Their dedication was evident from the start—when we didn’t see the wildebeest migration crossing the river on the first day, they woke us up at 5 AM the next morning to ensure we didn’t miss this breathtaking spectacle. Their deep knowledge of wildlife enriched every moment; Aziz passionately explained animal behaviors and led us to hidden gems like lion dens and hippo pools. One of the most magical moments was witnessing over a hundred lion cubs waking up—an awe-inspiring sight I’ll never forget.
The accommodations arranged by William were equally outstanding. Mara Mara Lodge, in particular, felt like a home away from home, with delicious meals and warm hospitality. William’s team goes above and beyond to cater to Chinese travelers, ensuring seamless communication and cultural consideration. Simply Amazing Wildlife, scenery, people, and experience!
This is our first time in Safari and my friend and I (two girls) went on 10 days Safari from Kenya to Tanzania with Mama Savana, and then ended the tour in Tanzania Arusha to fly off to Zanzibar ourselves.
The stays were all wonderful and high praises for all our tour guides from Kenya and Tanzania as they were amazing, well experienced, super good drivers (we thoroughly experienced African Massage while we were in the jeeps), and have such incredible eyes to spot animals! There were multiple times when they pointed to animals that we didn't notice, but thanks to that, we were able to catch all the big 5 & big cats + their babies, all of the antelope family, hyenas, jackals, and wart hogs (the list goes on) hidden or approaching from super far away, many eventually got close enough for some clear pictures through our phones.
Our Kenya tour guide, Amani, was just pure fun to be with, and knew the animals and area very well. He told us many fun facts about animals and we learned a lot while we were touring. He was also very dedicated for us to see the most of everything, and we managed to catch all big 5 and cheetahs while we were in Kenya! Our car once got stuck in a mud pit and Amani along with fellow tour guides in Maasai Mara worked as a team and got us out, me and my friend were not worried one bit since we knew they would be able to handle it (to be honest it was quite fun to watch).
Our Tanzania tour guide Abu (and Paul for the last day) was very knowledgeable too, and explained animal behaviors and migration patterns to us. He was very nice and patient throughout the trip,
This trip was purely incredible and many thanks to Mama Savana for bringing this amazing experience to us and taking care of us so well! I hope we could go to Kenya and Tanzania again soon since I am already missing it very much.

That is amazing tour operator！
The driver is very friendly and will make an effort to search for animals on the way, while explaining to us the habits and characteristics of the animals we see. The vehicle is also very clean, and the seats are very comfortable.

The guide exceeded my expectations
Incredible experience in Uganda and i think 90% of that was due to Julius the guide for the trip. I think he knows half of Uganda and the other half he's getting to know. He went beyond his role and taught me so much about the local cultures, the numerous languages (over 50 i think) and even taught me several phrases in Luganda (the most widely spoken language in Uganda). The safaris, chimps and gorillas were incredible and the boat trips and accommodation were all very nice too.

Shipungo delivered the safari of a lifetime - wildlife, bush luxury & wow moments
We’ve just returned from an unforgettable 4-night safari through Moremi, Khwai, and Savuti — and it was nothing short of spectacular.
Our guide, Kem, was phenomenal. Thanks to his expertise, we saw an incredible array of wildlife: lions (lots of them!), four cheetahs, leopards, several hyenas with their adorable cubs – one cub even inspected our car (magical!), zebras, impalas.. Elephants were everywhere — majestic herds crossing rivers, mothers guiding their calves, and lone bulls silently moving through the mopane woodland. Every moment felt like a scene from a wildlife documentary — only better, because we were living it!
Kem wasn’t just a brilliant guide; he was also a masterful driver. He even rescued other vehicles stuck in deep sand — once while lions watched from just meters away! It was reassuring to have someone so calm and capable at the wheel.
The rest of the team — Shine, KT, and OJ — were equally impressive. They set up our camp at all three locations, served delicious meals, and catered to our dietary needs flawlessly. Everything ran smoothly, and their warm hospitality made the experience even more special.
A big thank you to Mark, who planned the entire trip with great care and patience, answering all my many questions along the way. He also arranged our travel from
Gaborone to Maun, including a fantastic driver, Emmax, who was not only reliable but also great company.
Pro tip: If you're planning to travel from Savuti to Kasane by road, be aware that the route is extremely sandy and rough. It’s a long, bumpy ride — not ideal if you have back issues. In that case, consider flying from Savuti to Kasane for a much smoother experience.
We had the time of our lives and will absolutely book with Shipungo Safari & Tours again. It’s the best value for money and an experience we’ll treasure forever. Highly recommended!

We had an incredible experience and would highly recommend this safari! Our 3-day trip was seamless from beginning to end — everything was so well organized. We were met at the airport right on time and transferred effortlessly to the safari starting point, exactly as planned.
Our guide, Nestroy, and our cook, Ram, were absolutely wonderful. The meals were delicious, varied, and full of flavor — you could tell a lot of care went into every dish. Nestroy was outstanding at spotting animals and made sure we didn’t miss any of the highlights. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and always happy to share insights or answer questions.
We felt safe, comfortable, and completely looked after the entire time. It was truly an unforgettable adventure — one we’ll cherish forever and happily recommend to anyone considering this safari!

Excellent service from booking to Safari
The level of service received from Sammah Wonders Safari was excellent, the information provided pre booking and the communication received ensured we achieved an enjoyable and trouble free booking/Safari.
On the day our guide (Tiko) looked after us really well, he was very informative about the National Park (Nyerere) we visited, he was able to full fill all our requirements with the animals seen and more. He was without a doubt a credit to Sammah Wonder Safaris, he was very professional and great fun to be in the company of - well done Tiki.

Very accommodating, nice people
Went for 3 day hike to Kilimanjaro. Great price and overall good experience. Only complaint is sleeping bag which did not keep you warm enough at night. Recommend buying your own because it is below freezing at night
