One stop shop for all your safari requirements! Highly recommended!
5/5

After much research we decided to book our much awaited Safari holiday with Splendid Vacations. Alice was on hand to help tailor make the itinerary that best suited us. She was extremely patient and accommodating, which resulted in a seamless experience once we got to Kenya.

We booked our stays at Sweetwaters Serena Camp(Ol Pejeta Conservancy), Sawela Lodges(Nakuru) & Sarova Mara Game camp( Masai Mara). Impeccable rooms, food and service at each stay.

Any request or clarification we needed during our stay was promptly addressed by Alice.

Our tour guide/driver for the entire trip was Steven. Such a calm gentleman with a ton of information about his country, an apt cultural ambassador! Large spacious Land cruiser, with water provided every day. He was very accommodating with our requests as well.Because of the excellent pace of the program, we were able to connect with locals and not always be rushing to see the next thing. Steven took us on several game drives to try and spot the elusive Leopard!

Overall, we're very glad that we booked with Splendid Vacations. They left no stone unturned to make this the holiday of a lifetime!

Beautiful Memorable Safari
5/5

Galilaya Expedition, and it was a truly unforgettable experience.

I wanted to plan a memorable adventure with my partner and discovered Galilaya through Safari Bookings after reaching out to several operators. I chose Galilaya because they were the most responsive and accommodating, offering an itinerary that perfectly matched our preferences.

The booking process was smooth and efficient. Both Benaiah and Emiliana were incredibly helpful, responding promptly via email and WhatsApp. They provided excellent support not only during the planning phase but also throughout the trip itself.

Our safari group included four other guests, and we were fortunate to have Philis as our guide. He was a fantastic host—enthusiastic, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. His extensive experience ensured we visited the best spots for wildlife viewing, and thanks to him, we were able to see the Big Five.

We stayed at three high-quality accommodations during the safari:
- Country Lodge Karatu – A charming lodge set in beautiful surroundings, with warm and welcoming staff.
- Friends Serengeti Camp – A luxury tented camp in a secluded location, offering close-up wildlife encounters and a truly immersive experience.
- Ngorongoro Safari Lodge – A comfortable lodge with stunning views of the lake and attentive staff who made us feel at home after the day’s adventure.

I wholeheartedly recommend Galilaya to anyone planning a safari holiday. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to creating a memorable experience truly set them apart.

Bonface was extremely friendly, educated, informative and had a really good sense of humor.
5/5

Bonface was always on time, absolutely reliable and we felt very safe and informed in an outstandingly interesting and funny way. We saw almost every animal we wanted to and were able to learn a lot about flora and fauna because of Bonface knowledge. The lodge was also really nice with great service and delicious food. All in all our experience couldn't have been better and it was worth every penny!

Amaizing
4/5

This trip turned out to be the best one ever for our family. The staff were always supportive and accommodating, even responding to our detailed requests. For example, they were able to arrange a game drive on the first day and a visit to a Maasai village, even though these were not part of the original plan. On the other hand, we did not receive any response from the staff regarding some questions we asked during the trip planning stage. Therefore, we are deducting one star.

Chrizaan Troch was wonderful to work with, which resulted in a memorable and amazing trip!
5/5

Our Africa Safari trip will forever be one of the most memorable and wonderful trips we have taken. Words cannot begin to explain the amazing wildlife we got to see and experience up close. Experiencing these beautiful animals in their natural habitat was beautiful and humbling. Our trackers/guides did an amazing job, not only in tracking, but educating us on the wildlife. Besides going on several safaris, we also visited Victoria Falls, which is majestic in its own right. A definite must see. We also experienced several river rides, which were beautiful and calming, and another way to engage with the wildlife up close. We began our Safari trip in Cape Town, in which we had a very pleasant stay and tours of the city and Table Mountain. The sites are amazing!! I have to say, though, what made our trip very memorable were the people we came in contact with. They were so friendly, beautiful and very helpful. This unforgettable trip was made possible with the help of Chrizaan. Every destination we arrived to, we were greeted with transport, a tour guide and we felt so well taken care of. Everything flowed so smoothly. Our group is forever thankful to Discover Africa Safaris.

Amazing safari experience in Mikumi National Park
5/5

On May 23rd and 24th, our group of six students went on a safari trip to Mikumi National Park, and it was truly unforgettable. We were picked up in Dar es Salaam at 6:00 AM and had a smooth five-hour drive to the park. Everything was well-organized and on time, and we were able to enter the park right away without any delays.

Our driver was very attentive and flexible — he really listened to what we wanted to see. Every time we spotted a bird or animal and wanted a closer look, he would happily stop and wait.

The organization of the entire trip was excellent, and the timing was perfect. The safari itself was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we’re all very grateful to have shared it together.

I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for a well-run and memorable safari adventure!

The best guide that you could hope for one of the most memorable trips of your life
5/5

We had the best experience that we could have hoped for our trip to Uganda and Rwanda.
Unlike normal travel agencies, Bush Wanders was very responsive to every little request that we had. No extra fees, not making it a big deal. Our guide, Amos, was the sweetest and yet so professional during the whole trip, trying his best to make our trip memorable. Thanks to him and the company, we had one of the best trips that we’ve had in Africa.
Very reliable service, we had so much fun driving around and doing the gorilla trekking. Every dollar that we spent was worth it.
They took care of literally everything so we didn’t need to worry about a thing during the whole trip.

Informative, personable and engaging.
5/5

From the get go, we have been at ease with the abundance of preparation that was organised for us from the taxi from the airport, to the room that was kindly booked for us to simply shower and ready ourselves for the return flight.

We were well entertained, well fed, and well informed on the animals. Not once did we feel like we were with a safari guide, we felt we were on a great adventure with a new found friend.

Value for money, for me you can’t put a price on the quality of the experience we had, but yes worth every penny and more.

Not once did we have any second to doubt anything about the safari, the service or our guide, Eli was so welcoming from the get go.

No doubt you’d be comparing safari companies and tours, but I can assure you that the time we spent on this experience is incomparable, apples and oranges. Night and day.

I can’t stress enough how amazing and unforgettable this safari trip was, thanks to Eli and ‘the belly doctor’

Nature Travel Namibia was very responsive during the planning process and we loved Buzzy our guide
5/5

This wasn’t our first trip to Africa, where we lived and worked there most of our adult lives, but never made it to Namibia or Botswana. So, we looked for help from a local agency and Nature Travel has great reviews. Note that this review has not much new to add but can confirm that Petra is very patient and responsive. She helped us to put the Namibia and Botswana trips together within our time and budget restrictions. Between the 2 countries we arranged our own flights (with mileage points) to Zimbabwe to visit the Victoria Falls.

Our Namibia experience was mostly limited to “National parks” which have their own rules and restrictions, which means no roaming of the roads to get closer to animals or other points of interests. In Botswana we chose private camps which allowed us to see some wildlife, including the wild dogs, cheetah and leopard, very close-up.

Whereas the “big five” are a hit or, for some, a must on a trip to Africa, we also enjoy the small stuff or the tall stuff, such as the giraffe. Buzzy, our driver and guide in Namibia, knows his small stuff and we saw more birds than I ever will be able to memorize the names of. During one afternoon drive (between Swakopmund and Solitaire) he made a sudden stop and U-turn to pick up, and show us, a chameleon he had spotted on the side of the road while driving 80 km/hour. Minutes later he did the same for a very deathly scorpion. He identified both by their first and last names (or rather their Latin names😉). This is just to say that with Buzzy there was never a dull moment.

We had made our own arrangements getting to Windhoek and Victoria Falls. All other transfers, made by Petra, went very smoothly. We especially enjoyed the Botswana small Cessna flights. In Botswana we also enjoyed some “drives” by boat, some the size of a large kayak.

Our safari experience was absolutely fantastic
5/5

Our safari experience was absolutely fantastic – I highly recommend booking with Galilaya. From the moment we arrived, Emiliana made everything incredibly easy. She met us for a detailed briefing, and throughout the trip, she was responsive, and always on hand to help.

Our guide Philis, was a real highlight, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife. Since you spend a lot of time with your guide, it made such a difference that he was not only a great driver (even on the wildest roads!) but also knew all the insider tips on where to find the animals.

Each of the three accommodations we stayed at were beautiful, with staff who consistently went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The Serengeti itself is a breathtaking, unforgettable experience – made even better by being in such good hands.
