Best family vacation ever
5/5

This was our first trip to sub-Saharan Africa. We spent a week with Johnson and his team on a terrifically well-organized safari, visiting a number of parks and seeing more wild animals than I had ever dreamed of. There were 9 of us (three generations) coming from three separate countries, and Sweet Africa brought the whole thing together. Our ages ranged from 17 to 84, and everybody loved the trip. There must have been glitches but we didn't see them, and Sweet Africa made it possible for us to relax and focus on watching the animals in their habitats and spending great time together as a multi-continental family.
Transfers to and from several airports were handled seamlessly, as were all the other details, and the team was available day and night, in all time zones, to help us plan our trip, handle tricky visa questions, inform us on the multiple medical issues, and keep us organized.
The drivers, Peter and George, were fantastically skilled and incredibly well-informed, and so able to tell us not just what we were looking at, but all kinds of great details about habitat, feeding, migrations for the animals and birds, and tons of fascinating facts about the plants in every park.
Sweet Africa catered to our needs before we needed to ask, gave us time together and made a complicated trip incredibly easy and joyful. They deserve 5 + stars, and I recommend them wholeheartedly for any safari in East Africa.

Wild life in Uganda.
5/5

Wild life in Uganda.

The last years we travelled in several countries in Central America. We drove from place to place, seeing so many beautiful spots and attractions. We also visited National Parcs with their own wildlife.

This year we decided to do something completely different. We wanted to see the great wildlife of Africa, and the best country to discover this all should be Uganda! And it did!!!

Because hiring and driving a car ourselves wasn’t an option, we ended up by agency of our dutch safari specialist Mambulu Safaris with Crystal Safaris. They made a program for us which satisfied our wishes. We didn’t want to travel in a group, so we knew that the two of us should be together with our guide and driver for the upcoming 11 days, which made it a little exciting upfront.
Joseph Chiwa turned out to be a very save driver and an excellent guide, we had a very fine click with him. Together we cruised to the following National Parcs; Murchison Falls, Kibale Forest Reserve, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Lake Bunyonyi and Lake Mburo National Park. In between we did a lot of game drives, we made a few hikings, a boat trip on the White Nile to see Murchison Falls and a canoe trip on Lake Bunyoni.

We saw so incredible many beautiful wild animals. We saw the big five, even the leopard (wich is very exceptional). We did see a lot more, like different sort of bucks and monkeys (like the chimp), hippos, giraffes, crocs, zebras and totaly unexpected the very dangerous puff adder. But biggest sensation of all was meeting the big silverback gorilla .... breathtaking ... never to forget...!

All the locations, all the trips with all their bookings and paperwork were pre-arranged. This made the travelling extra comfortable. We made so many pictures of all the beauty we saw, but more important, we stored all the beauty in our heads.

Our holiday in Uganda in one word: Incredible!

African Hartebeest Safaris staff are very friendly and efficient, very knowledgeable about the areas that I visited. This was one of the best holiday safaris ever, and I will definitely use them as my safari operator of choice in future!

What an experience!!
5/5

We did a 3 day tour: Tarangire park, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. I highly recommend it to anyone wishing to see up close animals such as lions, antelopes, gazelles, hyenas, monkeys, giraffes, elephants, ostriches and so on and so forth! Really a fantastic experience, conducted with professionalism and courtesy.
We were on an off-road with a sunroof, which allowed, from a safe and elevated point of view, to admire the flora and fauna of the places. Obviously it is advisable to wear comfortable clothes and a certain tolerance of dust that can enter the passenger compartment. I would also recommend a pair of binoculars to see the animals that are at considerable distances, such as rhinos!
Accommodation in comfortable and clean lodge (type tourist village level). Pic nic with abundant lunch box and water at will.
Perfect general organization.

Kiliholidays tour is the perfect agency if you want to discover the real Tanzanian hospitality. We meet our driver, Thomas, at the airport, at 0:00 am, so, really late, we were really tired so after 45 minutes drive, we arrived at our hotel (included in the tour price). It was comfortable, with hot shower and morning breakfast.
At 8:30 we meet Thomas again and our new friend Daniel, our "stomach engineer".
Thanks to Thomas we meet all the Big 5 and a lot of animals in the serengeti, in Ngorongoro and in all the others games reserve that we visited.
We also joined a cultural tour with the Hadzabe tribe, we went hunting with bow and arrow with our translator, Tom, that translate from Hadza to English ( Hadza is a language use in that tribe, where people use to clap theyr tongue in order to communicate).
After this last adventure we come back to Arusha and in our hotel.
All the safari was by camp site. The camps are safe and really clean, even if they are pubblic. Kiliholidays, but also the other company, respect the tourist and, above all, the enviromet and the animals.
I just want to say thank you to Thomas and Daniel, that allowed us to discover Tanzania, and furthermore we discovered 2 beautifull people really professional and funny. I hope to see them again in my life

Best trip at the best price
5/5

Contacted on the advice of the Arusha Giraffa Lodge, we visited the Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Manyara parks with Aardvark Expeditions.
Result: three really incredible days !!!
Perfect organization. 2 overnight stays in lodges unexpectedly comfortable and beautiful as resorts (especially the Country Lodge Karatu), with swimming pools, restaurants and relaxation areas.
In addition to good dinners and breakfasts, even 2 rich lunches at noon.
During the excursions (full day), with appropriate off-road, we have seen lions, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, imphala, gazelles, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, monkeys, hyenas, jackals, mongooses, birds of all kinds and even (from far away) 2 black rhinos. Wonderful baobabs.
A special mention for the driver / guide Livingston who besides being nice, really knew his stuff and made us fill up with animals always in absolute safety.
At the end of February the weather was excellent, the savannah was green and full of newborn puppies.
A heartfelt thanks and a greeting to Mr. Philemon (the manager) who has kept every promise, thus allowing us to live a wonderful and memorable adventure (which I would also recommend to those with children).

Great 4-day-Safari to Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro
5/5

I had a wonderful Safari booked through Cross to Africa Safaris and operated by Meru Slopes (they cooperate and fill each other's cars as they offer the same tours). We went to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro for four days and I had a great time! The food was excellent and everything was taken care of. I especially liked how the little local African operators supported each other in finding animals or helping out when someone was stuck.
They even started buying different sized bottles when we mentioned our concern about the plastic waste that was so much bigger with the smaller bottles. So it shows that it pays off to also worry a bit about the ecological aspect as a traveler.
All in all, a very recommendable trip!

Excellent service and a wonderful experience
5/5

Had a fantastic experience with Natural World. Drivers were excellent, very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. Henry did us a huge favour and switched us from a minibus to a 4x4 for the second part of our trip with no hassle at all. All pickups and drop offs were smooth and we were even able to sort a trip to a masai village with just a few hours notice. I honestly cannot recommend these guys enough!

Enosa exceeded all of my expectations. They did not miss a single detail. The entire crew in both our Kiliimanjaro trek and safari were amazing.

Beautiful country with friendly people

All was wonderful except Shemeji Safari company. The itinerary they advertise is ambigious, they promise 2 days in Serengeti but it is actually 1 day. Beware this when comparing with other companies. It looks cheaper, but in fact it is much more expensive compared to what is offered. When tried to discuss this, instead of understanding and giving an explanation, manager (Emma) started to shout at me. Thanks to Patrick, our guide, who had much better communication abilities than Emma, our holiday is saved.
