If you're still unsure about booking a safari, just stop thinking and do it! A few weeks ago, I was in the same situation, scrolling through reviews trying to find the right company, and I'm so happy I chose them. The reviews are completely accurate and definitely lived up to the hype!
From the very first moment we contacted the company, Winnie was incredibly helpful. She was always attentive and made sure everything was taken care of for us, answering all our questions and ensuring we had everything we needed.
But the real highlight was our guide, Michael. He’s absolutely amazing! His knowledge is outstanding, and he really takes the time to make sure you see all the animals up close. We had such interesting conversations, and he taught us so much about the wildlife and culture. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Michael is the kind of guide who genuinely cares that you have the best safari experience possible, and it shows.
This was truly a dream come true for us, and knowing we’re supporting a local Tanzanian business with no middlemen makes it even more special. The money was so well spent, and we couldn’t recommend this company enough. Huge thanks to everyone, especially Winnie and Michael – you made this trip incredible!

This was an extraordinary tour. Simon expertly led us on an adventure that opened a world of wonderment and beauty. He seemed to know where the animals would be and the amazement at seeing these magnificent creatures up close took my breath away. We were also blessed to have a portable toilet on board! This is a must have.

My husband and I booked our private 3-Day Masai Mara safari the day before — very spontaneously! Simon was our main point of contact during the planning phase and he instantly earned my trust by providing quality information and helping us customize our experience, including a pick-up at our accommodations at Lake Navaisha. He provided a list of quality lodges (a few inside the park and several outside) and helped us choose Enkorok which was a mid-range option (the place was excellent). Simon then assured us that Stephen, our guide, would pick us up at 8:30 the next morning and there he was, smiling and ready to go, right on time. Stephen is easy to enjoy spending several days with as he’s friendly and a very safe driver, instantly easing us into our journey. He’s been a guide at all of the Kenyan and Tanzanian parks for over 20 years and can spot an animal out of the corner of his eye while traversing muddy roads. He has deep knowledge of all of the animals, their habitats and behavior. And, he’s friendly with all of the other guides, ensuring that when they see something extraordinary, we learn about it first! We got to see a cheetah kill and 5 cheetahs enjoying the spoils, which was a trip highlight. Stephen, a native Kenyan, is co-owner of the business with his son William and Simon. They are committed to customizing the experience to your tastes and needs, and we were grateful for a memorable, comfortable and INCREDIBLE adventure. A Truly Unforgettable Safari Experience - 5 Stars!
We recently went on a 5-day safari (Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) with Sandpiper Safaris. From start to finish, the attention to detail was exceptional, and the team went above and beyond to ensure every moment was unforgettable.
The organisation and communication was top-notch. When booking, they sent through a detailed itinerary and were flexible to accomodate our needs. They also arranged transfers to the airport and hotel, offering excellent service throughout.
Our guide, Abouh, was an absolute legend. He made sure we had the best safari experience possible. We saw the Big 5, thanks to his eagle eyes! Abouh was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and parks, always answering our questions with enthusiasm.
Richard, our lovely chef, cooked up the most delicious meals, and there was always more than enough to eat. We had hot meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday, and he was able to cater to different dietary requirements.
Overall, I cannot recommend Sandpiper Safaris enough. They are a very professional company, and everything exceeded our expectations. We are already looking forward to booking another adventure with them in the future.
