Exploring and cruising: The Pearl of Africa
We spent an adventurous and fabulous 2 weeks family tour adventuring Uganda with Maraka Safaris. Hotspots like Queen Elizabeth National Park were such amazing. The salt lake, bird watching within the park were such remarkable features among others. I think Uganda is endowed. Talk about the tour company, the guides were over the top amazing

Great value for money while being treated wonderfully
Our experience was really amazing.
Our safari tour guide was amazing and so patience. Really communicated well eith the other tour guides and made sure to see our favorite animals. Was not more then 2hours that past that we were not seeing a predator.
Food was also flavourful. Just pack extra water if you are like me who drinks more then 2 litters a day. Also felt really safe with then being a woman.
We took the budget experience. So the room was a bit more then we expected.
But the views we got to see of the animals was really fantastic.
My trip was memorable and relaxing.
The service was top notch. Communication was good.

Family vacation
We wer really skeptical as to wether we had made a good move when we chose Khanondo safaris but I must say the only regret we have is ever doubting them. Simon and his team surely went above and beyond our expectations. The entire family loved their hospitality and we hope to see them again soon

Easy planning and good follow up
Package was to include a facemask, a bottled water and sanitizer for the game park tour but none were provided.
The tour guides were well informed and took us round in all the right places

Everything was working well and I the trip was defenitely worth the price.
I was lucky while the basic accommodation was full and I got a luxurious big tent in another accommodation with same price. And there I got best service ever in my life. So I was really happy, how they fixed that situation.
While doing safaris I saw so many animals but for me it was a bit hectic to go after different animals all the time. I would prefer to stay in one place longer and see what animals are doing. So if you want to decide how and where you want see animals, it's better to get own driver & car for you. I was with a group of 7 people and of course everybody has different ideas of they want see.
We were driving with 4 wd van and it had some difficulties when it stucked to some wet places. So strong jeep could be easier to move around there.
I was surprised that there was so many cars with tourists in some parts of the park but yes I also understand that.
It was anyway great experience and Masai Mara is an amazing place
