Excellent service and a great trip!
I chose one of the more popular self drive routes in Namibia. It was a nine day trip visiting most of the high lights.
Overal the service was great. The car rental pickup and drop off went very smooth and the vehicle (Toyota) was perfect for driving around in Namibia.
The accommodations were amazing. Even though I purchased the basic to medium level accommodations, they were very clean and up to date. Wifi was very fast at each of the accommodations I visited!
The information package was easy to use and was full of useful tips.
I can highly recommend using Great Explorations Namibia for your dream self drive in Namibia. You won't be disappointed.

Trustworthy and tailored safari experience
I can’t sing enough praise for this company and our guide Peter. What a special experience we had in the Masai Mara. I was nervous about booking online so I spent a lot of time researching different tour companies until I felt confident I could trust them. When we arrived in Nairobi, we went to visit Brian and Michael at their office and finalized our reservation. The whole trip, from transport to accommodation, was exactly as I had expected, or way better.
Peter, our guide, was calm which is just the energy you want on safari. His landcruiser was great quality and very comfortable for the trip. The roads are very bumpy so this made a big difference. Peter knew how to communicate with other guides in the park so we could experience some truly special moments with cheetahs, elephants and lions. In only one day we saw 3 of the big 5 and much much more.
We stayed at Keekorok Lodge inside the park gates which was excellent, and the hippo pool was a big bonus.
We chose a private tour and it was totally worth the extra costs to have more freedom to do what we wanted and more space in the vehicle. Some group vans we passed looked very crowded.
Amazing memories is a great name for this company who created a very special, tailored, experience for us. Happy to book with them again.

Excellent safari, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara
We enjoyed a wonderful safari in Kenya booked with Image travel. I initially communicated with Mwanje who provided a detailed itinerary with costs. The communication was good with quick responses via WhatsApp and email.
Our driver David worked hard throughout our Safari and was with us throughout. He was an excellent driver and guide who navigated the roads effectively, which due to the recent rains were quite difficult and involved long journeys. David drove us to all the Safari parks where he spotted lots of animals and we saw the big five including a leopard cub in the Masai Mara!!
David managed to get us back to Nairobi airport from Masai Mara on time for our flight to Diani beach 😀
All three of the lodges we stayed in were excellent and in great locations to see all the animals.
I would probably recommend doing a fly and drive Safari to save the long car journeys.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Safari and recommend Image Travel. We took home wonderful memories of seeing all the animals in their natural environments.

Reliable and Experienced Tour Operator
A friend of mine and I booked a safari tour to Masai Mara through Magwar Escapades Ltd at the last minute, just in the late afternoon the day before the safari trip began the following morning. We found this tour operator through internet searching and decided to book through them after reading good reviews from fellow travelers. Like those reviews, we were satisfied with their service and professionalism.
We traveled in a 4WD open-rooftop Land Cruiser jeep with 5 other travelers, so there were 7 travelers altogether plus a driver named James. We were picked from Nairobi town where we were advised earlier to be the meeting point.
The safari tour itself was awesome and exciting. James, our driver, is a very nice person, friendly, and patient. He is an experienced and safe driver. He is also very informative and knowledgeable about animals found in the Masai Mara National Reserve. He explained to us characteristics of the animals and how to differentiate male and female giraffes or zebras, for instance. He also understands that we, travelers, would be excited if we could be as close as possible to the animals. He managed to get our jeep stop so close to the animals, the closest among other vehicles doing the same safari trip.
As this was my first safari trip, I found it very interesting and exciting. We were also blessed with good weather when we were there doing the safari trip. We had bright and sunny days the whole three days with only small showers in the evening that did not last long.
In sum, we had a good time in Masai Mara and enjoyed the safari trip that we had with Magwar Escapades. We would certainly recommend this tour operator to you who want to experience the safari trip.

Excellent experience
We went on a 4-day safari with them and it really was incredible. We have visited 3 parks and we have seen all the animals possible, a unique experience.
Noel has been super attentive to us and has been in communication with us all the time.

Our driver Denis was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the animals. Went out of his way to make sure we got to see as many animals as close up as possible. Food was good throughout. Always felt safe and welcome at each place we stayed. Great value for money. Would recommend to friends who wish to safari in Kenya.

Safari Holiday
Well I don’t know where to start !! All the way through my husband booking and planning this once in a lifetime trip,Alice from morning star has been absolutely amazing sorting out every possible place to visit and explore. Alice was outstanding when we had a issue with the eTA visa and without her and her manager’s input we would have had to start our trip a few days late but we were only 12 hours late ,we generally can’t thank her and the team enough.
The airport pickup was with the lovely Alice ,Carol and Simon ( the smiling machine) I believe they call him.
Our transfer to our guide was done by the lovely Augustine another happy and informative .
Now to the piece de resistance our tour guide ALEX !! This man can spot an animal miles away and his knowledge of Kenya is better than google! He is a walking encyclopaedia, nothing was too much trouble for him, he was funny , happy and totally charming and we have made a friend for life.
You cannot choose a better tour operator than morning Star as they are the best and you cannot beat PERFECTION 🤩🤩

A very motivated company willing to go the extra distance to make your visit a memorable experience!
Our experience with Goodluck’s Habitat Adventure Travels was just fantastic! From the time Goodluck (the owner) met us at the hotel till we signed off, it was first class experience! Our guide Joel was very knowledgeable and experience personified. He literally went the extra mile(s) looking for wild life and we were lucky to see all the Big Five in less than two days. I’m positive this wouldn’t have been possible if Joel had just stuck to the beaten paths.
The choice of lodgings was fabulous, both Farm Valley and KubuKubu. We were served vegetarian food in formal dining setup (no box lunches!).
It was definitely good value for money, the guide was very punctual and most importantly communicated very well with relevant information. I have no hesitation in recommending Habitat Adventure Travels any day for a Serengeti adventure!
