Love Uganda
5/5

We visited Uganda in May 2021 and used Dav Safaris for our gorilla trekking experience. There were 10 of us and we had a fantastic time. Reagan and David picked up our group from Mukono and they were super accommodating about everything. Our drive to Bwindi was long but they never minded stopping for bathroom breaks or letting us take pictures. David stopped to buy the sweetest little bananas and shared them with our group and they were delicious. Reagan was super responsive by email and very much willing to help get us what we needed. We also managed to schedule an extra trip into Queen Elizabeth National park and they took us there and helped us get back to entebbe for our flight. Our lodge accommodations had amazing food and they were also wonderful and very welcoming. All in all, it was a fantastic experience.

Amazing Trip to Kidepo
5/5

In February 2022, I went on Safari in Kidepo National Park. I have been in Uganda for sometime now, and Kidepo was one of the final places that I wanted to see before returning home to the US. Chris of Uganda Adventure Safaris was my guide for the trip. We left Kampala on February 21st and returned on the 26th. It was amazing having so many days to explore the natural wonders of Kidepo. During this trip I was also able to explore another city that was new to me, Gulu. As soon as we arrived at Kidepo, we went on a game drive. Chris was determined for us to see as much wildlife as possible. In addition to being professional, Chris is also well connected. He has good working relationships with many of the park employees. And because of those connections, the rangers helped us find the wildlife in the park. We were able to see a beautiful male lion, up close and personal. Another thing of note about Chris and Uganda Adventure Safaris is that they are excellent at picking accommodations for their guests. During my time at Kidepo, I stayed at the Apoka Lodge. It is a budget accommodation but very comfortable with friendly staff. One of the unique features of Apoka is they have a watering hole in the middle of their lodge, where the animals of the park come to drink and cool off in the water. On two separate occasions during my stay, I saw families of elephants playing and drinking in the watering hole. The watering hole is situated directly across from the dining area for the lodge, so it is easy to catch animals while you take in a meal. This unexpected surprise was one of the highlights of my trip. I would of never witnessed such an amazing site, if Chris had not booked this particular accommodation for me. This is just one example of how Chris and Uganda Adventure Safaris goes above and beyond for their guests. Their attention to detail, positive attitude, professionalism, and kindness ensure that EVERY one of their guests will have the trip of a lifetime. I have spent alot of time in Uganda. During that time I have fallen in love with the country, and one of the main reasons for this are all of the wonderful trips that Chris of Uganda Adventure Safaris has taken me on during my stay here. I strongly encourage anyone that is visiting Uganda to book a trip with Uganda Adventure Safaris. It will give you the chance to see such a magical country with a seasoned and enthusiastic tour company who value customer satisfaction above anything else.

Uganda 8 Day Safari+Gorillas+Chimpanzee
5/5

A truly once in a lifetime tour, Kojoseph and Amos went well above and beyond in every facet of the trip. We always felt safe and that we were getting the best bang for our buck. The experience seeing the gorillas and safari and the falls was unforgettable and their attention to detail and customer service was beyond exceptional. I would wholeheartedly endorse them as a tour with my closest family and friends. Thank you Amos and Kojoseph for a remarkable experience! Came as strangers left as family.

Very good.
5/5

I went on a 3-days safari last February with Adventure Makers. As I travelled alone, the organizers merged me with another group of people, which I really enjoyed. The safari went very well. We took the road the first day around 7a.m. from Arusha to Serengeti National Park (~4h drive). We were a group of 5 and had three guides (a driver, a savanna professional, and a cook). They were very warm, patient, professional and very good company !
During the safari, our group was lucky enough to eat very good meals every day. The cook was very clean and made sure to vary and to adapt to our tastes, while also allowing us to discover Tanzanian cuisine.
The safari was very good, and our guides made sure we saw as much animals as possible. We saw the big 5 and many other animals.
We spent the first two days in Serengeti and one day in Ngorongoro. In the morning, we would wake up, have breakfast, then go for a morning game drive and see the sunrise from the car, in the savanna. Needless to say it was a breathtaking experience. We would stop for lunch around 12/1p.m., then go back to the game drive. Around 6.30p.m., we would go back to our camp, chat with our guides and then go sleep in our tents. It was really an incredible experience to have that much proximity with nature. One night, some zebras came next to our tent and stayed next to us all night long

Hakuna Matata - fantastic tour with our family
5/5

From the moment we meet Matata until the final farewell at the ferry in Dar es Salaam, our family (kids 7 & 10) enjoyed the safari trip. Matata is one of the most friendly and respectful persons I've met in my life and it was a pleasure to learn from him about the beautiful country Tanzania. Driving the most terrible roads, searching for lions until the very last minute and being fully in control whatever happens, these skills are highly appreciated during a family trip. As it was just Mikumi, Udzungwa and Nyerere/Selous, we already look forward to the day we meet again for a safari trip.

Great!
5/5

I did two tours, the northern portion (follow the migration) and the southern portion (marvels of the south). Both tours went perfectly and I have zero complaints about either. The accommodations were good as were the daily game drives and the food. Both of my guides were absolutely amazing (Fadhili in the north and Emmanuel in the south (I know I butchered the spelling of the second)). They were both extremely easy to get along with, and also extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all the questions I had. The only recommendation I would make would be including driving times in the itinerary, particularly for the south portion. When booking, I wasn’t aware the drive from Dar es Salaam to Ruaha would be 12 hours. If I knew that, I probably would’ve chose to fly there instead of driving.
