Knowledgeable
5/5

Would recommend the tour as a must-do for all those visiting Victoria Falls to understand life beyond the hotel and tourist attractions. Our guide Harrison was knowledgeable, sensitive, and facilitated a great visit.

Amazing Big 5 Experience
5/5

We booked a 14 day safari with Gilmag Safaris and were worried about the reliability of the service, but when we read review feedbacks from previous customers, we knew we were going to be in the right hands. They were much cheaper than some other quotes received. Mary and her team were there for us and went the extra mile with every possible request had. Mary was always available on WhatsApp and her email replying was also exceptionally fast.
Nickson was a great driver and very friendly, making us feel comfortable from the first moment we met him. The safari was everything I wanted it to be. Within the first 2 days of the safari we saw all of the big five. We saw countless animals: lions, buffalo, leopards, elephants, Giraffes, Rhinos, Warthogs, impalas, Waterbucks, etc (all at close range). Don’t doubt and use this company. You won’t be disappointed! They mean business!
10/10 for Gilmag Safaris! What an amazing experience. We shall definitely come back and recommend you to our friends and colleagues.

Dedicated guides and exquisite accommodations
5/5

Migration Venture put together a custom trip for us with all of our special requests. We asked for side trips to an orphanage and coffee plantation, and rides to and from various airports. Our trip had a contingent in the south with a Ruaha safari, and a flight to the north to visit the northern parks of Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongora. Migration Ventures accommodated everything with really great guides in both places. The accommodations were fabulous. We stayed in some rustic but really classy lodges, again great food and help. The guides communicated well always kept us informed on departures and logistics. They did a great job herding our group of 12. And finally I was impressed with their dedication to finding the animals in the parks. We were totally satisfied.

Another amazing day tour in Kruger.
5/5

Khalanga Safaris is amazing. It is easy to book a trip, the communication is super good, and pick-up at a Kruger camp was arranged. It was our 5 or 6 trip with Khalanga's owner Shoes. Shoes was born and raised in the bush, and has a great deal of knowledge about the landscape, fauna, animals and not least about our great passion birds. I can highly recommend Khalanga safaris for your Kruger trip. This is not the last time we drive with Khalanga /Shoes. Hopefully next time with overnight stays in Kruger national park.

Lewis Rocks
5/5

The Driver made the difference. Lewis was safe, knowledgeable and more than experienced. We left from Arusha to Serengeti, then finished through Ngorongoro. Was able to see the Big 5 and the Ugly 5. Highly recommend and will do this again.

Another thrilling safari with Dancing Zebra!
5/5

This was our seventh trip with Dancing Zebra Safari Co, and we have two more trips already booked for 2025! We basically give Jessica Mathews, the owner of Dancing Zebra, an idea of where we want to go, and in a short time, she comes up with a fully detailed itinerary! We usually approve the first draft. She is simply the best at safari planning! This year was all Tanzania, and also, this was a honeymoon trip for us, so Jessica made sure the camps knew that so they could give us special treats, which we really appreciated!

After visiting a Maasai village, which was an adventure in itself, we started our safari at Ngorongoro Crater, which was having something of a “super-bloom” of yellow flowers, which added quite a lot of vibrant color to the landscape. We saw all the animals there, including a rare rhino sighting! The Craters Edge lodge where we stayed was superb. Then it was off to the Serengeti, and back with the big herds of the great migration. We saw thousands of wildebeests and zebras every day, along with the lions and other predators that welcome the herds into their territory. Our first afternoon we saw 8 lions in a tree, which is something I have never seen before, in my 10 trips to Africa! Next morning we saw 11 lions walking down the road, which is another thing I have never seen. We also saw a lion kill, and three mornings in a row, we saw cheetah kills. This is about the most thrilling thing you can see on safari, especially when you see these fast cats open up at top speed.

We stayed at the top notch Lemala camps of Ewanjan and Nanyukie in central and eastern Serengeti, which were excellent as always. Our intrepid safari guide/driver, Ian, seems to have a map in his head of every dirt road, large or small. That’s why he says, “the Serengeti is my back yard” He gave directions to probably 6 other drivers who were a little lost. With Ian, we never get lost!

Altogether, this was a great trip, right at the top along with our other Dancing Zebra trips! All the detailed planning by Jessica really pays off. Next May, it’s off to South Africa and Namibia!

Just Amazing ! I already wanna go back again!
5/5

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a 4-day, 3-night safari that exceeded all my expectations. Our accommodations were in luxurious tents that provided an authentic yet comfortable experience under the stars. The nights were absolutely amazing, with the sounds of the wild adding a magical touch.

The safari drives were nothing short of spectacular. Our drivers, Macha from Travel to Africa and Ezekiel from Suricata, showcased exceptional driving skills and an incredible depth of knowledge about the wildlife. Their expertise ensured that we had thrilling encounters with the Big Five, making the safari truly unforgettable.

The culinary experience was equally impressive, thanks to our talented chef who prepared delicious meals that added a touch of gourmet to our adventure.

A special mention goes to Halima from Suricata, who was outstanding in her role. She meticulously arranged every aspect of our trip, from the initial planning to the final day, and was always available to provide detailed information and assistance during the safari.

Overall, this safari was a remarkable journey filled with excitement, comfort, and unforgettable moments, all thanks to the exceptional team that made it possible.

Very happy with our choice of Meru slopes as safari operatorr
5/5

The best tour operator in and around Arusha! We had a fantastic time with Meru Slopes on our 7 day Safari + Kilimanjaro/Materuni Excursion. Our guide and driver Andrew was exceptional, always in a good mood, very knowledgeable, also really patient and with his 24 years experience as a Safari Guide he spotted many of the very rare animals. Our chef Rashidi cooked huge and delicious local and international meals for us. He even got up at 3am to prepare breakfast and cook a proper hot lunch which we took to our game drives (every meal freshly cooked and friendly for tourist stomachs).
For our Materuni Waterfalls and coffee tour at Kilimanjaro, as well as airport pickup and drop off we had Fidelis as tour guide/driver. He is such a nice person and very knowledgeable about the tour as he's from the Chaga tribe himself. This is a really interesting tour because you can get to know more of the culture, learn about the coffee and also you can buy organic coffee to support the community.
All in all we highly recommend Meru Slopes for a Safari and tours in/around Arusha. They are doing a great job and gave us an experience of a lifetime that we're never going to forget. Also because of the kindness and the Hakuna matata lifestyle
