good price-performance ratio
We really enjoyed the safari. The arrangement was easy and quick, friendly mail response. Just make sure, to pay the cash money in dollar to avoid trouble with the exchange rate. The tour guide Mike was great! He has big knowledge about the animals and landscape. You can really feel that he loves his job. The chef John also did a great job! He prepared delicious fish for dinner for us. It was just too bad that we stopped at a big souvenir shop on the way back. Would not have been necessary. The start of the safari was a little slow: getting lunch, water, gas etc. But maybe that is African style... All in all we were very happy that we booked this tour. Way cheaper than many other safari companies.

Excellent experience! Very recommendable! I would do it again with Avocet Safaris!
I booked 6 days safari in Tanzania (Lake-Manyara-National-Park, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire Park). Everything went according to the schedule.
We have visited all the parks and what is the most important, we saw the big five because our guide was very keen on it. He made us careful on a lot of animals and told us much about them.
I would book it any time again!

From the Serengeti to Zanzibar
Muksin Mushi is a thoroughly likeable and very capable guide. Our study tour (13 students and faculty) focused on the Tanzanian environment and the issue of sustainability. Muksin was attentive to the individual needs of our group members and was knowledgeable about many aspects of Tanzanian life. He is bilingual in English and Swahili and can explain local customs clearly and sensitively. Our varied itinerary included a safari to Ngorongoro and to the Serengeti National Park, a hike to Materuni Falls, visits to several small villages, an interview with the Anglican Bishop of Mara and visits to two church-related schools, an in-depth look at Zanzibar City, a beach outing, and a boat trip to Changuu Island. Throughout all this Muskin proved to be unflappable and judicious--but also fun to spend time with. I highly recommend him and Homeland Adventures.

Very good trip- wow belle aventure
We did 2 small budget safaris (3 days in Kenya and 4 days in Tanzania).
We saw the "Big Five" in Kenya and Tanzania, very kind and caring drivers / guides.
A memorable trip for my daughter and me, a perfect zootherapy ...
I recommend this company for those who want a cheap safaris, not too demanding on food and lodging ... the focus is on animals ...
Accommodation in Kenya was not luxurious but comfortable camping.
Accommodation in Tanzania was wild camping in the bush.
The food very ordinary and little varied.
Perfect for practicing your English or Swahili.
Have a nice trip!

excellent and memorable trip.
From being referred by a friend to being dropped off at the end, our trip was superbly organised by Chris and his team. Our guide, Joseph, was very friendly and was constantly checking that we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.
The trek to see the gorillas was superb and enough of a challenge for us to feel that we had earned the privilege of spending some time with them in their habitat.
If you are considering a gorilla trekking experience; Chris, Joseph and Co. are fantastic!

Moshi Tour, Zanzibar, and Tarangire Safari all with African Traits!
Godfrey had been highly recommended to me so I booked the Moshi tour with a friend and Godfrey along with our tour experience went above and beyond any of our expectations. Due to our amazing Moshi tour experience, I stuck with African Traits for all my other excursions, which was a week in Zanzibar, and a one day Tarangire Safari, both of which were amazing. African traits prices, stood out as being the most reasonable for what you receive, and the staff is knowledgeable, and very accommodating. Thank you Godfrey for the amazing experiences! Would highly recommend!

Marvelous
Alfahma Tours is one of the best company, first I requested a safari quotation and found that it was over my budget but they understand my situation and tailored for me Amboseli safari. It was perfect and I really enjoyed. The camp for my accommodation was great just beside the park and the view of mt.Kilimanjaro was seen just from my tent. I love Alfahma tours and hope to plan my safari again.

I would strongly recommend Roger and Safari Lifestyles
Safari Lifestyles organised our two week safari in the Okavango Delta, Botswana for my family of five from Sydney (April 2017, Jacana Camp, Machaba Camp, Kings Pool camp). I wanted an reputable operator that was locally based and had genuine/recent expert knowledge. I was also very nervous about sending money off to a foreign country over the internet. Roger Turski and Safari Lifestyles were very responsive by email at every turn. Roger was also available to speak with over Skype which was reassuring. In the end, the safari exceeded our wildest dreams. Three camps, all great but all different; a very well balanced trip. Seamless transfers, great guides. It is a challenging environment, so t was even more impressive how smoothly everything went. Roger has been to many of the camps himself, photographed them himself, and was clearly passionate about delivering a trip exceeded our wishes. The entire trip was prepaid with *everything* included as designed. I spent two weeks without any keys or wallet in my pockets which was a personal highlight of the trip. We opted to tip our guides and buy a few trinkets but that was it whilst we were on safari.

Karongwe River Lodge was an excellent choice, highly recommended.
We normally book our accommodation with lodges directly, we have been to almost all lodges in Kruger & Madikwe. We contacted Sally from Sabi Sands Reservations at ATC and we asked her to recommend a lodge that is different and somewhere we haven't been. Sally sent us a proposal for Karongwe River Lodge and I must admit, I didn't think much of the place as I haven't heard of it!
We were given all the information, location and the price of the lodge and as usual we did our research and found the lodge quite appealing. It even has great reviews on tripadvisor. Karongwe was everything wa hoped and more, luxury accommodation, big five game and great food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Karongwe and we highly recommend using the services of African Travel Consultants as sometimes you think you know everything until you find out otherwise. Thank you Sally for your service and your recommendation of Karongwe.
