My wife and I spent three very enjoyable weeks in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Tailormade Africa made all of the arrangements in and everything worked out well. Organized, helpful & chill
The flight transfers and meet-ups all went smoothly. The staff were very friendly and helped me buy a phone card quickly. The meals cooked by the chef traveling with the vehicle exceeded expectations—they were heartfelt home-cooked dishes.
I got to see all the animals. Although I didn’t witness any hunting scenes, I saw the large-scale migration of wildebeests, lions passing by at close range, and the thrilling moment when a rhinoceros chased the car.
We also took an extra boat trip on Lake Naivasha. The unique scenery there makes it well worth a visit.
I booked a Budget Safari. The accommodation conditions in Masai Mara were indeed very poor—only cold water for showers and dim lighting. When we arrived in Nakuru, we stayed in a small house, but unfortunately, the power went out as soon as we checked in and didn’t come back on even when we checked out the next day. I have no complaints, but it was a bit amusing yet frustrating.

He also introduced us to the Maasai people’s way of life, along with stories from other African countries. The group of fellow travelers I met on this trip came from all over the world, and our conversations made the journey even more rewarding. This trip was not only a feast for the eyes but also an enriching cultural and historical experience.

The tour was fantastic. We see a LOT of animals, truck was always clean and now let’s talk about the most important person in our trip. The guide ! DAVID was more than a guide. He was our historian, our mechanic, our helper, our protector and he was the reason why we will give a note of 11/10 to classic journeys. All Buisness have truck and go in the same parc or reserve but you cannot choose your guide at the first time. Please ask to have David if you travel with classic journeys you’ll not be disappointed.
