Very good safari, with a trustworthy and helpful company, for a good price.
5/5

We had a 4 days/3 nights safari to Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater in the beginning of July 2014.

I found Northern Circuit Adventure on safaribookings.com, and after reading the reviews, I contacted Michael in the company. We had a very good contact, and he responded all my questions and offered me safari options afters my preferences. We booked a safari, and did a payment over internet to confirm the booking. This was easy and safe. When I arrived Tanzania and Arusha with my wife, we were picked up at the airport and brought to the office where we met Michael (director in Northern Circuit Adventure). We did the last payment there. In the night we slept in a hotel included in the safari.

Michael was also very helpful when our luggage didn’t arrive with our plane. We put him as a reference for the luggage, and he contacted the airway company, and made sure we received our luggage the next day. Very grateful for this!

On our safari we were 5 person, with one guide/driver and a chef. We drove to lake manyara the first day. The second day we drove to Serengeti, the third day we had a morning drive in Serengeti before going to Ngorongoro crater, we entered the crater the next morning.

The first night we were surprised with a stay in a beautiful lounge. This was not a part of the description of the safari. The other nights we slept in tents, that was also very nice, and we liked the experience very much, as we felt we got closer to the nature. All campsites had showers and toilets. The chef prepared the meals. And they were all incredible!! We don’t know how he managed to prepare all that delicious food! (I normally get a bad stomach when traveling to other continents, but not this time!)

And finally about the safari: Lake manyara was beautiful with it’s many birds and also a lot of animals. Serengeti was amazing. To go from one park to the next will take some hours driving, but it is just to sit back and relax, and enjoy the view. Also remember to enjoy the view of the nature while not seeing animals. The animals will come, but in the meanwhile, the nature and the landscape deserve to be enjoyed. The last day we visited the crater. Without doubt the best day for seeing animals. In the end we saw a lot of lions, zebras, gnus, hippos, elephants, giraffes, we also saw a leopard and buffalos. We were unlucky to not see the rhino – but that is how safari is, sometimes you see animals, sometimes they hide. But in the end we had seen a lot. Very satisfied with the tour, and the guide was excellent when he brought us to the animals.

After the safari Michael drove us to the airport in Arusha. Very good service.

Northern Circuit Adventure is a company I really can recommend. The company with Micheal in charge is trustworthy and helpful and they will at all-time provide the best service possible. The safari was amazing, and there is no reason for choosing others more expensive companies, because you will have an amazing, incredible and unforgettable safari with Northern Circuit adventure. And this you receive for a good price.

Lifetime Experience
5/5

My wife and I, mid sixties, have done a wonderful trip to Rwanda with Gorilla Trek Africa. The idea was to see the gorillas and that was done to our absolute satisfaction. Nicholas was always very responsive and full of good ideas while I was organising the trip. Enos, our driver/guide, was most knowledgeable and helpful. We always felt safe and comfortable with him. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour operator.

Perfect Safari
5/5

Savannah Explorers is an excellent tour operator. Roberto tailored the trip to our needs and answered all our e-mails very fast. We visited Arusha NP, Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake natron (10 days). The lodges/ tented camps we stayed were very nice and pleasently located (especially Kati Kati in the Serengti). George (our guide/driver) was very knowledgable and an amazing animal spotter. We saw all the Big5 and many more. Last but not least, Tanzania is a beautiful country with many stunning national parks! Thanks for everyting!

Fantastic Honeymoon!
5/5

Jeff of Avocet Safaris set up an unforgettable honeymoon for my husband and I last summer. He arranged all of the transport, accommodations, safari, Kilimanjaro trek (with a private guide, cooks and porters) and connected us with another great company for our Zanzibar trip. After doing a lot of research, and getting a personal recommendation from a friend of a friend here in California, we booked with Avocet because they were reliable, responsive, and more reasonable than the other tours we looked at. Also, on the way into Tanzania our bags were delayed, and Jeff found them and had them delivered to us! Superb service, and a great value.

Going with Migunga Adventures you are sure to get Great experiences in a safe and personally way.
5/5

On our trip for my 50-birthday Migunga Adventures arranged a tour in the parks of Ngorongoro and Tarangiri and a climb on Kilimanjaro. They did it over our high expectations. Always on time and what ever was promised was accomplished. This was very important and made our trip to "the trip of lifetime"! Highly recommended!

Unforgettable Experience!
5/5

Our tour with Afroriginal was amazing! We felt like we were in Jurassic Park, surrounded by giant animals at all times. It is incredible how much life there is around you. We did a 4 day tour and each day brought a unique and amazing experience. Some of the highlights were:
- Lioness and her 5 one-month old cubs dining on a wildebeest 5 meters away!
- A cheetah eating an impala in the darkness (7pm) 3 meters away
- A bull elephant taking a close inspection of our vehicle with its trunk prior to the entire elephant pack following from behind
- Leopard lounging in a tree
- A beautiful male lion posing on a stoney outcropping
- Black rhino chilling in the tall grass

While luck certainly played apart in our sightings, our driver and guide, Jeremiah, really put in the extra effort to find us the best sightings and never cut the trip short. Some examples of Jeremiah going above and beyond:
1: Around 7pm, Jeremiah overheard that some other groups had seen a cheetah in a certain area. Despite the darkness, Jeremiah went in search of the cheetah instead of calling it a day and we were rewarded with a private viewing of a cheetah feasting in our car's headlights
2: Jeremiah had come upon a lioness and cubs leaving a wildebeest carcass and correctly assumed that they will drink water and return to their meal. We followed the lion family to the water and back when every other driver had given up on them returning. We again got some 20-minute private viewing of the lioness and her cubs eating and playing

Afroriginal also got the basics right. We really weren't expecting much from the food and were shocked by how delicious it was, not to mention really healthy. The portions were also massive so you don't leave the table hungry. As far as the tent, what can I say, it's a tent. It's clean with no holes and the sleeping bags and foam mattresses did there jobs (though bring some warm clothes for the night on crater - it gets cold even in the sleeping bag!).

Overall, it was an awesome trip. We had an incredible time and highly recommend Afroriginal Tours.

My Iringa Experience
5/5

I had the opportunity to experience this amazing safari experience in March 2014. Paul was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable in his field and enthusing passion in wildlife conservation. An accomplished photographer himself, Paul's expert tips on wildlife photography add a special bonus to his tours.

4 day tour to Kruger National Park
5/5

Outstanding experience and the trip of a lifetime. Our guide was excellent both at finding and spotting game. In addition Neil was a gourmet cook and kept us well fed and warm (blankets on morning game drives). We also got an interesting history lesson on the Anglo-Boer War and the first uso concentration camps. Neil is a true Renaissance man and greatly contributed to our tour.

Amazing tour, unforgettable experience, great price
5/5

I went on a four days / three nights safari with Bobby Tours. Me and my six friends spend two days in the Serengeti, one day in the Ngorongoro Crater and one day in Tarangeri.

To start off: our guide and driver Salim was amazing. He spotted all the animals from far away (leopards, cheetas, lions...and so on) and we were lucky to see a lot of them in action. Besides that he could tell us a lot about every parc and all the animals.

We had a cook with us, who prepared some delicious meals for us. I am a vegetarian and he came up with some very nice dishes.

We chose the budget camping option and spend two nights at the Seronera Campsite. It was an unforgettable experience to hear the hyena's, zebra's and buffalo's around your tent at night. The last nights we spend at Alsamo tented camps and lodges which is a brand new campsite, with a great atmosphere and very nice facilities.

All in all, we had the experience of a lifetime for a really affordable price! I would recommend Bobby Tours to everyone!
