miterani waterfalls
5/5

We went with John on a day tour to the Mitroni Waterfalls, including a coffee-making tour and lunch. He is amazing, interesting, and a great conversationalist. The waterfalls, the coffee, and the meal were excellent. We really enjoyed it — highly

KENYA - TANZANIA SAFARI EXPERIENCE!!!
5/5

This trip connected me to nature in a way I never had before. My goal from the beginning was to see the big five. Seven Wonders Safaris made that possible. I saw countless lions, elephants, and buffalo in the Masai Mara and Serengeti. Lake Nakuru was a peaceful place, and the flamingos there were a treat to my eyes. When I suddenly saw a black rhino in the Ngorongoro Crater, it felt like I was dreaming.

Very unprofessional
1/5

On July 15, 2025, our family had a terrible experience in Johannesburg while on a tour with Mo Afrika Tours. We were attacked and robbed at gunpoint by four men right in front of the main entrance of the Radisson Blue Johannesburg hotel. My wife and I were both physically assaulted and injured, and all of our belongings were stolen.

We believe the driver arranged by Mo Afrika Tours acted unprofessionally and without our safety as a priority. This, in our opinion, is what left us vulnerable to the attack. Because of this, we believe Mo Afrika Tours should be held responsible for what happened.

Amazing!
5/5

Our recent five-day safari with Kili Serengeti Guides provided an exceptional experience. The trip featured remarkable sightings of the Big Five, the Great Migration of wildebeest, and the Grumeti River crossing, as well as cheetahs and leopard, facilitated by our guide's expertise in animal tracking. Furthermore, our pre-trip inquiries were addressed promptly via email. Totally worth it.

About: Uganda
Go for the mountain gorillas, the rest is OK but Tanzania for the other animals if you can do both..
Overall rating
4/5

Our 15 days in Uganda were excitng and fun and the gorilla trek in the Impenetrable Forest was outstanding . Our lodges were mostly outstanding and the Turaco Treetops was the best. That said, some advice: Skip Kampala City, don't spend an hour more than required--there is nothing of real interest there--the "historical stuff" is lame, the sites unimpressive and and the rest of the city is just dirty and crowded and very, very poor. The botanical garden in Entebbe is nice-ish and do take the boat tour into Lake Victoria from Entebbe to see the Shoebill Cranes on your way in or home--amazing. Bring lots of cash in small denominations of shillings--the hands are always out and every place you go you will be assigned rangers, guides, helpers, porters and whatever (aside from your own guide). I spent over $700 in tips before my main guide tip of $300 (he was funny, not great, but he had our back). If this is your one trip to Africa you will have an excellent chance of seeing many of the main animals, but aside from the incredible gorillas you would do better in Tanzania (where we have also been). Last piece of advice, and I hate to say it, but don't fly Ethiopian Airlines if you have an alternative. Some parts of the experience are great but the customer support if anything gets messed up in the slightest is just awful (our seconf try with them).
