Fantastic and unforgettable experience
Since we arrived at Nairobi, everything has been prepared. All of them r very friendly and knowledgeable. Our driver is the most experienced and reliable and also friendly. He had over 30 years experience, and he bring us to find lots of animals. Moreover, he is not only tell us about animals, also lots of local life style. Before our trip, I got in touch with three different tour operators on Safaribooking. Camptrek Safaris responded the fastest out of all of them. I must give a special shout‑out to Margaret. Even with the time‑zone difference, she replied to me really promptly, and she even has WeChat. Margaret adjusted our itinerary according to my preferences and budget, and briefed us on all travel arrangements well ahead of time. The operator was extremely reliable for the whole trip. All pick‑ups, transfers and game drives took place exactly as planned.Before the safari started, she even gave my friend and me each a custom‑printed mug with our names on it, which really touched us.
Our guide Robert was very experienced. He gave detailed briefings on wildlife and had wide‑ranging local contacts across the African savanna, which helped us locate the Big Five. He manoeuvred the vehicle into perfect positions for wildlife viewing and photos. Robert was a great driver. The savanna is full of deep potholes and the roads are incredibly bumpy, but he slowed down and tried his best to steer clear of those holes for us. The safari vehicle was comfortable and clean, and plenty of drinking water was provided in the back seats. One minor point: Robert’s photography skills could be better. Total straight‑guy aesthetic, hahaha.
When it comes to value for money, we thought the price was reasonable for a private custom‑built safari. The recommended accommodations fit our budget, and every service stated in the contract was provided in full, with zero hidden charges.
This trip was truly unforgettable. While travelling, we heard bad experiences from other Chinese tourists regarding unreliable tour agencies. Some landed in Nairobi with no one to meet them, and there were even cases of operators disappearing entirely. If you are planning an East Africa safari and want a dependable operator with transparent communication and high‑quality service, Camptrek Safaris is strongly recommended. We would definitely book with them again and recommend them to other travellers.

Excellent care from start to finish
We booked a joining safari for 4 days and it was amazing. The combination of 2 days Serengeti, and one day Tarangire and Ngorongoro was the perfect fit for us. This way we completed the Big Five pretty easily.
The Porcupine organization was really caring and made us feel like family. We received meals in Arusha on the day of arrival and day of departure for free and even the transport to the airport. Also we didn’t have to bother buying water because it was also cared for.
Choosing Porcupine was a very good choice and we would recommend. Also our driver Alan and cook Fedastian on the Safari did a really good job!

Responsible and enthusiastic
Our trip was hosted by them. The service staff from beginning to end is good, and the itinerary is arranged. Although the delay of the plane in Sangdao caused trouble in the itinerary. However, the docking personnel of the tour group still helped to handle it, so that we could complete the whole trip smoothly. I'm not very good at English myself. I actively connect with the travel agency guide through translation software, and the other party will also try to understand what you mean. And make the final itinerary confirmation. So next time I travel again, I will still choose them again.
