Patient pre‑trip planning, excellent guide
The team was thoughtful and patient during our pre‑trip communication when planning our safari itinerary. Our guide was absolutely fantastic — we managed to see all the animals we hoped to spot, and he adjusted our schedule according to our requests. The price is reasonable.
Just a heads-up: be mentally prepared for possible power cuts when staying inside the Serengeti camps. Facilities there are limited, which is something we cannot avoid.

An Unforgettable 6-Day, 5-Night Safari with Top Selected – Highly Recommended!
My girlfriend and I went on a safari with Top Selected during the Chinese National Day holiday. We spent 6 days and 5 nights there. The owner, Jackson, gave us great advice on the itinerary and met all our requests; we were able to stay at the hotels we wanted. Our guide, Baraka, was very enthusiastic and professional, and he was great at keeping the atmosphere lively. He took us to see a huge number of animals in the Serengeti, and his service was excellent. Overall, it was a truly rare and unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Top Selected.

Fantastic trip - book Sheldrick tickets ahead
This was an excellent tour! Ernest was a great driver and guide! He’s really great at spotting birds we’d never have noticed as well as showing us bigger animals too! However it was not clear from the tour language that you need to get Sheldrick tickets in advance. I would recommend buying the national park pass ahead of time, it was a pain to do in line. And with Sheldrick you need to reserve tickets at least 2 days in advance, which we didn’t know. Luckily Ernest still got us in which was much appreciated! Giraffe tickets are no problem to get day of. Overall amazing tour! Just get national park and Sheldrick tickets in advance and you’ll have a smooth day! A fabulous way to spend a day in Nairobi!

Extraordinarily service and solution-oriented mindset
Aslam was a positive and very friendly safari guide throughout our five days. He was great at answering our various question, providing us further interesting detail and navigating to spectacular scenes within the Serengeti national park. Our group as all consider us very lucky to have gotten him as our safari guide.
We did unfortunately have some bad luck with our car, including some minor unexpected stops, a wielding job, a tire switch, and eventually onn day four we had to switch car entirely. It was through all these unfortunate circumstances with our vehicle that Aslam always stayed positive and priorised our best.
For anyone considering doing a tour with this agency I can highly recommend them. Communication was always clear, timely and friendly, and overall our safari was indeed unforgettable. some things to consider bringing however are: masks (it is extremely dusty on the roads), some vehicle courtain against the sun, a good camera (for obvious reasons), and wipes (against the dust). Also, try to get a better car than we had.

Rishen is very responsive and answers all our queries before booking the tour, before we embark on our adventure and continue to do so to ensure our seamless logistics on the ground. Our host at Dumela Lodge — Letle did a fantastic job looking after us during our stay and organising our fun-filled activities. We are very blessed to be served by MoAfrika Tours and brought home wonderful memories of our trip. Highly recommended for their professionalism as tour specialists.

Jocky tours and Safaris worked with us to create a safari itinerary that perfectly fit our safari experience requests. Moreen reworked our itinerary more than once to fit our requests
We finally settled on a 6 days safari which included Masai Mara , lake Nakuru and, Amboseli national park .
Francis was with us for our entire safari, staying at the bush with us.
He took us to different areas each day, and we were in the vehicle all day looking at God’s beautiful creation. Amazing up-close and personal views of animals that we only see in a zoo .Putting his years of tour guiding experience to work, Francis would expertly place our vehicle right in the path of lions, cheetahs, zebras, elephants, and even more animals. These animals would walk right in front of our parked vehicle and practically pose for photos. I know I keep saying amazing, but it truly was AMAZING! The other guides knew and respected Francis , as they would share information along the way about animal locations.
I would be remiss if I failed to brag on the accommodations, which exactly fit our requests. Our tents were truly nice in Masai mara lenchada camp ,The shower in buraha zenoni resort in Nakuru had better water pressure than ours at home, and the room was so comfortable. The king sized bed was heavenly! We slept so well. The food was top-notch, every single meal. We were so spoiled! There were no fences to keep animals out, but we felt safe. The animals really don’t want to mess with humans. However, it was cool to hear them nearby. I felt safe, and I didn’t expect to.
Our day in Masai Mara was pure magic! It felt like Noah had emptied the ark right there in that place. Everywhere we looked, we saw beauty and God’s majesty. We saw large groups of animals living side by side, zebras, baboons, elephants, gazelles, lions, rhinos in lake Nakuru , hippos, etc. What a safari ! Imagine our joy as we watched 3 mother lionesses walk right in front of us with their cubs! We could not have scripted a better day looking at animals. It was like Francis knew our safari checklist, and he fulfilled it.
I highly recommend Jocky tours and Safaris and more if you request for Francis to be your safari guide . You won’t regret going with an experienced company that knows how to make the most of your safari dollars.

We booked 9 months in advance directly with Juma. After my first contact by email he immediately gave me a call back by WhatsApp and we could clarify details of our planned trip. His English is perfect and he is always reachable by phone, email or WhatsApp. We arranged a perfect individual safari trip. There is no need to book a standard package (but you could), you will get exactly what you need or want. Price is much better than when you book from a agency in Germany where we live. I have booked intentionally from a local Tanzanian agency. Safe payment options available. The safari itself was amazing. We had a German speaking guide. 24 year old Juma (the guide, not the operator :)…) has shown us all wildlife and gave us a lot of insight about life in Tanzania. He was supported by our driver Julius who was fluent in English and even spoke some Italian. Julius was a very safe driver, we didn’t have any dangerous situation at all. Both were spotting precisely the animals in the wilderness which we would never have found without their experience. Vehicle was in excellent shape. We have been two guests only on a private tour. For lunch we always had a picnic in the parks and they offered even beer and wine (red/white) which was a pleasant extra. We have seen Tarangire, Ngorongoro crater and Lake Manyara Park. Unfortunately our flight to Zanzibar was cancelled by the airline the night before what would have destroyed the rest of our trip. Juma (the operator) did an amazing job by getting new flights for us over night for a good price. They flights he booked where shown to us as sold out, but somehow he managed to get us into this plane. Never had such an amazing support ever! We will come back for the Serengeti somewhen.
