Once in a lifetime adventure
We went on a 5 day private safari with my sister. We can not criticize one thing. Everything was perfectly planned, starting from the pickup at the airport, the safari and again the drop of at the airport. Also the lodges we stayed in were really high in quality. First of all I want to thank our Guide Max who gave us the wonderful experience during the safari! He has many years of experience, so much knowledge and we felt in the best hands with him. If I would do a Safari again, I would ask for him. We had an amazing time, he fullfilled all of our wishes. Also thank you to Hillary whom we've been in contact while planing everything. Thanks to Daniel who picked us up from the airport and introduced us to Tanzania and thank you to Swaleh who was our guide on our first day for a tour in Arusha. Everyone was really hospitable, we felt like home.

Unforgettable honeymoon adventure
We were so fortunate to have Patrick from Genius Kilimanjaro as our guide for our honeymoon adventure in Tanzania. Not only during our stay, but throughout the planning process months before: Patrick always made sure to help us wherever he could, making himself available to answer all our questions, and genuinely thinks along to make it an amazing trip, with fantastic accommodations and activities.
Patrick not only led us up the incredible Mount Kilimanjaro but also organized our entire journey in Tanzania afterwards: a safari and trip to Zanzibar. The climb was challenging, but the G-fighters’ (our entire Genius team on the mountain) expertise and encouragement made it an incredible experience, one we will never forget. Thank you Patrick, Godfrey, Mama Rasta and all the other guys from the Genius Family!!
After conquering the mountain, we embarked on an unforgettable safari where we saw the Big Five and many more animals in their natural habitat. Baraka the Guide had a lot of knowledge of the local wildlife and his ability to spot animals with his bare eyes from far away was truly remarkable. Above all he’s a great guy to be around!
To conclude our trip, we went to Zanzibar, where every detail of our romantic beach getaway was flawlessly arranged. Patrick’s passion for his Tanzania and commitment to ensuring our honeymoon was perfect, shone through every step of the way.

Super accomodating
Richard, our tour guide, was great! Easy going and knowledgeable. He really took his time to show us a wide variety of animals! The national park was great.
Maasai village visit was also totally worth out time.
The tour operator was also very accommodating!

Michelle created the most perfect bespoke South Africa safari for my family of five
In January 2023, I used the safari bookings website to help me plan the holiday of a lifetime for my wife, three teenage children and I in August 2023. The website was incredibly helpful for comparing different itineraries and costs. By March I had down-selected three suppliers from safari bookings website to work with to develop a bespoke package for my family. All three were excellent, and I eventually picked Michelle at 'Explore and Travel Africa' .
Michelle arranged a week's safari across two different lodges in the Kruger National Park and all transfers in between, including a day safari around the park itself, rather than just the private game reserves that the lodges were in, and a day trip to three different locations (an animal rehabilitation facility, a boat ride, and (the best ever) Elephant experience). So it was a rather complex itinerary yet Michelle arranged it faultlessly.
I loved being able to speak via whatsapp, so it wasn't just an email exchange. I also loved Michelle's breadth of knowledge of the African safari market for great suggestions. Where Michelle didn't know the answer (e.g. would a hotel configure a bedroom with suitable beds for my three adult-sized teenagers, rather than pull-out beds?), then she went the extra mile of contacting the hotels and confirming back to me. This gave me so much reassurance.
When we landed at the airport, we were met by a driver who ferried us to our first lodge. And from that moment onwards, the itinerary ran faultlessly. Drivers were always on time, lodges were arranged perfectly (and they were beautiful lodges!), and the additional activities were breathtaking (especially the Elephant experience!!).
I wholeheartedly recommend Michelle and Explore and Travel Africa to you for your next African adventure!

Organized, caring and efficient
We had a 5 day safari in tarangine Park, serengeti, ngorongoro crater and lake manyara. One adult and 2 kids. All of it was amazing. Our guides, Shuma and Brison were very helpful and took care of us. They tried with all their enthusiasm to be able to see all animals. With their persistence we saw the big 5 and even saw leopard and cheetah! They gave good information and answered to all our questions. Peter, the cook, made very tasty food for us. Nelson, the organiser, solved effectively and quickly any difficulties even apart from the safari. They all made us feel safe and welcomed to this beautiful country. I wish them all the best and I recommend the tour to anyone who is interested to go. Thanks a lot for everything

Perfect trip
The trip was very well organized from the beginning til the end.
We booked with Mamu Travels few months ago and travel beg of Dec.
Guides came to pick up us in Nairobi, on time (very punctual), we traveled in the agreed car to Masai Mara. We planned stops for coffee breaks and Rift Valley.
The Lodge was very welcoming and the hippo bar was amazing.
The game drive was excellent, guides very professional, we saw the big 4 from very close.
Then, we visited Masai Village and discovered their culture.
Amazing trip !
I recommend to anyone, Mamu travels are professional!

Outstanding guide and wildlife
Albert was excellent throughout, guiding us to some astounding wildlife in both Masai Mara and Nakuru national parks. All staff we encountered along our journey were wonderful and they contributed greatly toward the experience. The only slight issue was to do with the logisitics of having multiple tours in one vehicle but that was also navigated well, to be fair to the operators.

Traveling with Genius Kilimanjaro Climbing is not just about climbing a mountain, or going on safari. It's about being in touch with the team. We felt so well received by Patrick, being picked up at the airport, guided to the hotel, receiving a thorough brief on what to expect on the mountain, and then the climb itself. Patrick has an amazing team set up to make sure you will be okay.
I got sick on the mountain, and their care and kindness towards me is what lead to me reaching the top. Without the Genius fighters (the team), I would not have made it to the top of the Kilimanjaro, because a very large component of climbing to the top is mindset; which they made sure was at the right place.
They are very trustworthy, and Patrick will go above and beyond to make sure you have the trip of your life. We went on our honeymoon, and to the smallest detail he made sure we would have a honeymoon to never forget. They are great not only at planning trips on the mountains, but also the safari, and a relaxing stay at Zanzibar including an unforgettable swim with dolphins.

Don’t look further!
My friend and myself just finished the 8-Day Victoria Falls, Chobe NP and Okavango Delta Tour with Webster on Christmas Eve while the enquiry was handled by Owen 6 months ago.
Throughout the process and trip, both Owen and Webster were professional, accommodating and very friendly.
Despite the fact that all the activities were outsourced, we enjoyed particularly the spectacular Victoria Falls National Park and the Full-Day Safari and Early Morning Drive in Chobe National Park where we saw the big five, with the exception of the rhino. This is in addition to other animals like the hippo, giraffe, impala, hyena and others.
As for the accommodation, we enjoyed Chobe Safari Lodge as the safari room was huge, there was a pool to soak after a long day, 2 excellent restaurants (ala carte and buffet dinner) to choose from and not forgetting breakfast with sparkling wine to start the day.
Though it was not clear on a few days if all meals were included with the use of HB/HB+ instead of FB/FB+ in the itinerary, this was duly sorted out by Webster. There was also a slight delay of our journey on day 6, this was rectified with a service recovery lunch and apologies from him.
All in all, do enjoy yourself and most importantly, manage your expectations as you embark on your next amazing journey with him.
Note: A friendly tip that the Elephant Sands Lodge do not have air conditioning but the stay was still ok with the morning chirping of birds at 5am and how they kept themselves busy with their nests at the restaurant area where breakfast was served.

Amazing experience! Perfect execution!
Create Tours did a fantastic job with their safari tour. We did a 4 day tour and visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater and had the best time! We got to see all of the big five and ate amazing food. Our accommodations before, after and during the tour were done really well and everyone was friendly throughout the tour. I would definitely recommend Crater Tours to others!
