Excellent Tour Through Kenya and Tanzania
5/5

Morningstar organized very interesting safaris. Thanks our guid Perter in Kenya and Mustafa in Tanzania, we met all the marvelous wild animals we wanted to see such as lions, leopard, cheetah, rhino etc in our safaris through Masai Mara, Serengetti, Ngorongoro and Amboseli. Our guides are familiar with all the animals' behaviors, and are so sharp to find animals so far away.

Although it's wet season now but the driving skills of our guides gave us great African massages : )

Thank you morningstar for a greate experience in our lifetime

It is a fabulous experience. The best choice we have made is chosen this tour agency.
5/5

It is a excellent experience. Our guide tour is really responsible and rich- experienced. We saw various animals, especially lions many times. Our guide tour told us many knowledge and stories behind these animals. And the hotels is really nice. It is a perfect combination between nature and comfort environment. Food is tasty too. It is unforgettable travel, and if we come to Kenya again, we will choose this agency. This is the best choice we have made.

Great Kenya and Tanzania Safari experience with Ways of Africa!
5/5

We had the best Safari experience with Ways of Africa! We went to both Kenya and Tanzania and Paul arranged for everything including accommodating our sudden change of plans and making sure we were comfortable from the time we landed to the time we left Kenya.
We visited Amboseli National Park in Kenya staying at Kibo Safari Camp and Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park and Lake Manyara in Tanzania. Along the way we stayed in some of the most beautiful Lodges and Resorts like Kibo, Tarangire Sopa Lodge, Ngorongoro Serena, Serengeti Serena and Lake Manyara Serena. The stay, travel in Land Cruiser, the very helpful and ever vigilant guides and food was all very good and enjoyable. Highly recommend Ways of Africa for your Kenya and Tanzania tours!

5/5

Thank you to Kalahari Tours and Opi for an amazing Chobe adventure. Opi is knowledgeable about all animals and birds and also knows all the right lighting and can turn the boat and the Land Cruiser to get the best pictures and also selfies! Everyone was helpful and the company seems very responsible. What an amazing day that our family will never forget.

Careful consideration to find the right time and place
5/5

This is my first safari and I'm not experienced enough to make a comparison with other tour operators as I only have information from the internet. Therefore, I wrote my subjective experiences and opinions.

First of all, the vehicle, I thought that A/C would be necessary because it was rather hot during the day, but the feature of the traveling was such that we often traveled with the windows and roof open, so A/C did not seem to be a very important factor.
The vehicle gets dirty easily as almost travel on off-road and mud, water area, but the driver(guide) washed the vehicle daily, in and outside, so we always used a clean vehicle.

Secondly, the experience of the driver (guide) seems to be important. The ability to spot animals on game drives and drive on rough roads is very important. Most of the time they share information about the animals' spot, but sometimes on the road we were able to find and show us animals that other guides had passed by, or safely navigate muddy roads to save time, giving us more time to see the animals.

Thirdly, I felt that the driver(guide)'s sociability and speech was also important - too little or too much talk can make the traveling boring or exhausting, and my guide was very good at explaining things in context at right time and was very knowledgeable about the animals and terrain, answering questions quickly.

Fourth, the more expensive hotels(lodges) definitely offer better service and facilities. The distance to travel and the circumstance can also be factors to evaluate, but if you just look at the facilities and services, the more expensive the better.

Everything I mentioned above exceeded my expectations, especially Mr. Elias, who was my guide and driver.
Also, Mr. Joshua, the tour consultant of Africa Big Cat Safaris, made the trip even more memorable by welcoming and farewells on arrival and departure.
I highly recommend both of them if you are looking for a tour operator.

Knowledgeable and well informed
5/5

It was an amazing experience. We had Johnny as our driver and guide and he was great. The pick up was on time from the hotel. And we were in good hands driving through challenging roads due to the flooding but also knowledgeable driver about where to go and how to maximize our experience of seeing the safari animals in the wild. I think the communication could be a bit better when it comes to what to think about before visiting the safari like what to pack, how much luggage you can have with you, what is the weather forecast is like and if there are any reasons to adjust the travel booking.

Un amoureux du français! Great guide, knows a lot, and makes sure you don't miss anything !
5/5

We had a great experience during the Safari, we got to see lions from so close we could've touched them, even heard them roar during our night in the Serengeti. We stopped in the middle of a couple hundreds of zebras and wildebeests, and we also got to see all the Big Fives. Ngorongoro is definitely something that cannot be missed. An unforgettable experience!

The best of all Worlds

Visiting SA for the first time, we didn't have any expectations, but what an amazing experience we were in for. Every day was a new adventure for us, and had us in awe each time.

Cape Town, was a dream, picturesque in every corner. Cuddled by the mountains on one side and an untouched Atlantic ocean on the other.
It was such an amazing chilled vibe, allowing you take life a little slow and soak it all in.
A little drive to Kalk Bay (colorful sea side town filled with cute little shops and boutique restaurants) to see some African Penguins in their natural habitat, via the beautiful Chapmans Peak, with a view of the South Atlantic ocean.
Be prepared for all weather conditions.

Rigter after we flew over to Johannesburg and opted for the 5 day Kruger Park Safari, and we were defnitley not disappointed.
Kruger National Park showed off in the best way posisble, giving us a view of the BIG 5 everyday but all in different settings.
We were blessed with our guide, Hoppy. His knowledge of the park was incredible, spotting the big 5 and alot of other animals, that the naked eye would have missed. Kruger National Park has some beautiful birds (normally overlooked by people only looking for the big 5), but he would point out their beautiful colors and sounds, and we would just get immersed.
He made sure that we had all our meals and stayed in some amazing properties, the first with a view of the hippos just chilling as they normally would, literally 15m away, and where elephants would come to graze as well.
We did a sunset tour while we stayed within the reserve at Satara, where we were literally a foot away from a Lion, just taking a nap, which would later come to have a sip of water just by the reserve.

On the way back, Hoppy took us along the Panorama Route, which is a whole other world of beautiful mountain ranges and lakes and colorful townships.

Thanks to Hoppy, we saw and learned so much more, and he gave us the time to just sometimes sit and enjoy it for awhile.
