Tongesai is the BEST guide for a trip to Zimbabwe/Hwange National Park!!
We booked Tongesai / Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours based on recommendations from Safaribookings.com. He is a great communicator, and the booking process was quick, easy, and well organized. We were happy with the quote provided and were able to easily pay online. From there, he communicated the pick-up time and everything we needed to know prior to our trip. The day of transportation to Hwange went smoothly, and the van was very nice for our group. We arrived at Hwange at the scheduled time and went on our first safari of the day. It was epic, memorable, and everything we wanted! We enjoyed a quick lunch and continued our safari through Hwange National Park. From there, we drove back and enjoyed our conversations with Tongesai. Overall, it was an epic trip, with a great guide, and we would highly recommend it for anyone considering a day trip to Hwange. On our next visit, we will definitely be reaching out to Tongesai and hope to book an overnight stay in Hwange, as we wish we could have done more safaris!

Amazing experience
We had an amazing experience on our safari. When I saw how vast the Serengeti is, I thought it would be very difficult to spot animals — but we saw almost all of them! We saw around 20 lions in just two days, some of them incredibly close, which was truly unforgettable.
Our guide, Eliis, was fantastic. At first, he seemed a bit serious, but once he realized he could be part of our group, everything changed. We laughed a lot together, and he shared so much interesting information about the animals. This really shows how adaptable he is — if you just want a quiet driver, he’ll respect that. But we wanted someone to share the experience with us, and he became a great part of it.
The cook was also excellent. The food was tasty, and we always had enough water and even some Coke with our meals.

Thamani African Safaris organized everything perfectly for my family. I knew Magreth 15 years ago when she was managing group booking for Tanganyika Expeditions. She has extensive experience in organizing safari in Tanzania and has a huge address book to create a tailormade safari. She selected lodges and guides accordingly to our specifications. We particulary enjoyed visiting the Hazabe and hiking in Olduvai, which are activities i have not seen offered by other tour operators. Our guide Samwel was one of a kind, and very flexible.
Thamani is a 100% Tanzanian team what I appreciated. I was a bit concerned if the rest of the staff would be as professionnal as Magreth but Thamani as a whole was quick at responding at our questions before the trip, and was very helpful during our stay. We had an issue with a lodge that had overbooked our room, and Thamani solved it quickly to find us another room in a lodge nearby for no extra costs. I definitely recommand their services.

Super Eagles provided a great first safari adventure.
We booked a 10 day Kenya and Tanzania safari. Chanson Kimani helped us plan our tour to meet our needs. He was responsive to our many questions and prepared us for our trip. In Kenya, our guide, James Maurwa, was excellent. He answered all of our questions about the many animals and plants we encountered. He had a knack for finding the animals and positioning us in the right place for the best view. He kept us informed about what we were doing each day. In Tanzania, Julius, our guide, and Dixon, our cook were great. Julius was also informative and helpful. Dixon was an excellent cook and we ate the best meals. Our safari was a great introduction to both countries and these people are the reason we made such wonderful memories.

Perfect Tour
It was an indescribable experience. We spent three intense days enjoying the landscapes of the Masai Mara Park, and we saw many animals, such as elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, crocodiles, wildebeests, and buffaloes. Our guide, Nelson, is incredible, excellent driving, knowledgeable about the park, and knows the best trails. He definitely made the experience more complete. Regarding the accommodation: spectacular! The place was beautiful and cozy, the food was delicious, and the staff were super welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend the tour with this company.

Simply the BEST!
My husband and I had the great pleasure of experiencing a Safari with Tim as as our guide. Tim is extremely knowledgable and very passionate about his work. You can just tell that for him, this is more than just a job. He was so accommodating, so friendly, so efficient. In just a little over a week, we found ourselves considering him as a friend. We plan to return to Kenya for another safari, this time with our grandchildren, and we will do what it takes tom make sure we will once again be in Tim's capable and caring hands! Jambo!

Great 3D/2N Safari in Moremi Game Reserve
We had a great time on our 3 day safari in Moremi game reserve. The guide and chef took good care of us during our trip and James did a great job with communication prior to the trip. The team really went out of the way to make sure we had a great experience and went above and beyond throughout.
