Reliable and professional
We booked a two-day safari with Major Treks. We communicated with them months in advance via WhatsApp and had a good rapport. We received a detailed quote and accepted the offer.
A month before our arrival, we received our domestic flight tickets from Zanzibar to the mainland.
Everything was perfectly arranged, and we had an unforgettable two days. The first day was spent in Tarangire National Park and the second day in the Ngorongoro Crater. It was amazing to experience, and we saw so many animals!
Keep in mind that you'll spend a lot of time driving to the parks, and at the Ngorongoro Crater, you'll think you've arrived, but then it's a 45-minute drive down into the crater.

I can’t thank Nancy enough for the support she has given me from the moment I sent the first email.
My husband and I had never been on safari before and really didn’t know where to start. We knew that we wanted to go to Kenya followed by a week on the beach in Zanzibar.
I had a few ideas about the camps that I thought might be right for us, and Nancy duly costed those.
She also suggested some other camps one of which, Offbeat N’doto, stood out to me.
I am SO grateful to Nancy for suggesting Offbeat.
In all my research here in the UK I hadn’t come across Offbeat. I will write a review in due course but honestly, our minds are still blown by the experience we had.
On arrival, it took nearly two hours for us to get through immigration at Jomo Kenyatta ( I believe this is not normally the case), so I was worried that may have an impact on our driver. I need not have been. Sam was waiting to take us to The Tamarind Tree for an overnight stay close to (Safarilink) Wilson airport.
Sam met us the following morning. We had a great chat with him, so knowledgeable and friendly.
Nancy also arranged the Zanzibar leg of our trip. We changed our mind about the resort that we booked to stay at and Nancy organised our preferred hotel.
Unfortunately, the direct flight from Wilson to Zanzibar got re-routed via Mombasa and so door to door, it took us as long to fly from Kenya to Zanzibar as it did from London to Kenya! Nothing that Nacy could do about that, but she was there for us immediately with the information and revised tickets.
The flight back from Zanzibar to Kenya also got pushed back. Once again, Nancy stepped in and was concerned about the potential to miss our connecting flight home to London. She arranged for us to take the first flight out of Zanzibar and booked a day room at The Crowne Plaza Nairobi Airport. I actually think we’ll consider doing this before all long flights home in the future.

A Helping Hand to the Top
My wife and I decided to summit Kilimanjaro, and selecting the right tour company was a significant consideration. We conducted extensive research across the internet, including social media platforms such as Facebook, eventually narrowing our options down to nine different companies. Comparing prices and offerings was a challenging process.

Our guide, Josh, demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise throughout the climb, playing a crucial role in our successful ascent to the summit. The meals provided by our cook, Bruno, were diverse and well-prepared, featuring dishes such as deep-dish pizza, hearty beef stews, fish and chips, and fresh salads.
From the outset of our journey, Mr. Moshi was present to ensure everything began smoothly, and upon completion, the team at GM Expeditions continued to offer support and personalized congratulations.

Julius was very helpful booking us the safari and also some bus tickets we needed. The safari was amazing and our guide Stephan was very good, helpful and had a fantastic sense to find the different animals.

They were highly knowledgeable, very accommodating, super friendly and highly recommended.
We had an amazing 5 day experience with this company. Samuel and Salim were nothing but super friendly, accommodating, and ahead asked us if we were okay. Samuel’s knowledge of what’s to find animals and which places to go was invaluable. We were also incredibly lucky - we saw lions, leopards, and cheetahs everyday in the Serengeti. We also saw the famous migration and that was just incredible. We also were INCREDIBLY LUCKY to see cheetah killing from start to finish and we got it all on video! I would go with them in a heart beat!! We had the w best group of people possible, it was hard to go our separate ways.

Above and beyond to give us the best experience
Our driver Maliaki and chef Yussef were amazing.
Mal was very knowledgeable about the Serengeti and Nogrongoro crater. He really went above and beyond to make sure we saw all the amazing animals on the safari and was very knowledgeable about all their different lifestyles and the ecosystems. 100% recommended this tour.
