Megan Warrington from Discover Africa was awesome. I actually used two different operators for safaris (Megan for South Africa and another for Botswana) and she was a lot more timely, helpful and organized. Also, Megan can handle your bookings in Botswana as well so in hindsight, I should have used her for all my travels!

Operator that was trustworthy and reliable, and Pamela ended up exceed our expectations in so many ways. Our drivers were knowledgeable and fun, we built a strong bond with them (to the point that my son still talks about our driver!). Pamela went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves, and gave us parting gifts so we would never forget our time in Kenya. She is trustworthy and invested in your vacation, making sure it is memorable. I would use her again if I went back to Kenya.

We had the most remarkable family tour with james ( marurumi safaris). Not only everything was perfect, but we felt, in every instance, that our guide cared about us, both the kids and adults, and did his best to make this trip memorable.
For our well-traveled children (age 2-9) and adults this definitely has become the most eye-opening, adventurous, and stunning journey of our lifes - something we will remember, draw upon, and cherish for many years to come. James was amazing from airport pick up to drop off .

These guys are awesome, from the early planning to the goodbye at the end!
We went on safari with Green Tours in December 2022, and also used them to plan our trip to Zanzibar. They are outstanding! We started working out an itinerary in early summer and went through several versions before landing on the adventure that was perfect for us. And it was!
Johnny, the person in charge, is great. He's very responsive and always accommodating. He shared his cell number and was available all the time. He also really cares that his clients are well cared for and enjoying themselves. Indeed, he called or texted every day to ask how things were going and what exciting things we did. He was VERY attentive!
Our guide for the safari, Livingston, became beloved by our family (we spent almost a full week together). He is very professional but fun. He is extremely knowledgeable about animal behavior and the environment. He worked very hard to ensure a memorable experience, was always flexible and often made changes "on the fly" if he thought a better plan was possible. Perhaps most importantly, he seems to really love his job. There were a couple times where, when we saw something special, he was just as excited as us!
There are lots of options out there for safari in Tanzania. I can't speak about the others, but I feel confident that anyone who chooses Green Tours will be very happy.

An amazing experience that didn't require us to lift a finger!
If you are planning a trip to Africa, Go Kenya Tours and Safaris is definitely the company to go with. We spent 10 days across Kenya and Rwanda for our honeymoon and absolutely loved the whole experience. From the minute we landed in Nairobi right up until our departure from Kigali, we were looked after by this amazing team. They did everything you would expect from a travel agent and more! Their lodge recommendations were absolutely amazing. To provide context, in a trip that also included the Maldives and Dubai, Africa still stood out (glamping at its absolute best)!
Also, I must point out that whilst Africa is definitely an expensive place to travel, Go Kenya Tours and Safaris were definitely the most reasonably priced and were willing to work with our budget (rather than simply recommend a bunch of lodges that they were affiliated with - which is what many of the other tour companies do).
Overall, our experience was one that will live with us forever and we do have to thank Claire, Bush Pilot and the team at Go Kenya Tours and Safaris - we will definitely be back!

I would award more than 5 stars if that was possible! Go Kenya were superb in every respect in arranging my 10 day safari in Kenya during the 2022 Christmas holidays. Everything was first class, every step of the way. Highly recommended.

The Morningstar team, Tume and Dennis, were prompt and transparent in all their communication while coordinating our safari, and were great at ensuring all our desires were met. As people that are very used to organizing trips for ourselves, the team's frequent check-ins throughout the booking process helped put us at ease that we were in good hands and the details were being taken care of.
The safari itself reflected the agreed-upon itinerary and our guide, Alex M., was prompt, informative and energetic throughout the trip. This was our first safari experience and we witnessed more than we could have ever hoped for, including seeing the Big Five, multiple kills, and tons of adorable baby animals in three beautiful parks (Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara). There's no way this would have been possible, had it not been for Morningstar and their vast knowledge of the parks and wildlife. Our accommodations and additional activities were top notch as well.
This trip was one for the books, and we would absolutely book with Morningstar again in the future. You're in great hands with them!
