We had a few not so touristy places we wanted to go in Africa, not just safaris, she did a fantastic job of organising it for us. The Resort on Lake Malawi, the Resort in Vilanculos, The hotel in Lesotho, along with the safaris in Hwange and Sabi Sands were literally out of this world. We didnot want crowds….and these places were cozy, comfortable and the best of service and food!
She even came to see us at the airport in Vic Falls, when we had a very tight stopover connection.
Chloe was accommodating, which was not easy when we wanted to customized our travel and take the road less travelled. She did all of this with cheers and at a very reasonable cost to us.
She was very prompt in replying back, taking into considerations of our needs and making sure we were comfortable, as we are in our 79-80s.
We were totally surprised that she had communicated to all the lodging places that we were celebrating our 58 anniversaries…..AND every lodging has a surprise waiting for us when we arrived or at the Dinner table! Thank you Chloe!

Worked to make sure we got to see the best of everything on our safari! Super knowledgeable.
If I was going to do another safari I would use Lion King again. From beginning to end everyone I dealt with was professional and friendly. It was a great trip and our guide made sure we got to experience everything we wanted to see. He was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of info. The accommodations were wonderful. Overall a super experience!

A Dream Come True
I have dreamt of going on an African Safari since I was a teenager. My experience with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions fulfilled my dream and expectations! My husband was not as excited to go as I was, but after experiencing the 6 nights and 7 days in Tanzania, he thought it was Amazing, too!
Communicating with Paul to select tour options was informative, timely, and easy. We highly recommend our driver/tour guide Ezekiel! He is a good driver (which you need on the Safari roads) plus has a positive and easy going attitude. (We talked to other people on Safari with other companies and they were not happy with their guides. They actually asked Ezekiel for his card.)
Our tour included 1 night in Arusha, 1 night at Elewana Tarangire Treetops Lodge, 2 nights at Four Seasons Safari Lodge, and 2 nights at Neptune Ngorongoro Lodge. Highly recommend all the lodges. We went late June. The weather was perfect. Not too hot.
We saw so many animals: families of elephants, cheetah mom playing with her 3 cubs, cheetah hunt a gazelle in seconds, 4 lionesses hunting a warthog (the warthog got away!), leopard hiding in a tree, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, variety of antelopes, black rhinoceros, hippos, crocodiles, baboons & more. Amazing terrains: desert, rainforest, crater, and lake. We loved the hot air balloon ride & bush breakfast (it's expensive, but worth it, a once-in-a-lifetime experience).
I hope to return to Tanzania to have my son experience this amazing adventure. He couldn't get off work, but hopefully we will return and we will definitely work with Ezekiel & Paul again!
Things I had wondered: open jeep versus closed jeep with open canopy. There is a lot of dust & we drove from each lodge. I'm happy we had the closed jeep with canopy. The dust was probably half as bad in a closed jeep than in an open jeep & we had the option to stand which we did a lot of the time. We never felt like we missed out experiencing the animals in the closed jeep. You can open the side windows and the lions walk right beneath/beside us.
(PS I wanted to use a local tour group so the money stayed in Tanzania. We were very worried about being scammed. We were so relieved everything was legitimate and then awesome on top of that. I told them to use us as a reference, if people were worried like we were)

Amazing and surprising!
We had 3 nights in Zanzibar and went to Arusha after that — very reasonable price with a fantastic hotel and food. Excellent communications and service. Always patient and always available.

Excellent service, excellent experience
Everything was excellent: organization of the tour, description, value for money, personnel (guide, main organiser, local organiser in Maun, cook, assistants during tour). The tour itself was wonderful, we saw plenty of animals, we were excellently treated, and everything exceeded our expectations.

Memorable 5 Days
Mujuni African Adventures organized a fantastic safari for us! We went on a 5-day safari that included lodging. The food was excellent, and the lodges were ideal. We had no idea they'd be so good. James, our tour guide, was exceptional and professional. He was very knowledgeable about nature and animals, which he shared with us during our safari. We visited five national parks in a short period of time (Tarangire, Ngoro Ngoro, Serengeti, and Ndutu) and saw a wide variety of nature and animals. In addition, the price was reasonable in comparison to others, and I strongly recommend this trip. Thank you!

Great 3 day trek up Meru!
Steven was great and super helpful. Everything was taken care of and we made it to the summit just in time for sunrise. Steven was responsive and communicative.

Perfect safari with perfect people

When I decided to come to Tanzania to do a Safari with a company I searched and compares different companies and finally chose Colours Africa Tours & Safaris...Was a great decision!
Since we arrived everyone's hospitality amazed me, they always looking for you and your welfare.
Benjamin was our guide, he is a top 1 guide! Good person, funny, and with a really good knowledge of the territory. He managed to show us all the big 5, even the leopard and the rhino!!! I don't want to forgot his skills as photographer, with the binoculars and the phone he made me perfect photos of the big 5
Apart from Benjamin we had with us Babatao, the chef, the stomach engineer along the 4 days of the safari. He is another 10/10 person. Preparing for us delicious breakfast at 5 am to start our safari with energy and also being ready to cook us the lunch and the dinner to match the schedule perfectly. I cant say a meal that I didn't enjoy, everything was perfect, he even prepared for us spanish tortilla the last day (a dish from my country).
Well, apart from that 2 great persons I can say that everyone of this company is amazing like for example Oen, our driver from the airport to the safari zone.
I just can say asante sana for making my trip a perfect trip ♥️
