Absolutely outstanding from start to finish! Sethunya went far and beyond our expectations. From the very first communication . she handled everything with such ease and professionalism and attention to detail. what really stood out was how personal the whole experience felt, we felt cared for throughout. It's rare to come across a tour operator that delivers at this level! and I feel 5 stars simply don't feel enough. An unforgettable journey through Tanzania and Zanzibar
Our trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar was an absolutely wonderful and unforgettable experience. From the beginning, we felt very well looked after and supported by the team.
A special thank you goes to Diana Kibwe, our travel specialist. She was always friendly, helpful and approachable, and whenever we had a question or a problem, she responded quickly and found a solution. This gave us a great feeling of security throughout the trip.
Our safari was one of the highlights of the entire journey. The organisation worked very well, the itinerary was varied and we had many unforgettable wildlife experiences. Our driver-guide was knowledgeable, friendly and always tried to make the best possible experience for us. We saw elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and many other animals, and the landscapes of the Serengeti and the other parks were simply spectacular.
The combination of safari in Tanzania and several days in Zanzibar was perfect for us. After the exciting and sometimes exhausting safari days, Zanzibar was the ideal place to relax and enjoy the Indian Ocean.
We also appreciated how quickly the team reacted when we had some problems with our first room at Paradise Beach Resort. Diana took our concerns seriously and arranged a room change very quickly. The second room was much better and showed us that the team genuinely cared about our experience.
Overall, we are extremely happy with our trip. We came home with fantastic memories and more than 2,000 photos that will remind us of this special journey for many years to come.
A big thank you to Diana and the entire team for organising such a wonderful trip for us. We would highly recommend them to anyone planning a safari and Zanzibar holiday in Tanzania.

The trip of a lifetime
We are a family of 6 from New York with kids ages 9 to 17. After researching and getting several quotes, we booked a 2-week safari and beach trip in Kenya with Splendid Vacations. Before, during, and after we booked we had numerous communications with Alice asking all kinds of questions and follow-ups. She was extremely responsive and helpful, even overnight and at early hours East Africa time.
We had the trip of a lifetime! Kenya is spectacular. The people we met were incredibly kind and hospitable. It is hard to imagine a better place to visit.
We feel very fortunate to have been paired with our guide and driver, Alex Masila. He was an A+. The game drives in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli were fantastic for everyone in our family. We saw "the big 5," which was excellent, and we also saw all kinds of other wildlife in all kinds of settings and scenarios, including lots of instances with no one else around and with such peace and serenity. Alex has some magic tricks that keep him several steps ahead out there. He also is extremely knowledgeable, and has a great feel as a host and guide. He was also simpatico with our autistic 9-year-old. He felt like part of our family by the end of the safari.
The lodgings were magnificent. In one instance a lodging on our original itinerary was full, and Splendid instead booked an alternative lodging that was better at no additional cost. The beach resort was spectacular.
The transportation was reliable. The jeep was flawless, even over the potholed roads with their African massage. Our train ride to Mombasa and flight back to Nairobi also went without a hitch.
In addition to the game drives, the added excursions were unforgettable. Some of the highlights were the walk along the Masai River, the boat tour on Lake Naivasha, the visit to a Masai village, and the snorkeling day trip at Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park and Wasini Island.
If we are ever lucky enough to return the first thing we'll do is contact Alice and Alex to book with Splendid again!

Excellent and reliable company
I recommend Roju Safaris; we booked our safari with them through the Safaribookings site and they were just so helpful throughout the whole process from pre-booking to customising the experience to match our wishes (flying into the Mara and returning by road). The lodge we stayed in at the Mara (Emayian luxury camp) was truly outstanding, and the private safari drive upon landing at the Mara was just wonderful (we saw rhinos). Rodgers was always attentive and responded quickly to queries. I would definitely recommend him and his company to anyone booking a safari in Kenya. You'll be in safe hands.

The most amazing experience
I have travelled a lot in my life but this trip was one of the best in my life. Meklina and her team made sure i was the most comfortable and our guide luis made sure we saw all the animals we wished for, and the best part was the Hadzabe culture, OMG! Left us in tears

We did not have to think or organize anything. Our guide, Sam was so professional. We were lucky to see many kind of animals and the whole vibe was just delivered by Sam. We were really taken care of by him.

The best safari ever
I had a wonderful experience with Winter, he is amazing, he drives very good and he stopped every time I wanted to buy something in the gas station, he stayed all the time I wanted to Take photos of the animals and stop every time I see something, even the same eagle Múltiple times he said "you want to Take a picture?" All times. We saw leopard and genet Cat in the night safari, shoebill in mabamba, red tail colobus in bigodi.... I would recommend Amakula African safaris and repeat this trip all my Life if I could.

Julius helped me organize my spontaneous decision – 4-day Safari (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro). Everything was arranged very efficiently and at an excellent price-to-quality ratio. Julius was an incredible support, handling all airport and hotel transfers. Whenever I needed anything, he replied instantly. I felt completely safe and treated like royalty throughout the entire trip.4-Day Safari:The organization was seamless. The campsites were clean, and the tents were spacious and comfortable (equipped with mattresses, sleeping bags, and pillows), always set up for us in advance. The multi-course dinners prepared by the chefs were delicious, and our group was wonderfully surprised by a bottle of wine every evening. Our first guide in Tarangire, Boniface, was absolutely amazing, funny, and highly knowledgeable about the wildlife and biodiversity. He was also very attentive, offering to take unforgettable photos of me at the best scenic spots. I highly recommend Boniface! Although the guide for the next three days was less proactive, the drivers communicated excellently via radio, and we successfully managed to see the entire Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino)!

Great Safari Experience from Start to Finish
Our safari with Serengeti Smile Tours was an experience from start to finish. The lodges were fit for purpose, and since the tour was fully onboarded, we never had to worry about getting hungry during the trip.
We saw so many animals, and our tour guide, Hussein, was excellent at spotting them. He was also knowledgeable and shared interesting local information along the way, which made the experience even better.
Thankfully, our safari vehicle did not break down at any point, so everything went smoothly. The locations of the lodges were also great and definitely worth staying at while exploring the Serengeti.
Overall, a memorable safari experience and one I would recommend to others visiting Tanzania.

Amazing safari
