Furaha Adventure is an excellent and affordable tour operator that caters to all customer needs.
5/5

We, three old friends, planned our safari z with Godfrey, the tour manager. He immediately accommodated all our requests, such as a single room, a German-speaking guide, and a first and last night in Arusha, and offered us a reasonable price that we could even pay with a credit card. We were picked up as scheduled at Kilimanjaro Airport by Godfrey and Thor, our safari guide and driver, and taken to our first excellent accommodation. We visited Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park. Throughout the safari, Thor told us interesting things about the country, the region, the people, and the animals. He spoke perfect German and is a good driver. Our accommodations during the safari were the Kankari Lodge (superb), the Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp (good), and the Marea Valley Lodge (superb). We stayed at the Arusha Planet Lodge (superb) on the first and last day. We would book the safari with Furaha Adventure again in exactly the same way.

An Incredible Experience with Standard Safari Ltd, Professional, reliable and Honest
5/5

I just returned from a three-week journey through Rwanda and Uganda, and I’m really glad I chose Standard Safari to organize it. As a solo traveler, covering two countries in such a smooth and stress-free way would have been almost impossible without their support.

My driver and guide, Ryan, was fantastic—professional, kind, and incredibly patient, even when I came up with some spontaneous or unconventional ideas. He made everything easy and enjoyable. Ryan also has a deep knowledge of the region, which made the experience even more insightful and enriching.

As a travel photographer, I had very specific needs, and Standard Safari went above and beyond to help me create a custom itinerary that fit perfectly. Whether it was accessing remote locations, visiting local communities, or finding the best light for photography, they were flexible, attentive, and truly understood what I was looking for.

If you're planning an adventure in Rwanda or Uganda, this is a no-brainer. Standard Safari is professional, honest, and genuinely committed to making your trip unforgettable. I highly recommend them!

Incredible one-day excursion to Akagera
5/5

Golden Safari provided an amazing experience for our one-day trip to Akagera National Park. Frank and his staff in the office were great to deal with in making the booking.
Our guide Mico was a real pro, and knew exactly where to go. Although there is a lot of luck involved in what you see, he got us to the best spots and the luck followed. As such, for the first time in his career, we saw all of the 'Big 5' in one day (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhinoceros), and that was on top of all the other wildlife we saw. A real top notch experience, and would gladly book woth them and Mico again.

Thank you so much for organizing everything for us! It was truly a one-of-a-kind experience.
We loved every part of it — the polite, friendly, and highly professional drivers, the wonderful hotels, the delicious food, and the hilarious animals! We're so grateful — thank you again!

Knowledgeable and accommodating.
5/5

We highly recommend touring with Come To Madagascar! We did a 13-day tour, and our main focus was on seeing lemurs, wildlife, and unique landscapes — Come to Madagascar definitely delivered. The highlights of our tour were taking a boat down the Tsiribina river (we chose the bigger boat, not pirogue) and visiting the Tsingy de Bemaraha.

Before we booked, Sanda and his team worked with us to adapt our tour so we could get in the stops we wanted. While in Madagascar we traveled with Sanda, and he and the team were always looking out for us and went above and beyond to ensure our time was enjoyable. Sanda is super knowledgeable about the plants, animals, culture, and history of Madagascar, making for enjoyable and educational travel between and at the sites. He also vetted the local guides in national parks to ensure they spoke English well, ensured we could find food that suits our dietary restrictions, made sure all our lodgings (we went for the mid-tier option) were comfortable, and even worked hard to find us a last-minute flight back to Antananarivo. Even when things went differently than expected (which is just part of the Madagascar experience), we felt like we were in great hands and everything always got sorted out smoothly.

Come to Madagascar works with a great set of people, and we’d tour with them again in a heartbeat!

Organized and professional
5/5

My girlfriend and I went on a 6 day budget safari with pavilion !
Let’s start by saying how greatly planned it was! Although there was lots of driving from park to park as we chose a tour that covered many different parks, they still made sure we maximized time within the parks and time with the animals. We Had Anthony as our guide! Anthony was amazing, he has 11 years of experience doing safaris in Kenya, he always made sure we had what we needed and that everyone in the group was taken care of at the camps, he spoke great English, and when other guests who didn’t speak much English needed to know more, he made sure that they got what they needed, either asking us to help explain, or using translator apps.

We loved that we did the park in the off season, this meant less traffic in the park, less vehicles around the animals and an all in all more natural feeling safari!

We upgraded our vehicular from the van usually used in the budget safaris to the Land Cruiser! I would highly recommend this to anyone doing this trip, it is worth the extra money! You can go more places in the park and there for get better sighting of animals, of which we had lots! (See attached photos! Haha

We will 100% be back!

Very smooth, great communication, everything was as promised.
5/5

The tour was exactly as advertised and so much better. Everything from the pickup to drop off at the park went smooth and perfect. But than at the park everything was even better. We had a guide by the name of Frank who was not only very experienced at finding animals, he was also entertaining, and even more importantly very knowledgeable about all the animals and history of the park. This experience was beyond my expectations.

Profesional and well organized
5/5

I wanted to take a moment to share my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the incredible tour we experienced. From the beginning to the end, everything was exceptionally well organized, making it a truly memorable adventure.

Our visits to the Masai Mara were nothing short of remarkable. We had the opportunity to discover a diverse array of wildlife, traveling through the park and observing the animals in their natural habitat. The explanations provided about the animals and the wild life were both informative and engaging, adding immense value to our journey.

A special mention goes to the Albert, our guide, was nothing short of exceptional. His professionalism and commitment to making our experience unforgettable were truly commendable. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time, and for that, we are incredibly grateful.. Additionally, Mara River guardian, who did an outstanding job of immersing us in the wild life.

Once again, thank you for organizing such a fantastic tour. It was an experience we will cherish for a lifetime.

African Adventures Safari delivers far more in real life than described on the brochure.
5/5

This was the trip of a lifetime and delivered well beyond my expectations. You read the itinerary and think this will be great but it was so much more. Coop’s knowledge accumulated over more than 30 yrs meant everything worked like clockwork even when an unexpected situation arose.
Coop’s organised additional add on trips for our group without a problem because his contacts in the tourism industry is broad and he is obviously very respected.
Travelling to Africa is an expensive trip from Australia but I feel I got incredibly good value with this company.
The design of the trip gave us a chance to see all the big attractions, 3 different parks, High Veld, Victoria Falls and more but the extra fun is the different and sometimes quirky accommodations from tents to caves and then 5 star luxury, a trip on the Elephant Train was fun.
I broke my arm towards the end and even that was not too much of an issue because of the intimate knowledge of Zimbabwe of Coops (African Adventure Safari) and his contacts, I was able to be treated and no-one in the group was disadvantaged by my medical still can’t believe how fortunate I was to have this experience. We saw the big 5 several times, a leopards walked under the back of our car, rhinos came and ate grass on the lodge lawn and then walked through the lodge and out the front door. We saw cheetahs stalking wildebeest, we took canoes on the Okavango Delta and met hippos. The trip of a lifetime….oh the meerkats! So much in those 29 days! Fabulous.
