Great experience in Uganda with Silverback!
My wife and I have just returned from an amazing trip to Uganda with the Silverback team. Our trip started with some issues with the airline and we had to make an unplanned stopover in Rwanda (delaying the start of our tour). The Silverback team supported us with hotel reservations and recommendations in Rwanda and rearranged the tour so that we lost the least of our tour.
During the tour itself, we can say that the hotels, the food and the care and attention to detail we got from our guide (David K) were outstanding, always. We also had a great experience with the highlights of the tour (the chimpanzee and the gorilla trekkings, actually seeing many chimps and gorillas at close range and within a very organized and professional experience.
On the con side, I can only mention Uganda’s roads which, of course, are not Silverback’s fault! And my only complaint is only about their quality, because my wife and I felt safe and secure during our whole stay in Uganda.

Excellent tour
We had a great time in Ngorongoro, the serengeti and tarangire national parks. Bartho was very helpful in organizing, Andrew was a great guide and machete an excellent chef. I saw the big 5 and the scenery was stunning. Definitely would book again.

Safariline Defender Tours Provided a Thrilling Opportunity to Explore the Maasai Mara. Our guide did an amazing job, both getting to the park and driving through the park. He was able to find all Big 5 as well as a cheetah hunting a wildebeest (Whoa! What an alluring experience, Looked like in the "The land of Big Cats - Disney"), hundreds of giraffes, zebras, hippos and all kinds of antelopes, all in the same day! The accommodations exceeded our expectations with a good hot water shower.. Rose and her group have my deepest gratitude.

Trip of a lifetime!
I would definitely recommend this safari to everyone. The vehicles were clean, comfortable and had AC! The guide was knowledgeable and fun to talk to throughout the trip. We stayed at the Twiga Safari Lodge. I was pleasantly surprised at the accommodations. It was glamping, but with plug ins to charge your devices and a fan to keep you cool. I was also surprised by the awesome grotto style shower. Seriously...falling asleep to the sounds of hippos talking and grazing outside! I can't explain how cool that was. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. There was no shortage of delicious food either. I went on a 2 day safari that covered both time on the Nile river and the grassland. We saw so many animals. I cannot put into words the feeling of being that close to the animals in their natural habitat. It was amazing, and I got the best pictures that I will cherish forever. We even got to have a delicious breakfast out in the bush.
I will most definitely return again.

My family and I had an amazing Six days safari in Kenya,Africa with Leisure Escapes Safaris. Everything was well planned. We visited Masai Mara, Naivasha and Amboseli Park.

The Complete Package, No need to shop anywhere Else
Whilst we were visiting the Chobe area in Botswana after a lot of research on local operators i came across Kalahari Tours. After making enquiries to which their responses were quick, informative and unbiased we decided to make a variety of bookings with them for our time there.
We booked a 3 day 2 night Chobe camping trip, a day trip to Victoria Falls with a short notice change to wanting to add a helicopter trip and finally a full day on the Chobe river to finish out time there.
For each of the bookings the whole team were enthusiastically welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for the team, even deciding to throw in a curve ball of a last minute request for a helicopter trip. This request was met with a simple "leave it to us we will make it happen". Amazing
The team that looked after us on each of the tours were warm, friendly and welcoming. But above all they were knowledgeable and showed their love for the environment and animals in the area. Lance and the kitchen team on the camping trip were simply amazing and responded to requests from all people on tour. I do believe we managed to see everything in this 3 day trip (Lions, Leopards (multiple times) Elephants, Crocodiles, Jackals, Fish Eagles and the glorious Martial Eagle. (Thank you Lance). Memorable moment was via a trailcam we left after a Leopard had made a kill in the night just by camp, when Kalahari Tours say wild camping it truly is
George who we must thank for his patience with us on the river for the whole day as we pointed, asked and requested this and that. He, again, came up trumps with all sorts of birds and wildlife. I do believe we saw and photographed 5 different types of Kingfisher and had aclose encounter with a Hippo which made us chuckle.
I forget the names but the help provided in navigating customs and immigration on our day trip to Zimbabwe as well as the driver guide providing assistance on the Zimbabwe side was immense.
All in all these guys exceeded our expectations but above all delivered some truly memorable moments that after 2 South African safaris i thought we would never be able to beat. But they did. I would absolutely have no hesitation of saying for "Your best Chobe moments, choose Kalahari Tours".
