Excellent communication and service from quote to safari. Incredible team and experience!
We chose Roadside for our first ever safari and were very impressed! Paul and the whole team designed and planned our days carefully and picked perfect lodges to stay at overnight after the long, incredible days.
Our guide Justin was so knowledgable about the areas, animals and of course has eagle eye vision to spot animals from a distance.
Day 1, we arrived in Arusha and were met by Justin and after a quick bag drop at the Melia in Arusha, headed out to see some local sights, in this case an incredible rainforest waterfall hike, local Masai coffee farmer showing us around his land & finally a taste of local cuisine. We would 100% recommend doing this to make use of the first travel day (not to mention the coffee was the best we’ve ever had)
Day 2, Tarangire it’s hard to put this into words but the area is incredible to be driven through, and while the only thing owner Paul would guarantee we would see was the Baobab tree we were incredibly lucky to witness a huge variety of animals this day with Justin expertly navigating the multitude of paths and spotting signs of animals. After the day was done we headed towards our lodge near N’gorogoro crater which also really enhanced the experience and was a great choice for a lodge.
Day 3 N’gorogoro conservation area, after an early breakfast & packed lunch from our lodge we headed out again. Rain overnight had made the routes here tricky but that was no issue for Justin who again expertly navigated us and was always keen to explain animals, landscape and the history of what we were seeing. After another very lucky day for animal spotting we headed back to the lodge for our 2nd and final night where we greeted by another great meal & some local entertainment.
Day 4, our final day of safari at Lake Manyara. By the end of this day we were sad to have to leave and head back on the plane, we managed to see so much but could easily have done it all again. After the park we chose to additionally visit a local Masai tribe who welcomed us with their traditional dance & showed us the village - something we will treasure forever.
Overall we will 100% be using Roadside again for our next trip and would recommend anyone looking for a great guide and package to do the same. Thankyou again to Paul & Justin.

Well organized, nice guides and appropriate price
My safari was great! I traveled alone and changed the group after the first day, but all people I met were very nice. Even with rain, out guides tried their best to give us the maximum wildlife experience and we were lucky! I saw all the Big five! The nights in the tents were pretty rough, but it is part of it! And it is ten times worth it! Thank you Uhuru Travel for this adventure!

Safari experience at its best
One of the most pleasant and exciting experiences of my life. I arrived in Arusha and Hilary and I met for a coffee. Everything went smooth and uncomplicated. What I have seen in N‘dutu is simply indescribably. The game rides have been thought thru professionally; safe but at the same time also adventureous. Especially I want to thank Vincent Bruno, who is a hard-working, trustworthy, kind and thoughtful guide with in deep flora and fauna knowledge. The team at the Angata Camp have been an absolute joy. They take care of there guests with excellence, professionalism and deducation. Also their kitchen is very remarkable. At this point I would like to heartfully recommend Suricata and thank them for their hospitality.

Trustful company with great people
It was smooth forward from the first day I got in touch with Mufasa.
I had to change my travel few times and all has been handle quick and to my liking and my possibilities (thanks Pauline :)).
Then you could not hope for a better guide than Nelson, who put all his hart and knowledge to make your experience unforgettable.
It was amazing to be guided in parks by Nelson, learning from him about animals and listening to stories about Kenya.
Of course we see big 5 :)
But thanks to Nelson I see much more than that, and had a chance to see a common day of life of Kenyan people, with all the struggle and all the joy.
All this trip was an extra ordinary experience.
Thank you Mufasa.
If you go to Africa, go with Mufasa!
The Oluokos really know the western Kenya circuit.
I love bird watching and the Oluokos are avid bird watchers with great ideas on where to bird in western kenya.
Also a very warm team!

Perfect end-to-end service making your safari experience great
We booked a 11 day trip starting in Kenya and ending in Tanzania.
Communication and organisation prior to the trip were very easy and simple. Dennis provided us with all the relevant information and was always easy to reach when we had any questions. Also, we really appreciated that the team was flexibel in postponing our trip spontaneously as our flights to Kenya got canceled last minute.
The overall trip was very nicely organised, starting from the accomodations and meals to the covid tests required for crossing borders.
Our tour guide in Kenya, Joseph, was very friendly, very knowledgeable and reliable which made our safari experience unique and very enjoyable. Especially, after experiencing other guides we appreciated his guiding and wildlife knowledge and experience even more.
In Tanzania the tour was handled by a cooperating partner organisation. Accomodations were more basic but we still enjoyed these a lot. We had the feeling that our guide in Tanzania was not as passionate as Joseph, but maybe we were simply spoiled by having such a good guide during our first part of the trip.
Overall, we really enjoyed getting to see so many different places and parks across the two countries each being unique in its own way. Very good value for money and great for everyone comfortable with tented camping.

Amazing and excellent travel agency in kenya,Always recommend them for stress free safari
I have used quite a number of tour companies in kenya on my previous safari and nothing compares to Africa Starpal Safaris. The service was exceptional right from the office with Paul who was handling our safari. They surpassed my expectations and I am recommending them to all my family and friends and anyone who need your safari to be planned without any stress you better use this team. The guide seems to know everything on the forest, where to find the big five and every sounds of the birds,At some point i thought he was staying on those parks. All in all i cannot say everything but they made our 7 day safari to masai mara,Lake Nakuru,Amboseli and tsavo safari one of the best.Still planing to do migration safari with them.So i highly recommend them highly compared to some big safari brands in Kenya.
Very caring and professional company.
I could not be more happy to meet this young entrepreneur Isaya. His passion for his job made this trip special. Isaya is not only very knowledgable about animals - he just love them! The best part is that he gets very excited every time he sees animals. As being on safari for the first time. Once you get used to the charm of the safari his enthusiasm excites you again!

So grateful for this amazing safari, seeing the Big Five and so much more
I’m glad that my friend and I choose Lion King Adventure for our safari. The organization was very smooth with Pendo, taking into account our expectations and our budget to create the perfect safari. We only had to manage the international flights to come and go back, that’s all! Even when my friend got the Covid just the day before our flight, they were so flexible and understanding to postpone everything a month later.
Our guide David was so kind and experienced, explaining to us so many interesting things not only about the animals but about the culture as well, bringing us to the best places to see animals and taking care of our wishes to do everything to please us. We had the chance to see the Big Five and even more thanks to him.
Our jeep was really comfortable (even washed every day!), with binoculars, electrical outlets, sunroof, fresh water at disposal. Our accommodations were well chosen, in the spirit of what we had in mind, with friendly and helpful staff. Our meals were great as well, even the lunch on the road - not boxed food or sandwiches, real hot lunches.
We are so grateful for this amazing trip, meeting great people, seeing all these animals, enjoying every minute. Asante sana!
