Wonderful, astonishing and beautiful Uganda
In August 2021 we had a two weeks holiday trip through Uganda with Big Apes Africa and Peter as a guide.
It was an astonishing experience, we have seen wonderful landscapes and a big number of the most beautiful animals including lions, elephants, zebras, gnus and a variety of birds.
Two of the most astonishing experiences where the walks through Chimbale National Parks to visit the Chimpanses and the trip into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest were we had the chance to watch a Gorilla family from close range. It was a breathtaking experience and one that we never will forget in our whole life.
Traveling Uganda we absolutely can recommend and the best way is choosing Big Apes Africa.

Amazing
I’ve done a 4day Safari organized by Suricata and everything has been perfectly planned: picking up, Hotel safari, meals, guiding tours, etc.
I want to underline the good quality of the jeep (option of charging phones and cameras, space between seats, sometimes music during long ways…) and also the really tasty, traditional healthy meals that Tito cooked specially for us.
The safari also went as planned and everyday we had a briefing of what we were going to see and do.
I would 100% recommend Suricata

Beyond the gorillas
We have just arrived from a trip to Uganda organized by Gorilla Bookings. We would like to strongly recommend them as everything turned out perfectly. Delivering outstanding performance for 5 days safari in Tanzania
When we first interacted with Issa of Migration Venture Africa, he professionally inquired about what we were after in our safari experience. When we responded with issues, he responded with recommendations. He made our arrangements and followed through when initially they could not be completed, and he explained the steps of how safari camp bookings were done. Every interaction with him was professional and he responded quickly to each issue and email. In the end, every detail was covered, we were prepared for all the steps and everything worked like clockwork. Great and Affordable Safari Tour Operator!
What a great company! I walked into the office to see what they had on offer - the next morning I was on my way joining a 5-day budget Safari to Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha, and Hells Gate led by our amazing guide Dan Castro. His talent and experience really showed as he made sure the whole trip went smoothly - and more importantly that we spotted a wide-range of different animals (incl. The Big Five and the wildebeest migration). Dan really went out of his way to make sure we had a front-row seat to the spectacle of Kenyan safari. To give an example: we had a rare sighting of a leopard, saw two lions successfully hunt a zebra and spotted a lion high up in a tree. I feel very lucky and privileged to have seen such sights.
Dan's ability to drive in difficult circumstance also really stood out during the trip as the park provide some challenging terrain. I personally also very much appreciated the music he would play (Dan has excellent taste) during long hauls between different national parks.
Karibu safaris was also really flexible when I wanted to make a change to my booking. I initially booked a 6-day safari, but asked to switch to 5-days during the safari in order to stay with the group (as the others were staying for only 5-days). Dan contacted the office in Nairobi and ensured this was no problem.
Do make sure to bring enough extra cash during the safari, because there are some hidden costs, such as bike rentals, Masai village entry and of course lots and lots of tipping.
