Excellent 1-day Safari Tour!
5/5

George (my tour guide from Millennium Tours) was fantastic! Knowledgeable, friendly, and a great driver. We did a one-day tour of Nairobi National Park, and it exceeded my expectations (which were high, having just come from Massai Mara). Highly recommend this outfit!

UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE
5/5

The Safari experience with KilimanjaroTours has been unforgettable.

Said is an incredible guide, he always knows how to position himself, where to look, as well as explanations of each animal and its characteristics. We left a friend in Tanzania!

The food has been delicious with Victor, it works magic considering that we have been moving through different parks and the logistics are complex.

Hopefully one day I can return to that paradise.

Could not have been happier
5/5

I booked on short notice during the slow season (about 6-8 weeks out) for a short 7 day visit. I had sought out quotes from 3 companies. Hidden Gems came back at 30% less in cost with the same type accommodations and itinerary as compared to the larger (in the tour book) companies. I chose them based on the reviews I found on TripAdvisor in the forum section as well as the cost. Note there is no hidden fees as all quotes I had included all costs (rooms, meals, permits).
I then had to shorten the visit to 5 days and they adjusted the itinerary so that we did not miss anything.

I was met at the airport and then started the itinerary. Everything including the weather ran well for the entire trip. Lodgings were as promised along with the meals. Transport went without a hitch with a nice and roomie 4WD van.

Our focus was primates, but also included time in QENP which was awesome (see the pictures).
We did a Chimp Trek first, followed by an afternoon QENP drive. We lucked upon not only seeing a couple of lions up close, but also were just in time to watch a leopard stalk and then catch an antelope - this was a great first day.
2nd day we went to see the Lions in the Tree and got to see two "cubs" and two older males, in the tree. We also got to see them climb down and back up. Afternoon was on the lake where we saw many hippos and other animals. Excellent second day.
Third day was more driving with some good scenery. We saw the lake setting on the 20,000 note as well as another lake area noted for being in films. This was a good breather between busy days.
Fourth day was all day Gorilla Trek. Uphill both ways somehow.
Last day was Golden Monkeys. This ended up being my favorite. Our guide went with us which made it even more fun. It was a good day with the monkeys as they were very close to us and active for our hour, without wandering off too much.
Last day was a long drive back to the airport - almost 8 hrs. It was not all that bad.

In all this was a very enjoyable trip. Not just for all that we got to see, but how stress free it was. Hidden Gems took care of all the scheduling (a good itenerary that allowed us to make all the items), selected good lodging, made sure our rooms were correct, and that meals were all taken care of.

Our guide Paul was excellent. He hit everything on the numbers and got us everything on the list - Leopard kill check, Lions in and out of trees check, Elephants playing in the mud check, Elephant walking around a large crocodile check, as well as the Chimps, Gorillas, and Golden Monkeys. Van was cleaned up every day and we always had water and snacks (we never ran out of bananas).

Deo (owner) kept in touch while arranging the tour, kicking off the tour, during the tour, and after the tour. He also met up with us a two times and rode shotgun on the last day as well.

This is exactly the tour I always hope for when booking local, getting that personal hands-on experience.

I usually do not repeat trips, but this is one I may make an exception for.

VERY EXCITING ONE DAY TOUR TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
5/5

To be true, I have to say that we had a bad starting, with some misunderstanding on time of meeting at my hotel to set-up and finalize booking, but that was corrected with someone from the agency meeting me at another place of my choosing and even got a lift back to my hotel.

The rest went very smooth and to my liking.

I was picked-up from my hotel in time and we went in a group of only four tourists to the Tarangire Park.

The guide had more than ten years of experience in safaris and spoke very good English.

We had a slow start regarding animals inside the park, with packs of wild boars with their new born and some impalas, but with effort from the driver/guide we were able to see lots of elephant groups also taking care of some babies, feeding of the small plants, drinking water and even maybe two male brothers playing with each other in a pond and a good number of giraffes.

After a lot of searching we where able to see from a distance two lions taking a nap at the side of the Tarangire river, water bucks, one baboon, African buffalos and one zebra.

Lunch was adequate with options for vegetarians.

Being my first chance to see those animal out of a zoo cage or confined areas it was a wonderful experience and led to book another tour with the same agency for tomorrow. Now I am back at the hotel. Tired but very happy to write of one or two items on my bucket list.

Crescent island Safaris!
5/5

It was a great pleasure doing the excursions in the beautiful Crescent Island and also enjoying bike ride at Hells gate in Naivasha. We had great safari van with open roof, allowing us to see a lots of wildlife and beautiful landscape along the way as we drive to Maasai Mara National Park and much more like the great Rift Valley. Every hotel we were booked for, was great . we encountered great service, good food(local and International dish) and beautiful views. It was just an amazing way to get away from the cold winter. When we finished our trip we requested for some excursions within the Nairobi City, Kenyan's capital city since our flight was scheduled at night and we still had a lot of time in the city. That was a great trip, Kudos!! to Silver Spark Africa Safaris. It was a great pleasure doing the excursions in the beautiful Crescent Island and also enjoying bike ride at Hells gate in Naivasha. A really great trip. A memory for life.
5/5

Lenchada safaris is a great tour operator in my opinion. The communication by e-mail was fast and they kept their promises. I slept at two hotels that were great and had swimming pools. The camp itself was also really nice. I saw the big 5 plus a lot of other animals. I visited the Maasai village that is optional, and it will be a memory for a lifetime. I will also say that my guide Dennis was fantastic. He had a lot of experience. He told me a lot of interesting facts. He was always in a good mood and took care of me. If you want to be sure to have a great time I would recommend to ask for him as a guide.

Our very own Safari
5/5

During the preparation of our safari, I was a little skeptical to conduct the safari with a local provider.

But Isaac taught me better, and I can recommend him with a clear conscience.
There was always communication before, during or after the safari. Our driver, Mike, quickly adapted to our "POLE POLE" pace during our safari and accompanied us safely. We wish Isaac continued good business and please everyone stay safe.

See you next year again

best regards Marion

The booking, pick-up at the airport, the Safari (7 days), transfer to airport > all was perfect !

I made the 7 days Safari and I was super happy after this tour.
My driver / guide „Donatus“ was a safe driver and he knows a lot about wild animals, plants, people and country.
In this days he get my friend.
All booked Hotels, Lodges or Camps were clean, the staff very friendly and the food great.
I saw tausends of wild animals and the most very near, I will never forget this amazing time.
I can warmly recommend Aardvark to all to do one of the Safari they offer.
