Glorious
Tanzania was an amazing experience. We were in Dar, Arusha, and Stone town with a safari to the Serengeti and it was simply incredible!
I would advise researching your safari quite a bit - we opted for Soul of Tanzania and it was not our favorite.

Fantastic
From pickup to drop off, our tour guide was fantastic. He was so informative throughout our week together and had everything planned. He spent most spare time confirming plans, reservations and ensuring we received all aspects of the itinerary and experiences. We not only enjoyed all the planned activities and sights, but the guide gave us a history lesson and background information during transfers, driving through towns and regions and on all aspects of South Africa. He would make a great history teacher and newspaper editor.
Will be going back and ensuring we travel with Wildlife Safaris with Simon Taylor as our guide.

Efficient, caring and very good at the job!
We wanted to travel to South Africa to go on safari but had a very limited time frame and window of opportunity. After going online to see what was available, we contacted African Welcome Safaris to enquire what could be arranged. All I can say is...what wonderful service. Every enquiry was answered efficiently, competently and with a friendliness that welcomed you to ask questions no matter how silly they appeared . They worked around our schedule and times and found us the most fabulous safari that we could ever ask for. I cannot recommend this company highly enough, Kathi was a dream to deal with and I will recommend them to all our friends and family . We had the most amazing time and we had 2 teenage boys with us that loved every minute of the experience. Thank you!

Wilson has an incredible ability to spot birds and animals hidden in trees or hiding on the savannah
The experience was life changing. Wilson Lucas found birds and animals we feared we wouldn't get to see. Even when he pointed to where the animal was, we often couldn't see it until he brought us much closer. It's like he has telescopic vision. And his knowledge of the animals was encyclopedic, making the adventure all the more interesting. We will be asking for him by name on our next safari!

Safaring with Jimmy
We had an awesome tour with Jocky Tours and our brilliant guide, Jimmy. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel, until the moment he dropped us back at our hotel, Jimmy was engaging, knowledgeable, thoughtful, funny, and respectful. He’s an excellent driver, and I always felt safe, even when driving fast through the park, on the chase for a new sighting. It was great value for money, and next time I’m back, I will make sure to have Jimmy as my guide again. 5/5.

The best
It was excellent. Our guide was Stanley. This Safari was beyond expectations, we saw everythin, and we are grateful for his efforts, excellent observation and knowledge of the terrain. I must especially highlight his commitment to bring us literally a few meters from almost every animal we saw, and thanks for the large amount of information about each animal that he selflessly conveyed to us. This was an unforgettable experience.

Got to see Elephant heards in Amboseli
Walk next to Zebras and Giraffes and a boat tour with hippos in Lake Naivasha
And the most spectacular scenery not to mention seeing lions and lionesses, cheetahs, leopards, many zebras, elephants, giraffes, wildbeasts, Tobis and more

Wonderful experience!
My husband and I used Gems of Africa Safari & Tours to book 2 luxury safari experiences while vacationing in South Africa for 2 weeks. We started planning 6 months in advance.
