!

Amazing experience
We had an absolutely amazing safari experience in Uganda! From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organised, especially considering we were a group of around 20 people.
A special mention has to go to our guide and driver, Tom. He was fantastic — extremely knowledgeable, professional and, above all, so much fun to be around! He made the whole experience even more enjoyable. He always made sure we were in the right place at the right time and went the extra mile to make sure everyone had an unforgettable experience.
We were lucky enough to see so many incredible animals, including elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, and many more.
I would absolutely recommend this safari, and especially Tom, to anyone visiting Uganda. It was one of the highlights of our trip and an experience we will never forget! 🐘🦁🦒

A guide who went the extra mile
We spent three days on safari in the Masai Mara with Kush, and I’ll remember the wildlife for the rest of my life. But the moment that says the most about him happened after the safari was over.
On our way back, I mentioned that my mother in the Netherlands had been hoping I could bring her miswak sticks from Africa. After a six-hour drive, with Nairobi traffic building and the day getting late, Kush took us into the city to look for them. When we couldn’t find any, he parked and walked with me to a small market. We found the sticks there, and the lovely people at the stall even gave them to us for free. Kush also bought us goji and baobab berries to try as a gift.
That kindness was so characteristic of him. We didn’t always understand each other immediately, but I never had to ask twice to feel how much he cared. Throughout the safari, he was calm, thoughtful and attentive, and he made the whole experience feel personal. The animals were unforgettable, but so was Kush. Thank you for taking such good care of us. Five stars for Kush and JungleRoam!

Very nicely organized trip to Maasai mara
Lucy at Alkebulan went out of her way to ensure that I had a good trip to visit Maasai Mara. shame this week gave me a range of choices for places to stay overnight., and I was quite happy with the lodge that we chose - the Masa Serena, which I highly recommend for its proximity to the park, good service, and beautiful rooms noted into the cliffs overlooking the park!
Lucy also made herself available to troubleshoot when small issues came up along the way, and recognizing that I was foreigner in East Africa, for the first time, she ensure that there were cars/drivers to pick me up and bring me to my hotel on all ends of my trip. She was also very helpful in identifying a few additional hotels during my stay and negotiating a good price at those hotels.
Overall, I had a very positive Alkebulan!

We had a fantastic time on the tour
We had a fantastic time on the tour and came away with some unforgettable memories. A big part of what made the experience so special was our guide, David Mnyama. His knowledge of the reserves was impressive, and he seemed to know exactly where to go and where to look.
We were able to see everything we had hoped for and got some amazing photos, including some incredible close-up sightings. It was clear that David’s experience and knowledge made a real difference throughout the trip.
