Unforgettable experience
This really was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish everything was handled expertly. A big shout out to Lennox and Robert our tour guide.
From the get go, The process with dealing with Lennox was seamless. Every query I had he answered immediately . I went for the budget route with this trip not knowing what to expect but I couldn't fault anything. Great value for money and a great experience to get up close with the big 5 in Masai Mara.
Robert was one of the most knowledge and likeable people I've ever met. Great guy all round who ensured that we saw every animal possible while on the safari.
Also a great guy to have a chat with while relaxing with a beer at the end of the day
Top marks all round

Amazing experience with Roadside
We read many of the reviews written here by previous travellers and decided to go with Roadside. I will tell you this: the reviews are all TRUE! From the very beginning Paul was attentive and replied to our needs in an excellent manner and rapidly. We ended up making a 7 days, 6 nights Safari and the praise for each of the people we met during our adventures won't never be enough.
I would recommend anyone to go now and live a lifetime experience, probably due to COVID there is not much tours on the parks so you will have a better, very intimate tour... our tour guide, Fred has an incredible eagle sight and we could see all the things we imagined, and more.

Memorable Safari
My boyfriend and I started planning the trip pretty late and couldn’t decide which tour company or which route to go. Lion King (Godwin) provided clear and prompt responses to all of our questions and helped us with the itinerary tailor-made to our schedule & budget (mixed of camping and mid-range lodges), which led us to happily confirmed the safari right before we boarded the plan to Tanzania. Since then, everything went very well, from airport pickup to airport drop off.
Our guide Salehe (aka Dingilay) took good care of us and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. He’s very considerate, always checked we were satisfied with the itinerary and put our needs at high priority. He has good eyes for birds, and helped us find lots of birds we’ve never seen before. Although he might not be an animal specialist (to be fair, I don’t think many safari guides are animal specialists), Salehe tried best to answer all of our questions about animal, culture, landscape, etc. We appreciated that he carries a collection of books about animal in the car - super useful!
All our accommodations were really good. The mid-range lodges were comfortable with good view but it’s good to know they are a bit far away from the main attractions (e.g. 45 minutes drive from Tarangire, 1 hour drive to Mara river). On this regard, the campsites were actually located better. And despite the campsites provide basic facilities (actually very comfortable), the team made us beautiful tent and beds (like a glamourous camping!) For camping food, Lion King assigned us with the best chef, Youssouf. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the safari trip. Every night’s dinner felt like a ceremony. It was a battle among all chefs in the kitchen and we as guests had the most amazing food on camping - Youssouf’s soup was especially delicious, which is why his nickname is Mr. Delicious. He’s a funny person, very chill, and we loved his company. At the end, the combination of comfort provided by the safari staff and great food cooked by Youssouf (better than in lodges) made us prefer camping to mid-range lodges.
Overall, we loved this safari. It gave us special memories and if we come back, we’d love to go with Lion King Adventures again.

Friendly, relaxed, customer oriented, professional and fun budget Safari
First of all, Zamo (our Tour Guide and driver) and Denis (our cook) were the BEST!! Among many offers we chose Wakanda because of a friend's recommendation and the included itinerary. We did 3 nights (one in the Fig Tree Lodge, which was very nice! And 2 nights in a tent - everything was provided by Wakanda). The first day we visited Tarangire Nationalpark which was beautiful with many many animals and a awesome landscape. Then we did Serengeti, which was huge and impressive and dry, where we saw many lions and hippos (and many more). And on the last day we saw the Ngorogoro crater, which was amazing as well with so many animals and where we were lucky to see all the big 5 animals. (The others additionally did the lake Manyara but it's the least spectacular one and we were quite happy to do 3 nights). In general we had the feeling that Zamo knew all the National parks very well and the secret spots. Also he was very respectful about the animals (in contrast to other cars who almost bothered the animals sometimes). Zamo explained us a lot, had a good sense of humor and after the four days we got to know him very well. He also told us a lot about Tansania and it's culture and lifestyle! He was just great! And Denis was for sure the best cook you can get! Extremely good food (from meat, to self made bread, fruits, pancakes, lasagne and so on)!! We also got hot meals for lunch AND dinner (in comparison to other groups who often just had a sandwich). And we had more than enough beer and wine. Moreover we were very lucky with our group because the other 4 persons were in our age and on the same vibe as us! It was very funny with them and this made these 4 days also special :)
To summarize: we can highly recommend Wakanda Tours (try to get Zamo and Denis!) but of course it always depends on the guide, on the group and on the luck of which animals you will see. We saw a lion passing right next to our car but we didn't see a hunt for example. And a valuable tip: take warm clothes, it gets very cold!! Thanks a lot to Bartho who organized everything and was always friendly and helpful and to Zamo and Denis, you are the best!! :)

The best tour operator for real adventurers
We have visited 4 national parks of Northern Tanzania in 7 days, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. The organisation was perfect, all actions were planned carefully and realistically, so no stress just a bit of a discipline.
Our two guides, Shunda and Aidan, are very professional and passionate persons. They provided us with many useful and interesting facts about Tanzanian flora and fauna, but also they gave us a valuable insight into the real life of Tanzania people. Our echange was funny, cordial and very enriching. They took care of us, as we were their best friends.
During the trip, we visited a Masai village, which was an incredible experience which you must get if you seek a real adventure (their lifestyle and their marital status are far away from ours so feel free to ask any question, even very private). Be ready to contribute to their well-being (ask your guide about the amount of a contribution before you go there, to avoid any surprise).
The food during safari (lunch) was always of good quality and warm. Nothing to do with other tourists who had to consume the content of their lunch box (cold staff). We were always served as we were a royal family (maybe I exaggerate a bit

Inoubliable expérience - organisation parfaite, staff professionnel, expérimenté et passionné
Amazing experience! Wonderful organisation, experienced guide and chief we called Mr Delicious! We had a 5 days safari my girlfriend and I and saw the big 5 in beautiful landscapes. After a benchmark of all guides we selected Cubs Expedition for the proposed tour and competitive prices. The organiser answered all the questions we had (and more) and arranged everything for us: accommodation, foods & beverage, airports transit - everything we needed ! During the safari our experienced and joyful guides shared with us all the history, tips and knowledge about the animals, vegetation and local people (the Maasai but not not only). He made us discovered the big 5, the ugly 5 and more, always arranging the experience based on our desire without following all the other tour cars that were running fast and grouping.. The chief made for us exceptional traditional breakfasts, meals and dinners (not the lunch boxes..) with passion to give us all the energy we needed - his smile and laugh was always so good to hear and see. Can you imagine having hot traditional beef sauce & fresh vegetables in the middle of Serengeti? :)
It’s not easy to choose a safari tour but with Cubs Expedition we were very very satisfied and this is an experience we will remember all our life! We recommend without any hesitation Cubs Expedition

Amazing Experience!
We recently completed a nearly two-week safari to Kenya with Spirit of Kenya, and it was an amazing experience. Our safari took us to Amboseli (Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge), Lake Naivasha (Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort), Ol Pejeta (Serena Sweetwaters Camp), Lake Nakuru (Sarova Lion Hill) and Masai Mara (Mara Serena). from the beginning of the planning process to the end of our safari, Spirit of Kenya met and exceeded all of our expectations. Our trip planner, Tiago, was exceptional; very prompt with responding to emails, and there were so many emails...lol. While on safari, our guide, Charles, was awesome; not only was he very knowledgeable concerning game drives/wildlife, but really personable/easy to talk to, always went out his way to make sure everyone was having an enjoyable experience. It makes such a huge difference when you are on such a long trip, and you are able to develop a great rapport with your guide. Beyond Tiago and Charles, I want to give a shout out to other staff with Spirit of Kenya that helped to make our trip so memorable, such as Operations Manager Miss Beauty, and drivers Moses and Alex, who, in their own ways ensured our trip went smoothly. In totality, Spirit of Kenya really runs a top notch operation - from trip planning, to airport transfers, to arranging covid testing, to the safari activities, every aspect of our trip was executed as planned. Some other tidbits: While all of our lodgings were outstanding - our group's unanimous favorite was the Serena Sweetwaters Camp in Ol Pejeta. Speaking of Ol Pejeta, the "meet the white rhinos activity" is a must do. Make sure to do a hot air balloon ride on the Masai Mara, it is amazing. Our hotel in Nairobi at the beginning and end of our trip was the Sarova Stanley - it is a really nice base to have in Nairobi. In conclusion - Spirit of Kenya really knocked it out of the park, and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking to go on safari to Kenya.

Trip of a life time
It was the best experiences ever! Starting from the day we contacted them to the last day of the trip. Chris was always in touch with us, and always available to answer all our questions Everything that we were offered was received, even more, for the best price, we are very satisfied with Chris and his team. We visited Jinja, Murchiosn falls national park, Kibale and Bwindi. Watching gorillas was a mesmerizing experience, loved every moment and had so much fun. All the lodge selection was luxurious with delicious meals. James our driver and tour guide was amazing. Everything seemed easy for him, From driving for many hours to finding all the animals of our interests, My husband have on safari in Kenya where he saw everything apart from a leopard and when we told James that we would really like to see one, he jokingly told us that he has a phone number of one of the resident leopards, we all laughed knowing that leopards are difficult to see, He however proved his joke right by showing us 3 leopards in one day. He put in his best effort to make everyday of the safari special and interesting for us. Chris and Jame efforts to make this adventure unforgettable are Priceless. We can certainly tell you that all our expectations were met and exceeded. We highly recommend Uganda Adventure Safaris for any kind of safari in Uganda.
