Good with communication and managing needs.
4/5

The trip was well organised and we were looked after well. No issues with any financial transactions.
Hotels were clean and provided good buffet meals.
Our safari guide in Kenya,Jackson was very attentive and went out of his way to show us as much as possible. We had a good Toyota cruiser, 6 seater for 4 travellers
Issue we had were with vehicle breakdown on 2 of out 8 days safari. We lost 2 half days. However given the terrain it is no wonder vehicles breakdown. However I feel there could have been some small compensation given our loss of day and unlikely we will return to Kenya, Tanzania.
On the whole, I would recommend the agent.

Great safari
4/5

It was very lucky to have Francis traveling with us. Actually, most of the stars should attribute to this professional and funny guide as we really had a great time on safari.
However, there are some reminds for all visitors, especially for Chinese visitors: if you want to choose this company, firstly, double check and make sure the hotels meet your requirements before booking. Otherwise, they will ask for extra money after changing your hotels when you have already checked in. Secondly, the meals included might be different from specified in the itinerary. We had two missing dinners which were included according to the plan.
Thirdly, always figure out the price before letting them arranging your activities. They have that habit to make the prices vague and to keep the changes even if you are not mean to.
In addition, Serengeti is always the best choice. Other national parks like Arusha national park might be small. As for the Haozabe tribe, you should go only under the interest of hunting and be prepared for the tips for local guides and donations for local community. Don’t buy the handcrafts because they are expensive and even if you have already bought some trying to support their community, still they’ll ask you for donations directly.
Overall, always get all the information before making decisions, be careful of the hidden costs!!

Good tour guide (Francis), but some minor hiccups in accommodation arrangement
4/5

We booked a 7 days tour to Masai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha lake and Amboseli. Overall trip was pleasant, the tour guide Francis has been very helpful and professional.

We had some hiccups on accommodation arrangement on day 5 with Wildebeest camp. The camp management insisted that Jocky tour did not confirmed the booking with them, thus when we have arrived at the camp around 8pm, rooms were not ready, we finally settled down in a room with single bed and had to survive the night without electricity and hot water. It was a nightmare to experience that after travelling a long 8 hours from Nakuru. We wished Jocky tour would have been more professional in handling this issue, but we have not heard more from them despite writing in to complain officially.

Incredible safari experience, accommodation could be better
4/5

Highlights:
1. The safari experience: Exceeded expectations. Every day for seven days was action-packed and an amazing adventure by itself. Watching the animals in their natural habitat is unforgettable experience.
2. Safari guide and driver Francis: Perfect timing, flawless execution, top guy.
3. Food: I enjoyed the food more than I would admit. The food throughout the tour hit the right notes for me.

Lowlights:
1. Me and my partner were checked in to an overbooked camp and had to endure one night in a single bedroom without electricity and hot shower. In my opinion, the arrangement could be done better between the tour operator and the accommodation.

Serengeti Smile is attentive, well-organised, and makes your safari seamless — just request a guide
4/5

I had a clear idea of what I wanted my trip to be, and Serengeti Smile accommodated it perfectly. Patricia was always just a WhatsApp message away, making it easy to adjust plans and brainstorm ideas. Everything — flights, transfers, and accommodations — was flawlessly organised. We had three nights in the northern Serengeti for the migration, then moved on to Ngorongoro for two nights at the beautiful Naserian Camp. The lodges were excellent, safe, and friendly, and our driver ensured we had cold drinks and everything we needed on long days. His English, however, was limited, and for English-speaking guests I’d recommend requesting a guide with strong English for a more engaging experience. Overall, a fantastic and well-run trip that I’d highly recommend.

The trip to Tanzania was a dream come true! I saw so many animals in their habitat which was so impressive and can’t be put into words. It was also fun to learn about local culture! Thanks to our operator Kiliclimb Africa Safari, we saw all the Big 5 and learnt about Serengeti, Ngorongoro. Highly recommended!!

About: Tanzania
All the wild animals in a very changing landscape
Overall rating
4/5

Tanzania is the perfect place if you want to admire wild animals in ever-changing settings. You'll see elephants in the grasslands near the river or see them emerge from the forest. You'll travel from the Serengeti plains to the lakes of Ngorongoro or Manyara.
The Serengeti itself is so vast that its landscape is constantly changing, and with it the animals that inhabit it.
It's highly commendable that the camps and lodges don't use artificial waterholes to attract animals.
The whole country, in general, is very hospitable. The hotels we encountered were always spotless and the people were friendly.

Review about Serengeti National Park by Gianluca de Caprio
Overall rating
4/5

The Serengeti is a huge park, full of wildebeest (I was there during the Great Migration) and zebras. Every now and then, a rock formation stands out against the landscape, sheltering groups of lions or a cheetah.
It takes several days to explore, and it can be a wonderful experience to sleep in a tented camp inside the park.
One word of caution: avoid the Great Migration. It's certainly a unique event, but unfortunately, it attracts too many tourists. I found myself watching the crossing of the Mara River along with at least 50 other cars. Only the closest five or six could see anything; everyone else could only see the roofs of their cars.

A dream come true!
4/5

Suricatas Safari made my lifelong dream of a Tanzanian safari come true. We visited Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, and Lake Manyara, each offering breathtaking landscapes and incredible wildlife encounters. Our guide, Emanuel, was outstanding — knowledgeable, patient, and with an amazing eye for spotting animals, including a rare black rhino and a pair of lions on their honeymoon!
Everything was perfectly organized, from the comfortable vehicle to the well-planned itinerary. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania.

Professional, accomodating and value for money tour operator
4/5

My dad and I travelled to Kenya in June this year for his birthday. We did a tour of Amboseli, Nakuru, Naivasha and Mara. Teddy was very helpful in suggesting the right itinerary. His package cost was very competitive and value for money. He can arrange tours based on your budget.
Our guide and driver, Willy, was an amazing person. My dad was impressed by the kind of service and help provided by Willy.
There was one bad experience as the hotel that was booked in Mara was a very bad one. Willy went out of the way to look for an alternate hotel in the middle of the night in Mara. Unfortunately most hotels were booked for the night.
Teddy was professional enough to book an alternate hotel for the next day at no additional cost.
I would have rated the tour experience a 5 star, except for that one bad night. Otherwise the trip was near perfect.
I would recommend Tedwats to all my friends who want to visit Kenya
