Interesting and fun experience
Booking the Safari with “Somewhere in Africa” was very easy and fast.
The person in charge of the bookings made sure we had plenty of offers to choose from, each their unique value.
Once booked they informed us with plenty details so we did not have to worry about any logistics.
The flights were booked with a good flight operator (the one’s in Tanzania aren’t all very good, nor reliable), like this we did not have to worry about flight delays or any cancellations.
The Safari itself was completely private and very comfortable.
Our driver “Charles” had some interesting stories about the culture and the animals.
He did his very best to find all the animals we were looking for and gave us the absolute best value for our money.
We are very happy with the overall communication, logistics and experience “Somewhere in Africa” provided for us.

An Unforgettable and Wonderful Safari
We just returned from our 7-day safari in Tanzania (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Central and Northern Serengeti), and had an unforgettable experience. we highly recommend our agent—KLA Adventures and our guide Ziggy. From the very first email to the final farewell, everything was handled with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care.
The pre-trip communication was smooth and prompt. Every question was answered timely, and they satisfied almost all our requests and preferences.
We compared several agents before booking, and their quote was not only reasonable but offered exceptional value for the level of service provided. There were no hidden costs, no surprises — just honest, transparent pricing.
Our guide Ziggy was the highlight of the trip. He was passionate, knowledgeable, and endlessly patient. He offered expert advice whenever we asked, but always respected our decisions. His eyes were astonishingly sharp; he spotted animals we would have completely missed. More than that, he knew each animal’s behavior and shared a lot of interesting facts throughout the journey.
What truly set him apart was his deep respect for the animals. During river crossings, he didn’t just race to get close. He positioned us carefully, ensuring we had the best possible view without disturbing the animals. He understood animal movement patterns and often predicted where they would go, so even if we weren’t the first vehicle to arrive, we frequently ended up with the best position.
He also taught us the meaning of pole pole — slowly, slowly. Instead of snapping a photo and rushing off, he encouraged us to linger, to watch, to wait. And because we stayed longer, we witnessed so much more. Yet he always checked with us asking if we were ready to move on or wanted more time. That balance of patience and respect for our wishes made every game drive feel personal and unhurried.
This was a trip once of my lifetime, and it exceeded every expectation. If you’re looking for an agent that combines professionalism, fair pricing, and a guide who literally cares about both his guests and the wildlife, look no further. We are already dreaming of our next safari with KLA and Ziggy.

Great safari trip, Anne gave great support and Gerald is an excellent guide.
We had a wonderful safari experience arranged by Nkollo Tours & Safaris. Anne was super helpful and always replied promptly whenever we had questions or adjustments to our itinerary. Our guide Gerald was fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly. The driver was professional and punctual. The whole trip was well-organized and smooth, even when we met unexpected issues like lost luggage. Highly recommend this company for your Tanzania trip!

The 10-day safari trip was perfectly organized according to our wishes.
We had picked out 5 different providers. Akondo responded to our email inquiry the fastest. The staff member also quickly addressed our requests to change the tour and made the changes accordingly.

We also saw the "Big 5" and even the "ugliest animals in Africa😉" .
It was a fantastic trip for us, also thanks to our driver Richard and the interpreter Dahuti.
The accommodations and the food were perfect as well.

Amazing experience - highly recommended!
We had a truly lovely experience from the very first moment we got in touch with the tour operators. From the warm welcome and greeting to the professionalism of our driver and tour guide, Steve, everything was excellent.
Steve made our experience unforgettable. He was incredibly kind, polite, and knowledgeable. He shared so much interesting information about Kenya, its people, culture, and everyday life. He also made a great effort to ensure that we saw as many animals as possible, which made the safari even more special.
All in all, we were extremely satisfied with the entire experience and would highly recommend this tour. Thank you to the whole team, and especially to Steve, for making our trip so memorable!

The most amazing experience in my life!
This experience was totally worth the price! I wasn’t expecting such a high level of service: all the hotels were lovely and comfortable, the food was delicious, and everything was smoothly organized!
Suricata Safaris provides transfers to and from the airport, a comfortable Land Rover with chargers and plenty of cold water inside, as well as accommodation before, during, and after the safari if you need it.
And I’m especially thankful to our driver, Lewis, who knows everything about wild animals and nature, knows how to find them, and tells you interesting stories about them in perfect English. He is also a very good driver and a really nice person!

Amazing safari experience with Toilo tours
Tolio Tours was amazing! From the moment I contacted them for a quote, Julius was incredibly responsible, accommodating, and helpful. There were three of us arriving on different flights and at different times, and he adjusted the schedule to make everything work perfectly.
From the airport pickup to all of our activities, everything was extremely well coordinated. The food was also amazing—delicious, homemade, and plentiful. It honestly made me feel right at home.
Golden, our guide, was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience and saw as many animals as possible.
Julius constantly checked on us and even brought us Tanzanian phone chargers and a Wi-Fi device so we could stay connected.
Overall, I highly recommend Tolio Tours. They made our trip stress-free, comfortable, and truly unforgettable. I would definitely book with them again!

Suricata Safaris where the perfect partner for our Safari, friendly and welcoming
First of all our guide Lewis was fabulous, great knowledge of the animals and locations. The jeep was comfortable with each person having a window seat and plenty of cold water provided each. We stayed in two lodges which were brilliant, all the services you need and very comfortable and the middle was posh tented in the Serengeti with will stay with us forever.
