Lion King Adventures exceeded all of our expectations and made the entire experience an adventure we will never forget. Each day was a new adventure and we couldn’t wait for our game drives, exploring new sites, and seeing what the next accommodation would have in store for our us. We travel several times each year as a family and this was by far the most moving experience yet. What really made this trip special was our guide Joseph. He was incredibly professional, caring, knowledgeable of the local cultures and wildlife, and one of the most skilled Serengeti drivers you will find! By the end of the week we had memories that will last us a lifetime and it was incredibly hard to say goodbye to Joseph and our daily Serenegti adventures. Our safari game drive in Tanzania exceeded every expectation, and so much of that credit goes to the expertise and dedication of our guide, Saeed. From the moment we set out, it was clear we were in capable hands. Saeed is professional and genuinely intelligent, the kind of guide who combines deep knowledge about wildlife behavior and local ecology with an intuitive sense of where animals will be and how to position us for the best views. In a landscape crowded with jeeps all chasing the same sightings, this skill made a real difference.
He was constantly observing, listening, and anticipating our needs, never making us feel rushed or overlooked. More than just pointing out animals, he shared the wealth of knowledge he has about their behavior, ecology, and the local culture, turning each sighting into a genuine learning experience. One moment that will stay with us forever: thanks to Saeed's keen eye and positioning, we witnessed a cheetah making a kill in real time. These are the moments that define a safari, and they don't happen by accident. Your guide is absolutely the heart of a safari experience, and Saeed was undoubtedly a highlight of our trip.
Behind the scenes, Annie's coordination was equally impressive. She chose accommodation that was special in its own way at each stop, thoughtfully selected places that enhanced the overall experience. The itinerary was well planned. When we encountered issues along the way, Annie made us feel genuinely supported and prioritized solving them.

A Memorable Safari
Rafiki Tembo organized a memorable Safari for my family of 13. Lowassa was available every step of the way and was open to my suggestions and modifications. Our Guides, Deo and Athuman (aka Simba) were very knowledgeable and pleasant to be with throughout the Safari. I am grateful to the entire Rafiki Tembo Team for an outstanding experience.

Tapestry is competent, caring, talented and reliable in planning and executing the perfect safari.
Tapestry of Africa, though being a relatively new tour company, has assembled a very talented and caring team of safari tour guides and administrative staff. We felt very safe, well informed, and comfortable throughout our safari. Their ability to find the animals, immerse you in the local culture and foster relationships with your fellow travelers and Tapestry staff was unlike anything my wife and I have ever experienced in our all of our travels. Accommodations were excellent and the Tapestry Team made us feel at home in every way. Pricing was very reasonable and included funding for local ministries that support human service needs, especially dental services for those who otherwise don't have such services available to them. During the entire adventure, we felt well cared for by a reliable and caring Tapestry team. We give them 5 stars in every category and strongly recommend them for your African adventure!

Great route & great help!
We took an 11 day safari through Kenya and Tanzania and the highlights of our trip included our two wonderful guides— Chris and Omary.
Chris was our guide through Kenya and he was incredibly knowledgeable, very professional, and kind. He sufficiently navigated hiccups in the road and had a unique ability to make everything we saw feel special from a bird to a lion. He was able to pick up quickly on our interests and adapt accordingly taking sufficient time to let us see the animals we enjoyed most and knowing how to keep up pacing. Every morning he had a plan in mind and never made us feel rushed but also did not spend too much time idle.
Omary was our guide on the Tanzania side and he was also great. He was very educational, answering all our questions with an incredible depth of knowledge about all the animals, plants, and even rocks we saw. He also kept the party vibes bumping on long drives as we brought a speaker for the jeep and on the roads outside of the parks would be jamming to fun tunes together. He also was a great photographer for us!
Both guides ensured we saw incredible animals (rhinos, leopards, and even a lion kill!) and views and had amazing unforgettable experiences.

Additionally the accommodations were all wonderful. Akai did a great job helping us form our itinerary and customize it before and selecting our home away from homes for the trip. She helped us add on Amboseli NP to our route, and if you’re an elephant lover, it is well worth it. We loved working with her!

Above and Beyond
Leisureway was great. The process of booking the trip was smooth, our accommodations were comfortable and our tour guide was great. We also worked closely with Esther who was a God-send. Unfortunately we had a health emergency during our time there and Esther went above and beyond to make sure we could access medical care in a timely fashion and even came to visit us afterwards. Just a PSA that you are quite literally in the bush, so the closest facilities are in Nairobi. The terrain is also quite rugged on the drive there so be prepared for that. Overall we had a good experience with this group and would highly recommend them.

Once-in-a-Lifetime- Experience
I would highly recommend booking your safari through GoTouchDown. Lucia and crew did a wonderful job getting everything booked and our drivers, rangers, and game lodge employees did an excellent job in making sure we had a once-in-a-life time experience. We traveled with our young adult children and stayed at the City Lodge the first night, 3 nights at the Royal Morubisi, 4 nights at Siyela/Tskududo and another 4 nights in Cape Town. We loved each place as much as the next.
Our drivers/guides, James and Tony, were so informative, helpful and friendly. Our rangers, Lucas and Dan, were amazing and spotted all of the animals on our list. We saw lions, cheetahs and leopards several times and got so close to them. It was an awesome experience. We saw the Big 5: elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards and buffalo at both private reserves. Plus countless giraffes, zebras, impalas, wildebeests, and warthogs. We also saw a few crocodiles sun bathing, a herd of hippos in the water with only their eyes above water and a male ostrich doing an extravagant mating dance. Plus my favorite bird, the lilac breasted roller.
Cape Town was also an amazing experience. We went to the Cape of Good Hope, saw penguins, went up to Table Mountain, went to a dinner theater with amazing local dancing and drumming along with wine tasting.

An unforgettable safari with the best guide we could have asked for
We had an absolutely incredible experience with Suricata Safaris and could not have wished for a better safari.
From the beginning, everything was perfectly organized. Communication was easy and reliable, the accommodations were fantastic, the food was great and the entire trip felt very well planned from start to finish. Every place we stayed had its own character and made the whole experience even more special.
But the biggest highlight for us was definitely our guide and driver, Damian. He was simply amazing. Not only is he an excellent and very safe driver, but his knowledge about the animals, nature and Tanzania is incredible. He always seemed to know where to go and what to look for, and thanks to him we had so many unforgettable wildlife encounters.
What made it even better was Damian himself. He is warm, funny, patient and incredibly professional. After spending several days together, it honestly felt less like traveling with a guide and more like traveling with a friend. He gave us enough time to enjoy every moment, never rushed us and always made sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time.
We were also incredibly lucky with our group. From the very beginning, everyone got along so well and there was such a great atmosphere throughout the entire safari. We shared so many special moments, laughed a lot and experienced things together that we will probably talk about for years. We started the safari as a group of strangers and ended it as friends, which made the whole experience even more unforgettable.
The landscapes, the wildlife, the accommodations, our wonderful group and all the little moments along the way made this one of the most incredible experiences of our lives.
A huge thank you to Suricata for organizing everything so well, to our amazing group for sharing this adventure with us, and especially to Damian for making this safari something we will never forget.

Very nice safari experience
We had a great time during our 7 days safari in Masai Mara, Amboseli and Nakuru.
Our guide Musa was amazing. He was very knowledgeable, made sure to show us every animal and explain the story behind it. Musa was also very friendly, reliable and was always happy to help. I think, having him as a guide made our experience especially good.
Also the overall organisation was done very well. The coordination with hotels, transportation, extra activities was great. So we left the safari very happy.

Amazing!
Aslam was honestly such a big part of what made our safari so special. From the start, he was friendly, patient and incredibly knowledgeable, and you could tell straight away how much experience he has and how much he genuinely loves what he does. He put so much effort into helping us see everything we hoped for, and because of him we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, the Great Migration, and even cheetahs and leopards. He never made us feel rushed either, if we wanted to stay longer watching an animal or just take in the moment, he was always happy to wait with us. We also really enjoyed just chatting with him about normal life in between the safari drives, which made the whole experience feel much more personal. By the end of the trip, he felt like more than just our guide. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better and would 100% recommend Aslam to anyone doing a safari in Tanzania.
