Incredible Botswana wildlife with Safari Lifestyles
5/5

I wanted to firstly just say that this has to be one of the best vacations we have ever had.... Botswana is simply beautiful and we had an incredible wildlife safari.

Initially it was a difficult choice between Tanzania and Botswana but we could not have made a better choice.

We came across Safari Lifestyles though a friend and they were amazingly helpful and very quick to respond. They have photographer who showed us his images of the wildlife from the places we wanted to go and his advice was the reason we chose Botswana.

Thanks to Roger and the team for an incredible memory!!... 10 nights in lodges without too much rushing around. We want now come back in a different season to experiences the differences in the country.

Highly recommend Safari Lifestyles

Amazing Experience
5/5

I would like to start by saying this is the second trip we have booked through Cuan at African Ubuntu Safaris and I wouldn't use anyone else. I am a photographer and only had a short period of time available on this trip to Africa. My main focus was to photograph Sudan (the last remaining male Northern White Rhino). Cuan designed the perfect trip to meet and exceed all my expectations. Our trip through Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Samburu was amazing. The thing I love about Africa is that no matter where you travel there is always something new to see and experience. From the moment we stepped off the plane in Nairobi to the time we sadly had to leave a few weeks later, we were made to feel like family by all our guides.

We arrived in Nanyuki and were met by our guides Nicholas and Mitiko and our adventure began. We drove a short distance to reach the entrance to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Once all the formalities were finalised we began our first game drive on our way to the Porini Rhino Camp. We arrived in camp and received a warm welcome from David the camp manager. We were the only ones staying in camp as it turns out for the next two days, so definitely received royal treatment. The food was amazing and we definitely put weight on whilst away :-) and our tent looked out over the waterhole, where we sat and watched Buffalo, Zebra and Antelope each day. We had a bit of wet weather, but it never really interfered with our animal viewing. The highlight was definitely meeting Sudan, Fatu and Najin (last three remaining northern white rhino) but we also loved watching the black rhino and southern white rhino out on the plains. We came to the last day of our stay in Ol Pejeta and Nicholas and Mitiiko dropped us at the grass airstrip to catch our next plane to Samburu. When a 4 seater Cesna landed my heart dropped to my feet, but William the pilot soon made me feel as ease. Although I never let go of the door for the entire trip :-)

We arrived in Samburu and were greeted by Julius and was taken to the Elephant Bedroom Camp. This camp is just stunning and spent the next few days with what I can only describe as one of the best guides I have ever met. Julius would ask me each morning what I wanted to photograph and would find it. Cant ask for much more than that. His knowledge was unbelievable. I loved everything about Samburu, again it was different to all other places I had previously been to in Africa. The elephant bedroom camp is definitely a great camp and I would stay here again in a heart beat. The wildlife could be found all around you, including the in the bathroom tent where I looked up and there was a bat starring back at me.

We got to see so many babies on this trip, baby lion, elephant, oryx, antelope, zebra and list goes on as well as some gorgeous juvenile cheetahs and leopard.

Cuan, thank you so much for organising such great trip. 10/10, you are still the only travel agent I have ever come across that has such good customer service and knowledge of their destination.

We will be in contact when it is time for our next big adventure.

First Visit to Game Reserve
5/5

After visiting SA for several years we decided that it was time for a game drive. We booked Lion's Valley through Safari Bookings dealing with Vanessa. Vanessa sourced the right setting and cost for our requirements. She was attentive and knowledgeable and I would recommend this company wholeheartedly. Would definately use this company again, all went according to plan.

A wonderful, customized safari experience!
5/5

My husband and I had a fabulous experience with Grassroots Safaris. We did a three day trip to Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Many other safari companies would not do that combo in just three days because of the long drive, but Grassroots gladly accommodated our wishes. They were very helpful during the planning process and always quick to respond to my emails. The safari itself was incredible! We saw the Big 5 in just two short days in the parks. We lucked out and ended up with two guides, which was awesome. Both were very knowledgeable, personable, and professional. They somehow avoided most of the crowds and still found some truly amazing sites. I would certainly recommend Grassroots Safaris and hope I have the opportunity to use them again in the future!

Excellent tailored holliday.

No problems at all during our hollyday in Tanzania and Zanzibar. We were met by friendly staff and cared for at all times by Tanzania Explorer staff. Great stay at Saadani Safari Lodge and several hotels in Zanzibar.
Very well planned vacation.

5 days safari
5/5

For a first timer going on an African Safari the number of safari tour companies to choose from can be intimidating and we are glad that we that chose Kenya real tours and safaris for this. We chose kenya real tours and safaris as they had good feedback on TA as well as reasonable rates. They were extremely professional to deal with, with prompt email responses to several of our questions.

We chose the land cruiser option for our 5 day/4 nights safari, Our guide, was extremely professional and experienced. They picked us up from Jomo Kenyatta International and dropped us off on time for our flight as well. We stayed at Ol Tukai, Sopa and Sarova game Lodges during this period, which were all excellent choices. During our entire safari period we got to see all the big five in addition to countless other wildlife and extremely scenic vistas. The highlight of our experience was a rhino that came out of the bush in the Mara and crossed right in front of our land-cruiser. We were the only vehicle in the area when this happened, and after speaking with local staff at the game camp later found that this was extremely rare since the rhino population is very sparse (Only about 20 or so rhinos in the entire Mara)and also they are extremely shy creatures. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have seen all the big 5 on our very first African safari. Would highly recommend kenya real tours and safaris for your safari experience.

Hell's Gate - an welcomed adventure!
5/5

Hell's Gate is raw and exciting! Our guide James knew all we needed to know about what to see, how to best get there. We hiked, walked, and rode bikes. James was with us but was not over powering. He let us wander and experince Hell's Gate. In short we never wanted for anything.
