We did a 5-day safari in January covering Masai Mara, Tsavo East, and Tsavo West, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Traveling in January turned out to be a perfect choice—fewer crowds, great weather, and excellent wildlife sightings.
Masai Mara was spectacular, with wide open plains and abundant wildlife. We saw lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many other animals during our game drives. January offered clear skies and fantastic visibility, making the experience even better.
Tsavo East amazed us with its vast landscapes and famous red elephants. The parks felt peaceful and less crowded, allowing us to fully enjoy the scenery and wildlife without rush.
Tsavo West provided a beautiful contrast with its hills, volcanic landscapes, and highlights like Mzima Springs. The variety of scenery across the three parks made the safari feel well-rounded and exciting.
Our guide was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, ensuring we were comfortable and always in the best spots for wildlife viewing. Accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the entire trip was well organized.

Once we landed Emmanuel greeted us with a smile and started off to Arusha where he showed us around his hometown. The next day we were off on safari and we told Emmanuel what we wanted to see and do and he made it happen. We saw the big five, and so many more animals we didn’t even know we would see. He was so hospitable, and knew the area so well that he could find just about anything. When we had questions or slight changes we wanted to make to our plans he was happy to accommodate. I don’t think we could have had a better experience, it was awesome. Asante!

Fantastic Safari journey with highly-experienced guide
We enjoyed a 7-days itinerary (actually 5 Safari days) with Professional Safari. The journey brought us to Tarangire NP, Ngorongoro Crater, Ndutu, Serengeti NP and Lake Manyara NP. Highlights have been Ngorongoro, Ndutu and Serengeti. Ngorongoro delivers a fantastic scenery, Ndutu Game Drives feel like really being out into the wild and Serengeti is iconic with its unique landscape. Given the January season we were happy to see many cubs. Our driver Anthony is a highly experienced driver, always gentle and a pro in sharing his knowledge about Tanzanias wildlife.
Overall, we would book Professional Safari and Anthony again.

Will's organization was excellent; everything was perfect, from the itinerary and the parks to the hotels, meals, and airport transfer. We had absolutely no problems. We were able to see all the animals, and thanks to our guide, Tuma, we returned enriched by our knowledge of the flora and fauna. We now know everything there is to know about life in the bush. Sharing and exchanging ideas with our guide all day long is something I will never forget. We will be back! June was the perfect time; the weather was beautiful, with no rain and not too hot, which allowed us to see a variety of animals all day long, at all hours, from hyenas to cheetahs, elephants, lions, and their cubs.
