A perfect tour
We are so pleased we booked with Mukisa. At the time of booking we did not know anyone who had been to Uganda and so we had no recommendations to rely on. However, from reading the wonderful reviews (which do not exaggerate) and after some emails with Richard, who is extremely responsive and helpful, we knew we could trust this company and that they were the right option to book with.
Mukisa was happy to tailor our plans so that it was completely bespoke to what we wanted out of our holiday. In general, this was to see as much wildlife as possible! We were lucky to see all the big 5, along with cheetahs, hippos, giraffes, chimpanzees and many more (including lots of birds). Cultural experiences were also very interesting and we enjoyed the food, which was tasty everywhere we visited.
Our guide and driver were brilliant and made sure that we had an informative and comfortable time. Our driver made us feel 100% safe on the roads and we enjoyed seeing so much of the country by road over the course of a 15 day trip.
The visit to the mountain gorillas exceeded even our high expectations - this is something that everybody should do in their lifetime!
Accommodation was lovely throughout the trip, much of it in safari lodges where you are close to nature and can enjoy the sounds of the animals in the vicinity. There are many different options for different budgets which Richard is happy to discuss in detail.
In terms of COVID, Mukisa made it easy for us to understand the entry requirements and we did not feel while we were travelling that COVID got in the way of our experience. It felt very safe - with lots of face masks and sanitiser available.

Excellent service providing a superb safari, John was the perfect guide
An incredible safari experience from start to finish, excellent accommodation at Ilkeliani and Lerai camps. John Wanjau was my guide and he was exceptional, he was incredibly knowledgeable and had an expert eye for spotting animals and birds. Being a birder I was constantly asking to stop to look at small birds I had spotted and John helped me to identify them. The highlights must be the hyena carrying the zebra head, and the serval hunting and catching a rat. The walking safari at Lerai camp was also excellent, Steve the guide showed me the local birds and helped me see 15 new species I hadn’t yet spotted!
An excellent safari and Tazama were brilliant, Antony was so quick at responding to messages so booking was easy. I shall be returning to Kenya in future!

AMAZING and well organized experience!
My husband and I had a trip of our lives with Safari Avventura and our experience was just amazing from start to finish! We were greeted by our guides at Kilimanjaro Airport and guided through the entire trip, which was so thoughtfully and smoothly organized so you could see that every detail was carefully thought out and taken into account.
Special thanks to our guides Elias, Shunda and Francis who were super knowledgeable, attentive, friendly and funny - great guys who made our trip very enjoyable, constantly providing new information and whenever any questions arose, we always received detailed explanations, all our other needs were met and taken into account as well. I have never thought the safari trip could be so safe, comfortable, fun and enjoyable.
During the whole journey we stayed in various places that were truly unique! They were in a great locations, beautiful and comfortable to stay in. We really enjoyed the food, also.
We visited Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti, met the people of the Maasai, Hadzabe and Datoga. We saw all the Big Five and many other animals we couldn’t even imagine.

Amazing experience!
We went for 3-day camping safari visiting Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater. Everything was well organized, starting from pick at the airport and ending with airport drop off. We had an amazing and knowledgeable guide Lewis. We saw the big 5 and lots of other animals, some of them really so close to us and just passing by. The food prepared by our chef was so delicious! Everyone from this company we were in contact with was really nice and professional. I had an amazing safari experience. Thank you, Suricata Safaris!

The best tour to do a safari in Tanzania
I highly recommend suricata to do the safari.
We did the 4 days safari with the and we don't regret.
We even had the chance to see the cheetahs and leopards up close and were lucky to witness lions chasing a wildebeest.
It's thanks to Ezekiel, our guide who knows the parks like the back of his hand.
I recommend you to ask that he will be your guide if you choice to do safari with suricata.
We will not forget our chef Tito who was able to cook us pizza and lasagna in the middle of the savannah without oven or electricity.

We had the absolute best time doing our Safari with Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris.
The entire team is just very helpful and ALWAYS making the biggest effort to make your experience as special and perfect as it can get.

The safari itself was just amazing.
The safari jeep is very comfortable (LOVED THE PILLOWS!), we got provided with the BEST FOOD (see the other reviews - it’s all true - varied, fresh, extremely tasty meals 3 times a day), soft drinks, water, beer and wine. We got to see the big 5 and many other incredible animals and nature.
We were like a big family while our 3 days safari, made new friends and left with a light heart full of great memories that will last for a lifetime.
So if you’re trying to decide for one of the many tour operators in Arusha - I highly recommend choosing this one! You won’t regret! They are amazing

Once in a lifetime experience with amazing guides!
We had an amazing 4 days trip to Masai Mara and lake Nakuru.
The booking itself went smoothly on whatsapp, we booked at first for only 3 days safari with Richard, and it went so well that we decided to visit lake Nakuru as well.
We were able to confirm the booking very short notice with all the desired options (transport & accommodations ).
We had the chance to be with very experienced drivers, Richard in the Masai Mara and Joshua in lake Nakuru.
Very friendly and professionnal, they were very generous in sharing their knowledge about all the animals we met! We felt safe and well taken care of during the whole trip.
They adjusted the itinarary for us to get tested for covid for our next trip as well!
