Amazing experience up Kilimanjaro
I will admit, I was a bit doubtful about hiking Kilimanjaro with Suricata since it seems like they specialize in safaris and when you do something like this you want knowledgeable and experienced guides. DONT let that deter you. Fredi, Omary, and Augusti were amazing guides with over a DECADE of experience and 100s of summits. (For reference we did the 7 day lemosho route)
First off, the logistics and communication was amazing. Hilary (the company owner) responded to all our questions and concerns and was super patient with us. Setting up our pickup/drop off, hotel stay and everything was taken care of and included.
The guides always focused with our goal of not only making it up the mountain, but making it up safely. They checked in on us multiple times a day to make sure we were feeling well and even if we weren’t they did everything in their power to make sure we were while still pushing us to reach our goal. They honestly felt like family by the time we got down the mountain. They were all super knowledgeable and complimented each other very well. All of them were also super transparent to us and made sure we were transparent to them to make sure we had the best chances of summiting.
The porters did an insane job. For a group of 7 we had 21 porters that moved our duffels, tents, dining tents, bathroom, etc from campsite to campsite every day. They took great care of us as well while at the campsite, looking after us, and tending to our needs. I can’t stress how much of a difference the porters make for the experience. I always felt safe with them and they were amazing to meet and talk to as well throughout the 7 day exeperience.
The cooks were also great. While maybe not the most glamorous food, the food was delicious every day, every meal, and the chefs did an amazing job handling all of our groups dietary restrictions.
Finally, I really can’t describe how special and amazing Suricata made this journey for us. Many of us were doubtful at various points if we would make it to the summit due to altitude, stomach issues and just feeling unwell, but the whole crew really gave it their all and made sure we made it up and down the mountain safely! It never felt like it was their job to get us to the top of this mountain. It was like they wanted us at the top from the bottom of their heart.
Amazing experience and service all around.
From the beginning to the end, Roman (our guide) and Salim (our chef) were amazing. Roman was super knowledgeable and was literally able to answer all of our questions while Salim cooked us food way better than I expected in the middle of the Serengeti. While a safari in general is spectacular, Suricata took it above and beyond with their service and expertise! Not only did they give us a wonderful experience of the safari, but communication was amazing and coordination of stay, transportation, etc was all taken care of.
All of this was done at an amazing price point!

Incredible safari
We booked a safari with Mbio Mbio Safaris who came recommended by a friend that went on this trip, and it was the best decision we could have made! Zawadi helped to arrange and customize the trip to our needs and was available to us 24/7. The itinerary was very detailed, and everything was organized seamlessly as described. Our driver, Siya was exceptional. His knowledge and passion for his job and the animals were incredible. He helped make our trip a memorable one.

Very nice and Beautiful country
Surely in France we have the best food in the world but Tanzania they have the most authentic and natural food i have ever taste, everything from there tasted real organic food, we had this Amai zing tour with superb Tanzania and they prepared and organize everything accordingly. Starting from the nature itself we saw a lot of animal including this big five and they even dare to take us to a very rare places where we could only find ourselves alone enjoying the nature there. we were amazed by the food and it was all out of what we expected it was more it was the best. This is the company worthy Travel with. The service is obsoletely 5 star rate!!!

Excellent safari experience, memories for a lifetime
We booked a 2 day private safari from Zanzibar to Tarangire and Ngorogoro park. A driver picked us up at our hotel in Zanzibar and brought us to the airport. Our guide in Tanzania was Laurian. His knowledge about every animal was astonishing. He made all our wishes come true and did his best so I could take the best pictures ever. Our close encounter with a lion and his girl/wife ;) was unbelievable.
For the night we stayed in the wonderful five star hotel Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge. The staff there was very friendly and the food excellent. Apparently we were so lucky that we actually saw the big five during those 2 days!
If you like wildlife and nature, then a safari in Tanzania with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions is a must. Needless to say that this safari was a breathtaking experience and me and my girlfriend have a lifetime of wonderful memories.
