Soon after claiming our luggage at the airport a big sign with our names printed on it welcomed us. We felt honored as the company representative greeted us with a smile and a hearty laughter. By the time we arrived at our beautiful hotel, we had learned a lot of facts about the country and it’s people. We were treated as relatives who have been away for so long. The company’s fleet of well maintained jeeps assured us of safety and comfort. There was even ice chest and an animal and bird library. We felt spoiled every part of the day. Our driver-guide was the best!!! Joe knew every plant, animal and birds by name that we called him our walking encyclopedia! We couldn’t choose a better company than Wilder. I am grateful to Bartho, the owner of the company, that he was able to put together a group for me, since I was traveling alone, for exactly the days that I requested.
Our guide and driver, Prays, showed us an incredible amount of wild animals and brought us to the right place in minutes. Thanks to him, many breathtaking moments were captured on our cameras and eyes.
Dula, our chef, prepared delicious breakfasts/lunches/dinners for us.
Safari is one of the best things that happened to me, because seeing this wild world of animals with my own eyes and becoming a part of this world while camping is an unforgettable emotion and experience!
It was during the safari that I received the news that Russia had started a war against Ukraine and it was very hard to enjoy the trip while my heart was breaking from pain for my native country and fear for relatives and friends.
I am very grateful for all the support given to me and the kindness of our entire team with whom I shared these 4 days of incredible safari. I appreciate it very much!

Safari Masters!
Booked a 4-day safari encompassing Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Westway Safaris were very responsive in all communication from the first contact Rafael, our tour designer, managed to book a custom package in accordance with our wishes on a very short notice. The accommodation was excellent throughout. Livingstone, our driver and guide, was simply phenomenal - he knows literally everything about the area and its flora and fauna and seemed to have a sixth sense about where to find the different species of animals. Consequently, the tour never had a dull moment as there was always something new to see. We might have been lucky, but during a relatively short safari we saw cheetahs, leopards, lions, rhinos and a crocodile as well as the more numerous elephants, zebras and impalas. A particularly nice touch (which others have mentioned) is the warm lunch, which we enjoyed using metal plates, goblets and cutlery so no concerns about plastic waste :) In short - Westway Safari are professionals from start to finish and we had the trip of a lifetime.

One of the best experiences I ever had, best quality, good value for money, friendly and informative
I had amazing experience. I loved the vehicle and the driver who was an amazing guide too and he was very friendly. I loved the vehicle as it was very spacious. My wife, I and my 11 month old kid had it all for ourselves for quite a reasonable price. We saw the animals from the open roof few meters away from us. Communication via text and call with the manager was smooth and easy too. She was very responsive.

A memorable trip from start to finish. If you are coming to Uganda and want to do a trip like this, book with these guys. Their knowledge and understanding of how to make a trip perfect from start to finish is second to none. Levan our driver, was fantastic. We really enjoyed his company, and during the game drive, he noticed a lions tail sticking out of a bush from 50 M’s away. We ended up seeing a family of five because of his sharp eyes. The accommodation and food were fantastic. Such an amazing experience.
