Excellent Tanzania Local Safari Company
We were looking for a local and woman owned company and then we found Zohar African Safari. We traveled with family and friends in 8 people. It was an awesome experience. We had two cars and two guides. We could not had better guides than Tom and Solomon. They went far and beyond to please us . They were very knowledgeable, pleasant and respectful men . We saw all the 5 Bigs and much more animals than expected Having a happy hour in the safari at the sunset was an extra touch of kindness. Safari team was very informative and helped us to customize our trip . Highly recommended them Eliza

Efficient, organised, friendly
Myself and my partner visited the Masai Mara & Nakuru over a 5 day trip. We were picked up from our accommodation on time, taken to the offices in Nairobi to finalise payments & paperwork and then we were on our way! Driving to Mara was tiring, but stops were made along the way to stretch the legs/buy snacks and drinks. We arrived at our camp where lunch was prepared upon our arrival. After lunch, we went on our first game drive which was excellent. We did a total of 1 afternoon drive & 2 full game drives (with packed lunches prepared), and it was safe to say our trip would not have been half as good if it wasn't for our outstanding guide and driver Soloman. He was professional, knowledgeable and most of all, friendly. 16 years of experience clearly paid off as the sightings were simply magical. We cannot thank Soloman enough for his efforts.
The food is basic, but sufficient, and the accommodation is basic but comfortable & clean. The hosts at the camp were extremeoy friendly and happy to help in anyway.
If you choose Jocky (which you should!), ask and keep your fingers crossed for Soloman as your guide & driver. He is the reason the trip was 5 stars.

Fun, action packed adventure of a lifetime
We've just returned from an unforgettable trip organized by Kanje Grand Tours, and we'd like to express our gratitude to the whole team! Our guides, Emmanuel and Khalid, were exceptional throughout the safari( Tarangire , Serengeti , Ngorogoro ). Their knowledge of the flora and fauna, their enthusiasm and their attention to detail made every moment magical.

Amazing time! Omben/Benny, Kenny and the rest of the team were amazing from start to finish! A challenging climb but they created a great team vibe,kept it funny, and were in the funniest and toughest moments.

Amazing safari
We have had a gorgeous safari time with the guides from Kigelia tours. It was amazing how they have always found their way without navigation system – not only in the parks but also in town and in the countryside. This shows their great experience.
Both our guides were driving safely and never rushed. Consequently, we could always relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. They also provided us with interesting information about wildlife and people. The planning and customer orientation was excellent.

The excellent experience & The best guide
This was my dream trip and the kids' most unforgettable destination so far. We met the best guide, Shafino, who showed us many rare animals and sights. The kids absolutely loved him! This trip was to celebrate their elementary school graduation. My son hopes to come back when he turns eighteen and find Shafino as his friend and guide again!

Jennifer went above and beyond our expectations.
My friends and I could not have asked for better tour guides for our first time in Uganda than Jennifer and Abdul! We picked the “budget” tour and was surprised that it came with all that it did since it felt luxurious to us. The lodges Jennifer picked had ideal locations for the sights and animals we wanted to see. The staff were also very accommodating, and the food served was healthy and delicious. Jennifer and Abdul brought us an experience that we will truly never forget - from seeing the lions and leopards hanging out in the trees of the savanna, to the gorillas in the rain forest, and even meeting and sharing a dance with the Batwa people. Jennifer and Abdul went above and beyond for our group of friends and I can’t recommend them enough.

I customized group tour and it was terrific
I am so pleased with this tour. It was far beyond my expectation. The drivers made great efforts to be able to see animals up close. It was a lot of fun. This is my first safari and I am so glad I did it.
By the way, I CUSTOMIZED the GROUP tour. Yes, you can do it if you wish. I did 8 days group tour(Masai Mara 3 nights, Nakuru, Naivasha, Amboseli 2 nights). It was a great choice for me.
But, there were problems. At Masai Mara, I was not connected to the next jeep because it was full. I asked for the next game drive, then I was given a private jeep which was nice. But there were no further tour. So I asked the lady at Lenchada camp to call the tour company and ask for the next tour. She did great job and next day I was transferred by a private car to the next destination Nakuru. Then I joined another group but the tour ended at Naivasha. So I asked the driver to connect me to the Amboseli tour. Then I joined another tour to Amboseli. So, everything I contracted were given, but I had to ask for it every time.
I think this is a rare case. Customized group tour was not on routine work, so it caused problems.
Even after considering these problems, my honest rating is five stars. The safari tour was once in a lifetime excellent experience.
Lenchada Safaris and Jocky Tours are the parters and they do safari tour together. Both of them are very reputable and I do recommend them.
