We had a fantastic experience in Botwana. We stayed at three different camps and saw a wide variety of animals and birds by doing so. The number of animals we saw was amazing. All camps had great food and wonderful staff, especially the guides. All our travel arrangements went smoothly. The whole experience was more than we expected.

It was a great experience. Everything was well organised. We loved Tarangire with its elephants and baobabs, the great Serengeti with gnu crossing the Mara river, and Ngorongoro with the fight between lions and buffalo. In particular, we loved our stay in tented camps: absolutely to do! Our guide was excellent. Then we really appreciated the walking cultural safari in a village, meeting people, and the visit to the masai market.
The second week was in Zanzibar. Do not miss Stone Town.

All-round fantastic experience of South Africa
Timbuktu organised an ideal two week holiday for us. We did Safari, wine region and Cape Town. They listened to what we wanted and tailor made the perfect holiday for us. We felt it was incredibly good value and could not have been happier. We want to go back!

Excellent service with good value for money
We rented a Toyota RAV4 from Paul for a 20 day selfdrive-roadtrip through Uganda. At the beginning I contacted several rental agencies and compared prices. Paul gave me the best offer including camping equipment, Gorilla Permit orgaization, delivery to the airport and pick up from entebbe and navigation system.
Paul answered to every of our 1000 questions beforehand quickly and professional. Even during the road trip Paul was all the time available and helped us throughout the roadtrip.
The car was in good condition and did a great job during our 3000km drive.
One thing for improvement: the quality of the camping gear (tent was too small and the sleeping bags quite old and too warm)
All in all good value for money and I would book my car again from 4x4 uganda and would recommend it to any friend of mine going to Uganda.

My colleagues (all conservationists) went on safari in the north of Tanzania after a work trip.
We had a fantastic trip! It was the 'low budget' option, but felt far from it. The trip began and ended in Arusha at e-Trip Africa's guest house (wonderfully comfortable - felt like home). We toured Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and the Ngorogoro Crater - all beautiful and unique. We saw almost everything we wanted to see, and it was a great mix of exciting and relaxing - perfect for unwinding after a long work trip.

My overall experience was amazing.. just the way they treat you from when you call to when you actually go tour. Great customer service, great people. Can't wait to tour again next summer. Just a side note for anyone planning a tour, Kenya is such a beautiful country

A most memorable trip exceeding all expectations!
I travelled for the first time in my life to Africa. I used the services of Kate and Darren at Compass Odyssey based on the recommendation of a family member. I went to JoBurg, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Kruger, and Cape Town. Every single aspect of my trip went flawlessly. I was always met at the airports by a driver or a guide as soon as I got off the plane. The accommodations chosen were just great, activities planned in the cities were most interesting, and of course the safaris were spectacular. A big recommendation goes out for the Senalala Luxury Safari Resort in Kruger and also the Dinare Camp in Botswana. Wonderful accommodations and hosts made for a great stay, and some wonderful viewing of all of the animals. Dealing with Kate and Darren is a pure delight and you make your safari with the fullest confidence.
