Impeccable organization and coordination of the safari.
When planning a trip to Kenya, I chose Leopard Orchid Safaris out of 15 similar operators. Michael, the manager, offered us an ideal program at a really competitive price. During our month of communication before booking, he patiently, attentively and promptly answered all our questions and changes. He also personally met us at the airport. Even after the end of the Safari, Michael continued to stay in touch and helped us quickly solve the problem with moving around Kenya.
Our Game-driver on the safari Lawrence is a great professional who loves his job. In just 1.5 days in Masai Mara, he showed us all the animals that we really wanted to see, some moments were simply magical (for example, an elephant that appeared out of nowhere, 10 minutes after we asked Lawrence about elephants). Lawrence finally and irrevocably made us fall in love not only with the Safari but with Kenya in general.
In general, the entire Leopard Orchid Safaris team (we managed to meet other employees + the owners) are excellent professionals who are "on fire" with their work, adore their country and animals. And these, I believe, are the best conditions for an ideal Safari.

The best tour operator-Just book them!
From pre-planning to booking to arrival and start to finish, we could not have been more pleased with African Big Cats Safaris. My family of 5 traveled for a one week private safari through the Serengeti, the Ngorogoro Crater, Tarangire and Arusha National Park at the end for a hike, and the level of attention and detail and adventure was simply beyond our expectations. I cannot recommend this tour operator enough. Based in Tanzania they are aware of and plan for all the details that make a safari vacation memorable. So many people made our trip memorable, but special shout outs to Upendo who first fielded our inquiry, Naomi who arranged our trip, Emmanuel who was the site manager and last but not least, our spectacular and knowledgeable guide Gabriel. His fund of knowledge about the animals, the environment, Tanzania and general easy going company were unmatched. We felt very lucky to be matched with him and his expertise. THere are so many tour operators in Tanzania nowadays (tourism has become the biggest industry). I cannot endorse African Big Cats enough-they can customize to your needs and budget and preferences very easily. If you are thinking of Tanzania (which I highly recommend), do not hesitate to choose African Big Cats!

Amazing safari tour
My Tanzania safari was an unforgettable adventure, made truly exceptional by the incredible guide, Mr. Focus. His deep knowledge of wildlife, sharp spotting skills, and genuine passion for nature brought every game drive to life—whether I was watching lots of wildlife species such as zebras, wildebeests, hyenas,different types of Antelopes, elephants,giraffes and lions, spotting Flamingos, Hippos,Pelicans, Ostriches, Cranes, rhino and buffaloes in the Ngorongoro Crater, or witnessing the Great Migration in the Serengeti. Mr. Focus always ensured I was in the best position for wildlife viewing while sharing fascinating insights and keeping me safe and comfortable throughout. I especially loved our stays at different camp sites during the tour-each offering excellent service, tasted food and stunning views. Thanks to Mr. Focus and the amazing camps, this safari exceeded all expectations and left me with memories to last a lifetime.

Professional, and excellent organisation
I cannot speak highly enough of our guide Goodluck, everything from the first moment was perfectly organised. I dont know how he was able to drive, give information and spot animals at the same time. He is an experienced driver and always made sure we got the best spot when seeing animals. He was always on time, the jeep was always spotless clean and we had no issues during the tour. Goodluck is very knowledgeable of animals, especially birds, and we learnt a lot from him. We were a group of 13, and extremely happy with the way the tour went. Cannot recommend these guys enough.

A wonderful and life lasting experience!
I recently completed a 6D5N hike on the Machame Route of Mount Kilimanjaro, and it exceeded all my expectations. Our guides, Juna and Fredrick, were really friendly and helpful . They keep monitoring our physical condition and provided mental support, especially during the challenging summit day. The food was not only delicious but also surprisingly diverse, keeping us well-fueled throughout the journey. Overall, this is an unforgettable experience.

Agency
The agency was very available, always attentive and truly listened to our requests. They designed an itinerary perfectly adapted to our wishes while respecting our budget. All the necessary information was shared with us beforehand, and during the safari, the itinerary was followed to the letter. A promise kept!
Safari quality
The vehicle was very comfortable: having a mini-fridge on board was a real plus, as well as the presence of Wi-Fi. We also appreciated the thoughtful details such as the cushion and blanket provided.
The hotels were chosen with great care. Their locations, the quality of the welcome, and the comfort all exceeded our expectations.
As for the food, it was excellent throughout the safari: generous, varied, and always delicious. We never lacked anything.
The guide – Bashir
Bashir was perfect from start to finish. An experienced, cheerful, professional, and respectful guide, he truly made our journey unforgettable. As two young women, we felt completely safe with him by our side: his seriousness and attentiveness reassured us at every moment.
He shared with us his extensive knowledge of the savannah’s wildlife, and during the search for big cats, his commitment and determination truly impressed us. Special mention also for his great taste in music, which brought a wonderful atmosphere to our drives.

one of the best experiences of our lives and travels with the best guide ever - IDRISSA HASSANI
We would like to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible experience we had during our safari in Serengeti, all thanks to our exceptional guide, IDRISSA HASSANI. We have travelled to many places and had many guides over the years, but truly, none have ever compared to him.
The way he made this safari unforgettable for us is beyond words. We noticed other guides following each other’s tracks, but him? He created his own route — and because of that, we were able to witness moments we never thought possible. We saw cheetahs with their cubs, lionesses with their cubs, around seven lions in total, and two leopards. We also saw countless other animals in the most beautiful settings, and the best part? Most of the time, it was just us there.
He didn’t just make this safari feel exclusive for us — he also showed immense respect for the animals. His knowledge was truly impressive, any question we asked, he had the answer instantly and with complete confidence. His warmth and kindness touched our hearts, and his availability and attention to our needs were remarkable. What stood out most was his evident passion for safaris and wildlife — something you cannot fake and something that made the whole experience even more special.
I personally might not have the chance to do another safari in my lifetime, but my daughters are already eager to return. I know that a huge part of their excitement and enthusiasm to come back is thanks to him.
