Review about Arusha National Park by Maria
The Ruaha park is a gem offering a large variety of colourful landscape and vegetation ( rivers, flat and dry terrain, hills , rocky area, with many plant species including many Baobab trees in certain areas, and combining dry and green areas in August ). We really appreciated there were extremely few jeeps inside the Ruaha park, so we could get an authentic feeling of being on a safari, and it was possible to drive for long distances and many hours without meeting another jeep. Be aware however that in this park you will not see dense packs of animals like buffalos, zebras, antelopes like you can see in the Serengeti park. You will find more sparced and smaller groups of animals within a larger park.

Johny was excellent from the moment we met him until the end.
First, the communication with Axis was always top notch. We communicated with Lennox when planning and booking the safari. He always responded quickly to our questions. We had flight cancellations and Lennox was great with helping us shift dates and find our accommodations. He was always there to assist with everything.
We traveled from Nairobi to Naivasha to Nakuru before entering the Mara. Johny was an excellent driver and guide the entire trip. He was well respected among the other guides and in the Mara many guides were asking for his assistance.
We stayed at Lake Naivasha Simba lodge, Sarova Lion Hill, and finally Ashnil Luxury Camp in the Mara. All places were excellent. Great rooms and food.
Johny was able to guide us to the Big 5. It was evident he really cares about his job as a guide and has great respect for the animals and sanctuaries.
We are planning returning again in a few years to do another trip with Axis!

The best tour operator I’ve ever had!!!
I initially asked for 3 quotations for my 7-days safari in Kenya (Masai Mara-Amboseli-Nakuru-Naivasha). All 3 tours companies replied me right away but Ms Yvonne Ateka from Budget Holiday Safaris was by far the most outstanding and patient in answering dozens of my questions concerning visa, safety, accommodation, preparation, etc… She was also extremely flexible in helping me changing my safari schedule due to my unexpected 2-days delay at transit airport New Delhi.
The entire tour was fascinating!!! It was the very best trip I’ve ever had (I’ve travelled 30+ countries so far)! Kenyan nature and wildlife is breathtakingly beautiful even more than I’ve imagined before…
Our tour guide Eric was very caring, knowledgeable and a super offroad driver.
Thank you so much again Yvonne & Eric for making my trip in Kenya a great experience! I would wholeheartedly recommend you guys for all my friends travelling to you amazing country!
A sidenote: for those who don’t know - please do not take photographs in Nairobi’s CBD (Central Business District)! It’s against Nairobi city regulation and may get you into big trouble!

Experienced friendly guide made an unforgettable trip for us
The trip was amazing and Suricata Safaris guys took really good care of us , from picking us up from the airport , driving us to the lodge in arusha, starting the day with safari , everything was great ,our guide Hassan was really nice knowledgeable and told us a lot of info about everything we saw, i liked how careful he was to make us know more about what we're seeing , the cook made us really good food,they provided 3 meals each day of the safari , and the accomodations were absolutely fine , i highly recommend this company as i got here by good reviews in the first place

Bush and Beach safari in Kenya
We had an amazing experience with Bush thorns adventures and Safari’s. Samuel and Joseph were our guides and came with vast experience and photography skills. We traveled with children from Nairobi across the country to the beaches of Diani. We saw Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli (Kilimanjaro), Diani beach and Mombasa. We were facilitated with our own private custom land cruiser to suit the rough Kenyan terrains for the whole trip and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend it to all.

Topy Tours provides excellent service and their packages are great value for money
Our safari experience with Topy Tours was one of the highlights of our amazing trip in Tanzania. With so many different packages from various tour operators, it was a challenge initially to pick one.
But Jackson, the owner, stood out immediately from the rest because he was always quick in his response and answered every question with clarity. One thing that stood out was also the fact he does not pressure you into booking with him, which may not be the case with others.
As for our package itself, it was an amazing experience from our first day at the Kilimanjaro Mountain foothills.
We had a great time hiking up to Mandara Hut which set the tone for our safari adventure.
Me and my wife had 2 other great couples that we could bond with throughout the week long trip.
As for the safari, we saw almost all the animals, and the highlight was three lions kill a gazelle for lunch right in front of us!
After our safari adventure ended, Jackson even accompanied us on the final day by taking us to the cultural village and some nightlife afterwards.
I would highly recommend Topy Tours. It was amazing to learn so much about Tanzania thanks to their amazing all-round service!

Best Value for mid range group Safari with top quality accommodation & amazing service
We did a 5 day group mid-range safari with Suricata. It really exceeded our expectations because we saw the Big Five within the first 3 days and even saw tree climbing lions, a leopard resting on a tree, and a cheetah searching for a prey.
Hilary was very prompt in replying to our queries and made the booking process easy. We booked last minute but he managed to get us the same quality and style accommodation as those ones in the brochure.
Dickson, our guide/driver, was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting facts about the wildlife. He accommodated all our requests, making sure we were comfortable and had the best spot for viewing and taking photos.
We stayed in one mid-range lodge and three tented camps. Suricata chose very tastefully decorated tents that were simple, super comfortable and had everything we needed to rest for the next day. The tented camps inside the Serengeti and Ngorongoro were not fenced and it was just amazing to hear hyenas calling out, and zebras and water buffalos grazing outside your tent as you lay in bed. They served 3 course meal for dinner which was really good and tasty with a simple breakfast of toast, pancakes, cereal, eggs, bacon and sausages.
Make sure you bring warm clothes and jackets for layering as it gets cold in the evening, while it is warm during the day. Ngorongoro is quite high up and gets a bit chilly even during the day.
Overall, this package is really great value for the price. Suricata even arranged accommodation on the night before and after our tour with airport transfer. The organization was seamless and we didn’t have to worry about anything at all. Everyone from booking, airport pickup, briefing, check in and check out, and the tour itself, provided 7 star service every single time and made us want to come back and do it all over again.
We will definitely recommend Suricata to all our family and friends.

One of the best Tanzania safari tour
We had a wonderful experience with the Dodo group safari. We had booked a safari for a week. They did all the arrangements from food to stay and location and exceeded our expectation.. This was one of our best vacations ever..
1. They helped us in planning our whole itinerary based on our budget and made sure what to expect and the communications and service started before the trip.
2. We are vegetarians and met our food expectations. We had multiple choices for food and they ensured meals were prepared as per our requirement.
3.The accommodation tented camps are so misleading.. never expected such luxury amidst forest..
4. We had an awesome guide who educated us a lot and made sure we were able to spot most of the animals and endless birds.. If not for him we would have spotted just the elephants ,giraffes, gazelles and zebra…He had a rich source of local information and he’s become our friend
5. Their service was totally hassle free and our change in plans was also well accommodated.
6. Will definitely recommend their service for anyone and it’s a fair assessment
7. Will be back again after few years for the climb and will blindly pick them for our climb too.

Well organised, costumer friendly
We did 3 days 2 nights safari with Lomo in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. It was smoothly organised, they fullfilles individual wishes and was good value for the money. Our guide Peter was great, knowledgable, funny and not intrusive. In summary we would go with Lomo again as our tour operator.

Peter is a very nice guy with an unexpectedly good sense of humor!
As already mentioned above we really enjoyed Peter‘s company! He is really down to earth and knew when to give us some space as 3 days in a safari car can be socially exhausting for some people. So travelling with Peter just felt really natural as if you were having a good time with a friend. His sense of humor just clicked with ours which made the safari even more fun! Our accomodation was probably the most luxurious one we‘ve come across during our journey in africa.
All in all it was a great experience and everything went smoothly. Would recommend.
