So helpful - made the trip!
After vetting several travel companies in search of help planning our trip to Africa, we fell into the hands of Cearl from East Cape Tours. I had submitted enquiries on countless safari lodge websites, and her response was punctual and helpful. I spoke with Cearl on the phone for roughly an hour, describing what we were looking for, and she presented full itineraries for a few various safari options. Once our decision was made, she communicated with the property on our behalf -- sending everything from arrival and departure details, room requests, dietary restrictions, etc. and even succeeded in getting us a more competitive rate.
Every detail went off without a hitch. All of our transfers appeared as promised right on time, and our safari experience was UNBELIEVABLE. We decided on Ulusaba, and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Thank you to Cearl and East Cape Tours for guiding us through some of these challenging decisions and action items. It was the trip of a lifetime!

The experience of our lives with the best guide who has become a friend.
We did a 3 day Safari with a one day stop in Arusha. Our guide Rodrick made us very comfortable straight away. We started with the breathtaking scenery of the Ngorongoro and were immediately greeted by lots of giraffes. Rodrick knew that we all wanted to see a lion and his eyes are like the eyes of an eagle and he is very attentive and did everything possible for us to see a lion. We saw more than one on the first day and it was amazing! We spent the first night in the Serengeti in a Camp amongst the animals and it was one of the best experiences of our lives! We spent another night at Ngorongoro Crater and were surprised by elephants right in front of the room. An unforgettable moment to see them so close. We got to see the big 5 and it was absolutely amazing very much to the credit of our guide Rodrick. He is super professional, punctual, very attentive and we were very lucky to have him with us, it was super fun! A person who became our friend and the goodbye was very hard. <3
Not forgetting Marta, our journey designer. A super kind person, she did everything to meet our wishes, was very patient and always available to help and clarify the many doubts we had.

Great Tour with the whole family
We had a great tour with the whole family - parents, kids, grandparents. Our tourguide was funny and had a lot of knowledge. We saw almost every animal we wanted and the lunch, so as the lunch place, was great. I would book again ;)

Excellent company and amazing safari!
This review is long overdue but hopefully better late than never! My husband and I did an 8-day safari with KETS and we loved every minute of it. Our guide was Paul and he was wonderful. The booking process was so easy and we were able to customize our itinerary exactly how we wanted it. Paul was great about answering all our questions and was always very quick to respond. On safari, Paul was very knowledgeable about every location we went to and knew the best spots for wildlife. He was very patient with all our questions and requests. Thank you Paul for the trip of a lifetime! We will definitely be back, hopefully next time with the kids!

Very nice and informing trips.
We took a tour to the spice farm and Stone town. It was a very good trip and i have learnd alot of new things about the spices and the town. It was super hot that day but we had a good car with air conditioning and water was available all the time.

We had a wonderful holiday . Cape Town was vibrant and interesting our hotel was perfectly situated and the food and atmosphere of the waterfront area was superb . The holiday was a combination of city break and then seeing some of the natural wonders and landscape of the Cape province . The small boutique hotels were lovely both comfortable with impeccable service . The restaurant at Rosenhof was lovely and the standard of food and service excellent . Our guide Annie was delightful she was knowledgeable and gave our trip a historical and cultural perspective . She was very good company without being intrusive and we felt we had made a friend . The kanonkop hotel was unique and we felt like we were staying in house rather than a hotel . We felt very safe throughout the holiday .I would not hesitate to recommend our holiday and wished we had had more time

Knowledgeable, thoughtful, reliable and fun!
I have visited South Africa many times. Since my first safari with Bongani in 2008, I have always chosen to ride with him (12 different years in total). Why? Because Bongani is the best there is. He manages to find the animals that everyone else is merely looking for, he listens to his passengers and makes decisions about the safari based on their wants and needs, he is incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and their behavior and he is warm and fun to be around. Recently, Bongani built his own lodge and I had the pleasure of staying there in May 2022. The rooms are first class--large and roomy with all the amenities. Outside is a pool and comfortable spaces for lounging, visiting and eating their excellent South African food and the lodge is in Bongani's village so that guests can walk around and enjoy village life. In addition, the lodge is only 15 minutes from Kruger Park; safaris are tiring and at the end of the day it is wonderful to get home to one's lodgings so quickly. When I return, I will definitely ride with and stay with Bongani. I guarantee that you will have a wonderful experience with Bongan Safaris too.
