Our 6-day Great Migration safari with Serengeti Wildlife Safaris was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. The highlight of our trip was witnessing the wildebeest crossing the Mara River a breathtaking and unforgettable experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives.
Our guide, Novatus, was exceptional. He was highly knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and always focused on making sure we had the best possible experience. His knowledge of the wildlife, animal behavior, and the Serengeti was impressive, and he knew exactly where to position the vehicle for some incredible sightings and photographs.
Everything was very well organized. The luxury accommodations were beautiful and comfortable, the safari jeep was clean, spacious, and well equipped, and the entire team was welcoming and professional. From the moment we started our safari until the final day, we felt well cared for.
We would also like to give special recognition to John, the owner of Serengeti Wildlife Safaris. His communication, attention to detail, and personal commitment to making sure everything went smoothly really made a difference. It was clear that customer satisfaction is genuinely important to him and his team.

Great personalized, private Safari with unforgettable wildlife experiences
We did a 7 day 6 night Safari and really found it to be the perfect amount of time to see everything we wanted to. The itinerary was perfect with the exception of a minor change for going to the northern part of Serengeti National Park, which our guide, Kev, pointed out early and changed appropriately. The trip was relatively smooth, though there were some permit issues with Ngorogoro that popped up a few times. This was resolved by the agency and our trip continued without incident.
Highlights:
- Saw the big 5 multiple times
- Witnessed two groups of wildebeest crossing the Mara river
- Got to see two rhino pairs
- Great view of Ngorogoro
Accommodation was great and we enjoyed the tented camps very much!

We were fortunate to be accompanied by Elias, who was both our driver and our guide. He was exceptional from beginning to end: very welcoming, always smiling, respectful, dedicated, and passionate about his work. He also speaks excellent French, which made our conversations and all his explanations even more enjoyable and easy to understand.
Elias explained things very well and always took the time to answer our questions and share a wealth of interesting information about the animals, nature, and the park. Excellent tour operator who made our Uganda stay fantastic
We had the best experience we could have asked for in Uganda, and we’re so happy we trusted The Shuttle agency with our trip. They organized everything perfectly, from welcoming us at the airport when we arrived to dropping us off again for our departure.
We were especially lucky to have Nickson as our guide and driver. He was very professional, knowledgeable, kind, and an excellent driver. He always made sure we were comfortable and that we could fully enjoy every part of the experience, from the safari to the gorilla trekking. He really took great care of us throughout the whole trip.
We were also genuinely surprised by the kindness and hospitality of the Ugandan people in general. It made our experience even more special.
