Experience of a Lifetime!
Splendid vacations put together the most incredible trip for us! Our Safari guide James picked us up at the Airport hotel and immediately began building rapport making us feel comfortable and ready to enjoy our first safari under his guidance. From his excellent driving to knowledge about animals and true desire to make sure we had the most incredible experience, we couldn’t have asked for more! All of the accommodations in which we stayed exceeded our expectations and the hospitality level was so high with everyone being so friendly and asking what they could do to make our stay most enjoyable. We will certainly be recommending James, our tour director Maryann and splendid vacations, to our friends and family.

Nicholas is a true professional
My wife and I love to travel and we diligently research travel options. We narrowed the east Africa tour companies to five, then interviewed three and Nicholas stood head and shoulders above the rest. We were mainly interested in primates so we decided Uganda had more to offer than Rwanda. We did not want a canned tour. Nicholas arranged, small airplane travel to Bwindi then our guide transported us to Queen Elizabeth Park for a river Safari and then finally Kibale for chimpanzee trekking. Initially we were a little concerned about safety, but the people of Uganda are so kind. Especially the men are quick to laugh. Our guide Justus had family from the area so he easily spoke with everyone along the trip and we felt very comfortable. We also decided to visit Tanzania where wildebeest and zebras were birthing their calves for the beginning of the great circular migration. Nicholas was able to coordinate all of the small plane travel within Uganda as well as the international plane travel to Tanzania. There were some last-minute flight changes, as usual, and Nicholas was always available and he contacted us during each transition to make sure everything went smoothly. The lodges he recommended were excellent. Nicholas is a true professional much like I remember travel agents in the United States in the 1900s. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing Adventures, Landscapes, and Animal Viewing
Booking with Nature Travel Namibia was an easy experience. Pepi clearly communicated a proposed itinerary, cost, and finalized our itinerary according to our requests. Ahead of the trip Pepi reached out to confirm our bookings, notify us who our guide would be, as well as providing a general packing list and what to expect. We highly recommend starting the trip by heading south and then working up towards Etosha. Some of the highlights were spending time on the coast, eating fresh seafood, spending time in the national parks which were amazing for seeing nature, and exploring the dunes. The landscape of Namibia has a lot of variety and even driving five minutes it looks like you are in a different world.
Mr. Lucky was our travel guide and he went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. He is a very experienced guide! He had great tips for us while trying game meat, explaining the language dialects, and spotting wild life.
One downside was some of our accommodations seemed more dated and in need of updating. However, the overall experience was still amazing! We would love to travel back to Namibia again and would consider booking future travel adventures with Nature Travel Nambia.

Arusha National Park
This was our second time using Tanzania Songbirds Safaris. Isreal and Daudi didn't disappoint. They were so knowledgeable about the animals and land. The walking section definitely made the day perfect. Lunch at the lake was amazing and were the views. I appreciated our game driver's cadence for stops. We had a ton of great sightings and close encounters.

My husband and I met working close to Mwanza many years ago. It was so special for us to relive our time in this wonderful part of the world. There were five of us, including our young friend who managed to meet family in Burundi. We had an awesome trip on safari, animals so close Tenting camps a super experience. Juma was a spectacular guide, changed schedules easily, with excellent advice and always a smile. Our safari driver was the best with so many stories to tell. This made our trip. Nongwi in the north of Zanzibar was a beautiful place to relax, take boat trips and swim in the turquoise ocean. So much to see and experience and we all loved it.

Fantastic
My tour of Addis Ababa was absolutely fantastic! My guide, Saleamlak was knowledgeable, professional, and full of energy—bringing the city’s deep history, culture, and beauty to life en-route and at every stop. From the breathtaking views at Mount Entoto to the meeting Lucy and visit at the National Museum and the traditional coffee experience.
Even though it was a Sunday we could still experience the amazing Merkato Market, every moment was rich with learning and joy. I left with a deeper appreciation for Ethiopia’s vibrant heritage and warm hospitality. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Addis Ababa!

The climb of Kilimanjaro with Kilimanjaro Wikings was an incredible experience. The crew—from the porters, to the waiter, to the guides—was professional, organized, and available for every one of our needs.
The guides were very humane and professional in sharing both the difficult moments and the joyful ones. They provided great human and logistical support for any situation or problem. Conrad and Prosper were essential in helping us reach the summit, and we will be grateful to them for the rest of our lives.
The food was very good and the transportation was excellent.
